Here is the thing. A lot of the runners/coaches are being extremely cerebral about their preparation. What do I mean? They are looking to time their peaks right around trials and during the Olympic month especially. So many aren't as eager to run until the time is right. So yes, your concern is valid but this new approach may yield some interesting results.

Yes. What's your point? There is a mental component to it that he's trying to overcome. This athlete you're referring to was thousandths of a second off from medalling and you're already frustrated. This sort of criticism, which isn't constructive I mind you, is why some athletes couldn't care less for their fellow jamaican supporters because we tend to lack sympathy, hope and encouragement.

T&T, can you do a segment on the former 800 meter runner J'voughnn Blake from Jamaica College. I known he went on to Dartmouth University, i am not hearing anything about him. He as so much potential and I know he's very smart and probably is focusing on his studies.

well lets hope he his able to pull it off with this approach but its now May he should have at least ran 2 races to see where his body is at how will they be able to make all correction in such a short time and most athletes need the competition through the season to be competitive trials begins June 27 but am hoping things will go well for him and all those who we havent seen as yet

I said it before and I will repeat it one last time. World Athletics is a business and its focus is to establish itself like American football 🏈 and basketball 🏀 in the US 🇺🇸 market. For that to happen World Athletics needs a US 🇺🇸 male as the star. A US 🇺🇸 male is needed because male sports in general are 10X bigger and profitable than female sports. That being the facts, World Athletics, JAAA, and the Puma and Nike coaches in Jamaica 🇯🇲 agree on not to train and put forward Jamaican men sprinters that can threaten the US 🇺🇸 male sprinters, particularly Noah Lyles. Seville is no threat.
