Understanding and Protecting Squash Bees in California

Dr. Susan Willis-Chan provided a science-based exploration of the biology and behavior of the hoary squash bee in cucurbit crops. She talked about the importance of the hoary squash bee as a crop pollinator and presented best practices to protect them from the negative impacts of pesticide use in IPM systems.
