The Robot cow shed is worth it in my opinion. Don't have to buy a mixing trailer, they can be dear for the big ones. It is easier to make, saves time in Real life. If you can afford cows on that scale it is a time saver. The problem with milk is you can quickly run out of places to sell your milk in a production line.. there are places that you sell unlimited milk but you production line for say the bakery maxes out at 7000 litres, that's a small cow shed can keep up with that easily. They do produce large amounts of slurry and manure but it soon disappears when spreading it on a decent size field , especially if double dosing. You can also take it to the bio plant and sell it. I find that easier than messing around trying to spread it, just use a 42m sprayer. What most if not all content creators don't seem to do is compare the time it takes to do things in there videos. Take for example sugar beet great profit from a field but the the time it takes to harvest a field is massive compared to corn for example. What would make you stand out from the rest is if you compare real life time comparisons in your videos. Thanks for a Good video. Just my opinions
Great video! Likes and subbed! So do I add straw to my TMR for best milk production or give them TMR and throw in some straw here and there? Thank you!
That’s gonna depend on your pen and having room for new animals. When ever you start getting full sell enough so you can maintain new ones. Or start thinking about adding more pens
@@theresawinter3453 36 months is the optimum time to sell the cattle at the best price. the price does not go down too much at 48 months so you can get a few more cattle out of the older ones
Can't understand the 'great video' comments; most FS22 players CAN and DO read the tool tips, so trying to get milk from a milk-less cow is pointless to say the least. Probably should have gone in a different tangent on that one. Imagine how different, and shorter, this video would have been if you used an Excel type spreadsheet to actually track what you were trying to measure. Trying to discern the valuable information out of this is comparable to a dentist visit - you'd like the final outcome but bear through the prolonging grief.
@@johnboy_gaming Definitely not the only one with this perspective - just passing along comments as you explicitly said to do in your video. Weeds are weeds, right?

Thanks man one day
Keep up the good work friend. You're doing well. Great video, with great information.

Give them straw bedding for milk production and straw in food but you can make tmr anyway you want
Straw is just to make manure.
It also effects milk production I tested it
straw is a cheap filler for TMR
Do baby calf’s produce milk ??? I got 480 2 months old no milk only slurry on big flats Texas
No not till they have their first calf. It’s different on some maps. Normally they don’t till they are adults.
Beef Cattle are easy all the need is hay and time to mature and be sold for 2500-3000 a piece while bought for 300 a piece
That’s true I did beef cattle on Old Stream Farm. But you get nothing out of them. There just kinda boring
@@johnboy_gaming the enable you to focus on other things when playing solo and without workers
@@johnboy_gaming making Hay requires less exspensive equipment then TMR so its also a good option for those just starting
That is a good point. But sheep you can do the same thing and make more money and they reproduce fast to max out production.
@@johnboy_gaming Beef Cattle are not about reproduction you buy cheap unwanted young bulls feed them and sell them when the ready for slaughter
What age should you get rid of Angus cows
That’s gonna depend on your pen and having room for new animals. When ever you start getting full sell enough so you can maintain new ones. Or start thinking about adding more pens

I sell them but depends on how many livestock you can maintain
The robot is cheaper than a big mixer ..... So if have alot of cows it could be worth it not to have to mix a ton up money and time wise
True
No,too expensive and confusing.

All feedback is good feedback. Honestly I appreciate it. I’m always trying to do better.
