I honestly dont know but if I were to make an educated guess, I would say Alison Goldfrapp as she featured on a lot of Orbital's realeses around that time.
Thanks. Goldfrapp was indeed on another track on the very EP that this tune is from. But she recorded original vocals for them. My understanding is that the vocals on Times Fly are an actual sample. Someone on Discogs says the sample is "New Age Travellers" but I don't know who/what that is...

I (and many others) have speculated that it might be Phil Collins but the brothers have never publicly said where the sample comes from. One of my favourite tunes of theirs, has all the hallmarks of classic Orbital, backwards vocals, brooding melody, dnb breaks..... its perfect
I got ahold of Insides on CD in the States around the time it came out. It was a double CD. The second one contains this track.
Ashamed to say I'm just hearing this for the first time now, and I call myself a big Orbital fan! How did this pass me by...Awesome :-)
No shame in it. The Times Fly EP seemed to go under the radar a bit.
It was really hard to find in the States in the 90s.
This song was on the original double CD, but was removed a few years or so later on the updated printings.

Remember having this cd , ep ? Had a picture of a watch mechanism on the front cover if i remember correctly. Probably still got it somewhere.
