This part 🤣😭 I thought I was the only one on a natural journey for so long and stop haven’t found a proper routine or learned to properly take care of my hair
🙋🏾♀️ me too-13 years here. Since being natural, I have been through countless big chops because I get frustrated. In the midst of nice growth, I color or cause some sort of heat damage, which would cause me to big chop. Other BCs were from me growing out a style and not liking the awkward stage. So, right now I am taking care of every bit of hair; even the part that is growing in the nape out of a tapered cut. This year’s heat damage caused a stir to force me to stop playing and really try.
Makeup is giving what it’s supposed to give!! Thank you Brittany for your commitment to us in using your hair as a model. I know you deal with a lot online as a content creator, but just know your supporters are proud of you and will keep showing up! Your reviews are so helpful! And though my hair is tighter and thinner than yours, you help type 4 girls feel seen! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! My subscribers had me in a chokehold over the Mielle products lol, and I just retired them. They don’t work as good as when they first came out, especially that twisting souffle. Anyway, If God says the same, I hope your business reaches the heights you hope. ❤❤❤
The issue with the Miche Gel to Foam is how they market it. Miche presents it as a one-and-done or as a two-in-one product. On my type 4 hair, it most certainly is not because the foam has little to no hold. When I used it, my style looked amazing on day 1, but lasted for, at best, two days; then it was an afro. I would pick any of The Doux mousses/foams over this. I finished the bottle, but would never repurchase.
I have that Tia 4U and I have 4b/4c hair thick hair. I am in love with that conditioner, the slip is crazy with my unbrush. I have melanin hair care travel size line. I have only tried the oil and I really like it. Also the textured foam is my go to for wash and goes. Tbh I love that u did this video. It felt like back in the day when I first went natural. People used to give product recommendations. But that’s how I had became a product junky at one point. 😅😆
Hey! New subscriber here. I love that you’ve included TGIN & The Doux into some of your favorites (I rarely see people talking about these brands, but they’re my personal favorites. Especially TGIN). Hopefully you can do reviews on these 2 next year if you haven’t already.
@@haveyouseenlouispigeon yes, I love it. I have paired with Camille Rose Honey Leave-in conditioner. You can see the moisture on your finger tips when using the hair butter alone
I could go on and on about that As I Am Leave in conditioner. I damn near cried when I first applied it to my hair it was wonderful experience because my hair was locked up due to depression and stress of Covid. I put doing my hair off also for the fact that nothing seemed to work and I felt I was missing the right things in my wash day routine. I’ve tried Mielle shampoo/conditioner in 2024. Still not fully sure where I stand on it though. I like The Rosemary mint feel on my scalp but it is a little drying and has little slip for my hair, so I might just transition to As I Am altogether. If you guys have any other brands similar to my experience with As I Am in the same price range I don’t mind the recs at all. Happy new year🥰🎉
Hi Sister !!!! Happy New Blessing Year to you and your family . Yes you not edge control type me either. I just like simple .. I loved what you giving back to black woman community about the hair type. Thank you so much, see you next year and be safe my sister.. God bless you and your journey . 🤟 ❤
I have quite a few of your favs & some are my favs too! Like the Melanin & Briogio Shampoos , Shea Moisture Deep Conditioner, Curls Blueberry Leave In, Jello Shot Gel & CrazySexyCurl Foam!! Oh & could you please review Bread Beauty products!!??!!
Hi Brittany! I love watching your content. I know that I wouldn't benefit from the products you talk about on your channel because I don't have really tight coils/curls, I still love watching your videos because I have a passion when it comes to making my hair the best it can be at all times, so thats something we can relate to. I do have a video recommendation you could film in 2025 if you would like. There is a brand that Target carries, called Function of Beauty, and they have 4 different hair care lines: -Straight -Wavy -Curly -Coily It would be super cool if you could review the Coily line from Function of Beauty. They have an assortment of products, and they sell booster shots from the same brand that you can add to the products to make the formulations your own. This brand has really affordable products, and maybe some people are on a budget and could benefit from those products. I hope you have an amazing time filming all your future hair care brands in 2025, and I hope you can film this video idea I'm recommending to you, but if not, it's okay. Good luck in 2025 with all your goals, dreams, and relationship with God and Jesus Christ(I'm a Christian as well😁)
I just started going fully natural last year, and this year, I have tried a variety of products. I was wondering if a product designed specifically for 4C hair would work on my 4B hair, especially since my hair is very thick and coarse.
It's never too late for the Ouai review. I agree about the Pattern Edge control, but it's expensive (for an edge control). I've used the Doux texture mousse once, liked it. I'm dying to try Miche. What do you think of Curlsmith?
I need a good hydration shampoo and conditioner as well as a leave-in for 3C hair, and I don't see a lot of products for that type of hair being I have been natural for 8 years. I love your reviews and your hair. I always and still want thick hair to help with growing my own. I used to have mid back length hair until heat damage happened. Any suggestions on how to overcome the heat damage and good products for 3C hair?
Some constructive criticism on your products. The oil needs some fragrance. It has a very bad smell. Also you hair butter is not butter because the first ingredient is water. Other than that I'm a fan and proud of what you've accomplished.
Thank you for the feedback! I’m sorry you don’t like the smell of the oil. I just think that’s a preference as I have so many people saying they like it. When the new products launch there will be a new fragrance so hopefully you enjoy that. As far as the hair butter, you can have a water-based or oil based butter. I decided to go with water-based because I wanted a product that could both provide hydration as well as sealing properties. Hopefully, that makes sense.
I want to try the doux custard but your other video said it's more of a clumping gel. What would you recommend of a shingling curl gel vs a clumpy one?
Many people claim it's stripping; on my hair, it's not. It does not have the type of slip that Aussie Moist has, but I do my first detangle with it in my hair. I think it's pretty moisturizing. However, do note that there are some on this app who think it's clarifying
okay so I got a question, so for me I'm a early teen and my mom have me get my hair done every 4 months I only keep my hair in box braids knotless and I already made my hair products that I made following your Repice like the oil and hair butter thing when do you think is a good time to apply the products
could i technically use products targeted towards black hair types, even tho i have 3b/3c my hair is thick and incredibly coarse, and recently i’ve tried a couple products that are for type 4 hair and so far those are the only products that actually managed to keep my hair soft and moisturized and defined.
I’ve been natural for about 9 years, now I’m on a journey to learn how to properly care for my hair and not just do it. Thanks for the video.😊

The Shea Moisture Manuka and Honey Leave in Conditioner is a MUST. It's just like the deep mositurizer. You have to try it.

I'm so grateful that you make this content! I was just thinking about how all the best 2024 hair products videos were for straight/loose textured hair
Next year you should try reviewing Taliah Waajid’s brand especially their leave in and curl cream!
Im definitely going to add the shea moisture deep conditioner to my curly hair routine recommendations video! Seriously so hydrating!
The Pattern video is also my favorite video. I compared every wash n go to Pattern. It was flawless!
You inspired my natural hair journey. Love how honest you are, thank you!
