- Ever wished there was more drama to your sims lives? Do you like playing with sims who are general terrible people but they have redeeming qualities? If the answer to either of those questions then you might like this video!
I used the Life Tragedies mod to create this story. Retired gang leader Frank Falcone has been trying to get to the bottom of his wife’s disappearance for years. She was kidnapped a few years after they had their son Kevin together, Franks leads up until now have got him nowhere further in his investigation, but he recently discovered that his wife was abducted by aliens and is likely held captive in Sixam.
Frank and his gang buddies need to rob, steal and kidnap other sims to get together enough money to travel through the wormhole and find his wife, will they be able to reunite the family back together?

I read this before I got to that part of the video and I was kinda thinking that the context would be that the wife had intentionally run away and settled down with an alien who was cooking dinner when her husband (or I guess ex-husband in this hypothetical) came in.
If you want the Klepto trait to work and be useful, your Sim needs to be high level in Mischief. Otherwise all you can swipe are small objects such as lamps.
My sim snatched an entire furniture set and I didn't notice until I checked my inventory.
You also need to make sure no sim catches you stealing or it won't work.
"If you snitch you get a stitch"- we say "snitches get stitches" 😂
I do find myself talking to my sims like Whiny Brit! Then looking up and seeing my son and Partner looking at me like I've lost my mind! All I say is " it's OK, I'm doing a Whiny Brit" I still look like I've lost my mind.

Klepto=mischief level. My sim is at level 8 and can finally take computers, tv's and couches. But she still can't take the tea/coffee maker I wanted lmao. also don't let others see you otherwise you won't be able to steal.

honestly, the funniest plot twist i could think of was what if frank died while trying to build the rocket and the kid would've had to avenge his mom's kidnapping and dad's death while being raised by the gang, woulda been an adventure

You can’t steal expensive objects at first. You have to start with small things. I’m pretty sure it’s a hidden skill.

Sometimes it won't let you swipe if they're around people. *I think* even if the item is in another room it goes by what room your Sim is in at the time but I'm not 100% on that.

I think the reason you could not use the trait is becuze your on someone elses plot I usally just go on vacation in game and steal there
