    Pulling a rifle out of the box towards you, with the muzzle towards you, without know if it is clear, is not a good plan for longevity.

    As someone else mentioned #1 rule of gun safety treat all weapons as if they are loaded unless it was edited out I didn't see a charging handle touched yes the mag is out but when someone stores full placards(one name for mag holders bc setups like those will go on a plate carried or chest rig) I would check anyways but stored like that would make me want to make sure the receiver was cleared.
    As for soft concealable body armor depending on age of the unit the vest are probably going to be expired which will effect resale also brand and NIJ Rating plays a role into resale(also check your local laws though you might not be in a commie state some have restrictions & also usually can't be exported). Don't get me wrong I personally never understood the whole expiration date or how they factor it in(within reasonable time frame I get with sweat & wear it can degrate fibers but I have shot a 5yr old vest & it stopped what it was rated for but it was also name brand vest & beat can vary) and when I worked as a Reserve Leo bc I had to buy mostly everything, when I started I often got expired vests & would run it with a plate till I could afford to buy one. Though depending on dept alot have switched to outer carriers(depending on carrier sometimes panel can be swapped) there are some dept's that don't want to look militarized either way there is 3 things I can tell you for 1. No matter the vest they are hot as hell and worse than swampass(though there are ways to mitigate it) but living is worth it so I will take the heat 2. Nothing is truly bulletproof I have seen vests fail & why I refer to them as bullet resistant 3. Though it may stop a round even with absorbing plates it will hurt & at min leave a bruise but it can break ribs or cause internal injuries, its like a baseball mit the mit absorbs most of the energy but occasionally you can still feel it.
    So I know ammo prices do depend on where you live the store I was at yesterday(a free state in the Northeast) PMC X-TAC 55GR $475 for 1000 but depending on brand 55gr(i didn't see any green tip 62gr) but for a 1000 rds in my area its between $450-600(for run of the mill nothing special 55gr) also .22 i even checked Bass pro they are running $0.05-12/rd the white boxes are match grade @ Bass Pro $22.99, also for reference a bucket of Rem 22LR 1400rds is $120 so saying you have $1k in .22 is little over priced.
    The scopes are spotting scopes and used to check targets at distance also in the hands of a professional it can be used to correct the shooter its why many work in teams you have a spotter & the primary neutralizer, depending on many factors the spotter often is a HOG as well. But there are some spotting scopes that do come apart (some you can attach accessories) though I didn't get a good look at that one it might not be broken. Though they make them usually you will have a spotting scope and range finder or 2 separate devices.
    Definitely good find but its not something that you will find often(unless you only post videos with high value items) though your editor and who ever publishes your content knows how to title videos for the algorithm

      Remington 742's have somewhat of a cult following. The sites that sell this type of pew-pew's usually get $350 for a abused model to one that was heavily engraved with gold inlay, of over $3,000. Average is over $600, but not from me.
      Numerous states prohibit hunting with a semi-automatic, and the Remington 760 pump fir that bill. From a distance, it's difficult to tell the two apart. Pew-pew prices have gone crazy.

    I’ll give you 75$ for the Porter-Cable finish nailer, Brad nailer and staple gun. I’ll give you $1450 for the .22 AR and 556. AR mags and the ammo in the mags $500 for the other loose ammo. I’m also interested in the vests but I didn’t get a good look at them.

    • @nikkolaus
      @nikkolaus 4 месяца назад +7

      If theyre in a storage unit, the vests are probably junk.. Kevlar has an expiration date, because the fibers loosen up over the years and arent as effective at stopping projectiles. You're supposed to replace them at the end of their life expectancy for maximum reliability in protection... but, like many "best by" dates, people ignore them and arent generally harmed in the end... so.. at your own risk!

    • @OohDatsNasty
      @OohDatsNasty 4 месяца назад

      @@nikkolausthey weren’t Kevlar in the sense you’re probably thinking of. Those are stab plates, some have Kevlar weaving incorporated but the Kevlar isn’t a noticeable percentage of the material to make a difference. But stab plates due to heat and folding of the material average life span are 5-10 years, but in a storage unit in that condition I’d say way closer to 5.

      Yeah, because when purchasing a storage unit it’s not like they make you sign a contract stating if you don’t pay and it “foreclose’s” that they can keep the property and sell it off to make their money back. And there are no NFA items like SBR’s, Suppressors, or automatic weapons so there is absolutely no legal issues.

    You can clean and reseason the cast iron pan. Uh might wanna check the lifetime warranty stuff on craftsman stuff certain stuff before sears lost it they weren’t replacing with brand new item they were giving you a remanufactured basically item. Older American made kitchenware stuff lasts a hell of a lot longer and worth more. That bowling ball might be from 70’s or 80’s. Peavey was a good brand.
