Kazakhstan is an amazing country! There are steppes, deserts, sea, rivers, lakes, mountain ranges, canyons. The lake with trees in the water is called Kaindy. A hundred years ago it was a valley, but after an earthquake it was flooded with water. When you watch Dimash's MV Kairan Elim (My Sacred Land) you will recognize this place, it filmed there. Here are represented 4 elements: earth, fire, water and air. The golden eagle is the symbol of Kazakhstan.
Judging by the imagery here, it sure is! It was a fairly easy guess that the golden eagle is the symbol of Kazakhstan, as it seems to "morph" into Dimash at the start, but I didn't notice the 4 elements represented until you mentioned it and it sort of clicked. I did not know there was another song about Kazakhstan. I just found the Qairan Elim video and added it to the list. Thank you for all the information here, Elena! ❤❤❤
Great reaction and great editing too. Yes they have huge amounts of wildlife and many more species not shown in the MV. Btw they actually stampeded that herd of wild horses around him. It was really scary to watch as they were really close to him at times.
Thank you! I hope you mean the original video editing, which really was great. I don't do any editing myself. 😊 I doubt someone who's really scared would be able to stand and not faint in that situation. Seems like Dimash is an animal lover, which is so cool!
@AleksReacts I meant the little comments you put at the top of the screen, such apt comments at just the right points. Dimash was as cool as a cucumber and yes he loves animals. Both the dogs in the video are his. One was given to him by the president of Kazakhstan last year. It's a very rare breed called a Tazzy and it's a Kazakh hunting dog. It's just been recognised as an official breed by the Kennel Club, it was almost extinct but are being bred again up to a reasonable level. At the time Dimash was given his first one there were only 300 in existence. The French President Macron was also given a pair around the same time as Dimash was given Garyshker. He's an excellent rider too, there's a couple of videos of him riding in the mountains with his friends. He was asked once in an interview if he rode and the look on his face was a picture before he answered of course I ride, I'm Kazakh 🤣 He was once gifted a horse too.
Oh, I totally forgot about those edits. Yes, that I do sometimes when potentially relevant. 😊 Thank you for letting me know I finally have something in common with Dimash - no fear of wild or domestic animals. ❤❤❤ Cool info on Tazzies (I'm guessing the spelling of plural here). 👉 It takes my breath away. I am fascinated by the beautiful and diverse landscapes of Kazakhstan. Can a country advertise itself better than with a proud Kazakh, with the unique Dimash? Added to this is the almost aggressive music and a proud Kazakh on his horse, our Dimash, who flies over the steppe and praises the beauty of his homeland and its people with fiery words... and all of this at a breathtaking speed that suits everyone follows the rhythm of the song and emphasizes its power and energy. Mansur's brief interlude in the video shows Dimash's endless love and bond with his family, his brother. Dimash did create the best advertisement for Kazakhstan with this video. From the landscapes, to the "almost aggressive music", wonderful equestrian stunts and most of all his energy throughout the video. I very much agree with that one's nation, cultural heritage including music, art, language, traditions are the best bedrock for a strong and clear image of oneself and a healthy life within a community be it homogenous or diverse. You cannot appreciate or enjoy other cultures, if your own does not exist. So, I hope that the German children will know who they are despite the school system of learning. Their parents should teach them and save the cultural heritage we all need not to lose color in our world. Love to Germany from Serbia! ❤❤❤
@@AleksReactsHello Aleks, thank you very much for your hopeful good wishes. Unfortunately the situation in my country is very bad. The schools have long since lost their neutrality. Religion and nation have never been my cups of tea, yet I always cast an eye on what these powerful psycho-social institutions can inspire in artists. Dimash, as we know, has been, from a very young age, a fervent disciple of Abai, the great philosopher and moralist of Kazakhstan. Consequently, he has always expressed a burning desire to serve the community. In a recent interview in China, he even admitted to using his position as an international artist to serve as an ambassador and took the opportunity to encourage other singers to do the same. An ambassador of peace, naturally, as this was the core of Abai’s philosophy. The music video is powerful, on par with Dimash’s fiery passion, but in MVs domain, I still hold a preference for the fabulous music videos that the brilliant Alffy Rev has dedicated to his homeland, Indonesia, notably his "Sacred Nusantara" : ruclips.net/video/Fa_rNR__UV0/видео.html
I can't say I really mind nation and religion, as long as they are not imposed on others... I actually find that the beauty of the human world consists of so many different nations/religions and their customs, culture, style of singing, dancing, their traditional clothing, etc. All those things give us an identity, a set of values, and as long as we still have a choice to absorb them or not, I'm good with that. Dimash's love for his country is evident in this video and I applaud the fact that he found a wonderful way to (rep)present his homeland and show its beauty to the world. Wish more artists did that in such a way, showing the landscapes, using traditional instruments and even traditional way of singing to, well frankly, show off their heritage and all the beauties of their countries. As long as they stop right there and allow people to either fall in love with it or not.
@@AleksReacts I previously explained the distinction I make between religion and religiosity, but I failed to do so regarding the concept of the nation. I share your belief that "the beauty of the human world consists of so many different customs, culture, styles of singing, dancing, traditional clothing, etc." As I’ve mentioned before regarding music, I prefer traditional songs to American-style songs that are sung in the same way across the world. However, in saying this, I make a significant distinction between ethnicity and nation. An ethnicity may be rooted for centuries or even millennia in one or several regions, or it may be nomadic. That is something truly beautiful. On the other hand, there is nothing more artificial, ephemeral, subject to the whims of political and commercial interests, and thus more prone to creating conflict, exclusion, and suffering, than the borders of nations. I often say : my passport is French, but I am not (especially knowing my mother was Irish and my father Italian, himself of Slovenian and German descent). Theoretically, the Basque Country where I currently live is part of France, but the Basques consider the French to be foreigners. The same applies to Corsica, Brittany, and other regions. I believe you experienced a similar situation in Yugoslavia. Alsace, for example, has been German, then French, then German again, and then French once more… Borders and nations have caused far more harm than good. I am glad for you that Serbia is today both your nation and your ethnic region, but do you believe all Tibetans are happy to be considered Chinese? Spiritual traditions and ethnicities are treasures. Religiosity and nationalism are poisons.
I remember your explanation of religion and religiosity well. It seems that we both have a very similar view, but use different words to explain them. There are many people in Serbia who are not Serbian (Hungarian, Croatian, Romanian, Slovenian, German, French, American, etc.). Therefore, I believe that regardless of ethnicity, a nation is still a community of a different sort that "owns the same house" and should still care about that house, while preserving their own ethnic traditions. One house can have many different ornaments coming from different cultures. Personally, chauvinism rather than nationalism is poison. Loving your own nation living in that "one house" is not the same as hating all others... That enables us to understand various ethnicities living in that same house, as we should all have the same common interest - the health and wellbeing within the house. A nation to me is like a family, while ethnicity would then be an individual within the family. Some family members tend to think of themselves as better or more deserving than others and then the "fun" begins. If they all thought of the family has a whole, no family would fall apart. Unfortunately, the human condition is such that someone seems to always needs to lead or "think of themselves as better", which is why the curse of borders, countries and fighting over territory has always existed. Zdravo Aleks! Super reakcija, hvala!
🤣
🇨🇦 Looks like Dimash had a lot of fun creating this ! Great ambassador for his country ! 🇨🇦
Turned out great, in my opinion! Definitely a great ambassador for his country! ❤
