It doesn't really make sense sure as a title fight it does but that would nullify the bmf belt I think they will give ilia new blood like movsar they will probably try and get a super fight for max with the winner of Chandler McGregor and the UFC hopes that would be McGregor so they can do the rematch of max and Conor for the bmf. If max fights ilia and loses it then that fight could never happen. Max has also moved to lightweight where he is now ranked after beating Gaethje why would he move back down...
