How are you finding your energy levels doing a PhD and 75 day hard, do you find that you are increasing your caffeine levels at all? Is it changing the way you feel toward your days spent in the lab at all?

Great questions!!! Initially, it was difficult to manage 6 days of working out + lab work for the first two weeks, but I’ve been prioritizing sleep (minimum 7-8 hours) so it’s been helping with my energy levels. As for caffeine, I’ve never been much of a caffeine addict but one sweet coffee a day is my maximum (I am a slow coffee drinker so it takes the whole day for me to finish it + I put it in my Stanley mug so it is kept cold all day)! Long lab days + 75hard (modified version) hasn’t affected my lab work because I’ve always done some of the things on the 75 list (reading, 4 days of working out, drinking water etc) but now there’s just a few more to check mark off - which is why josh and I decided to do a modified 75 hard. Always do what works best for you, for your schedule/life. I hope this answers all of your questions 🫶🏻 ps check out the 75 hard video, I explain a lot about my energy levels + doing the challenge in the video! - Christine ☺️❤️
