I had an ETV done for my hydrocephalus and I ended up with salt wasting syndrome and acute kidney injury stage 2. I was in HDU life threatening. My salt level was 103. I know nothing about either. Risks of it happening again etc. the ETV failed and I now have a VP shunt.
