Great video! I was able to get the Bowie, Thin Lizzy, Ramones, ordered Up In Smoke, and managed to snag Screaming Trees, Malfunkshun, Sponge, Sisters Of Mercy, Television Live, and Jim Croce. Quite a nice haul.
Trivia time: The Bowie song "Hang onto yourself" was referenced in a Bangles song "Glitter Years" on the Everything album. I spent my RSD in Las Vegas and I visited the Fantastic indoor swap meet and visited my favorite booth there and they only had the Eric Carr on CD. While I was there browsing, Eric Singer wandered in looking at jazz albums. Super nice guy.
hey nice vid dylan! yeah! after getting there like 5:30a & freezin my buns off, it was worth it, bc I snagged everything i wanted...I could go through the list but I actually did a whole haul vid! &, i'm def showcase this on my "yalls hauls" rsd vid! holla at ya boy. keep on groovin ur way -mark
On my way to the store now. Picking up the Black Breath box set, Duncan Sheik and the Stones At Racket. If I can't get any of those, I have some plan B picks too. Great video Dylan!
Dylan, Mike from the In Groove must had 15 copies of the Carr with the glowing eyes he is in Arizona instead of paying overseas shipping I thought I just let you know.
Hi from good old Germany. My RSD-Treasures are: Ace Frehley Picture Disc, Eric Carr Vinyl Box whit the lightning effect, Motörhead "the löst tapes" Norwich 1998 and "Better Motörhead than dead" All the best from Malente, Germany, Thorsten 🐵
Oh man. My store had 7 of the Eric Carr boxes by the time I got in after waiting in line about an hour. I grabbed one and the guy in front of me grabbed one. I went back to the store an hour later just to browse more casually after the crowds died down and they still had four. Wish I knew you needed it. They then put them up on their site and they sold out. Maybe over time the price on eBay will go down as more pop up.
Nice haul man! To bad you couldn't get a copy of the eric carr box set! I was able to get that and got the last copy of the cd version as well. Also picked up Aces picture disc along with thin lizzy and the ramones. Might pick up that stones and motley album if there any left overs out there!
Great video! I picked up the Bowie, Todd Rundgren Liars, Zappa for President and Parliament Osmium. I wanted the Captain Beefheart Spotlight Kid but didn't find it. One of the stores I went to had about a dozen of the Eric Carr releases left and that was after about a dozen people already bought one. . I didn't pick it up but I think I will be able to get one later this week....hopefully. Take care!
I’m sure you could have gotten the Eric Carr without paying international shipping. I have found that if you wait almost all RSD releases can be found at a good price. I sold my Ramones LP CD boxset when I heard the 75 demos were going to be released. That live Talking Heads is a great RSD release. For me the #1 release is the live Wall of Voodoo. It is great. It is just me but picture discs and glow in the dark vinyl are deal breakers.
The Bowie one has to be the worst and most unnecessarily release I have ever witnessed by the Bowie estates. There are no new mixes, no new tracks. Just a different track listing. Not even sweet head!! And that for 30 bucks?? The rock n roll star one cost less, plus it's got never before heard demos of the album. They could've done something super cool like some kind of 90s release which I am still demanding after the disappointing content lack lusting era 5 release, but no. This is the most waste of money I have ever seen. This is worse than any discogs scalper putting up the five years box for above anything 400€

Nice meeting you today!
I really wanted the crue picture disc and couldn’t find it anywhere!!!
Got all of mine🤘
I was able to get the Eric Carr unfinished business vinyl and Ace Frehley 10,000 volts picture disc
Eric Carr was the drummer in kiss from 1980 to 1991
It was a mistake, he’s a huge Kiss fan
Steven Wilson Harmonic Divergence ??
Seems a lot of people don't mind getting ripped off
Huh?

Agreed. Would have been cool with alternative mixes of those songs. CD on shuffle would pretty much cover this .
The Bowie record seemed like a ripoff.
Haha …So people who bought it got ripped off ….ah don’t think so mate
