    Siesta Key is an area right in Sarasota, Florida. It's a popular vacation spot and one of the best beaches in the U.S. So naturally, we had to check it out. Here are the resturants we stopped in.

      @@TheDetourDuo How about that. What a small world. Glad to hear from you. I grew up in Hartford, then my parents bought a house in Bloomfield. Years later, I moved to East Hartford, then retired and moved to Tampa in 2018. It took some time getting used to a new state and new city, but I met some very nice people and became friends with them. So far, life has turned out quite nice for me here in Tampa. (Still having trouble matching colors between cameras). However, it really started to click a lot better for me when I discovered phantom luts for the sony. I know that sounds like an ad, but there really are the best luts I've ever used. Just follow the instructions for how to set your zebras and you're golden. let me see if I have a link

    I enjoyed your video. it's such a beautiful area. Do you know how often there is a red tide? I am wondering if it could be a deterrent from living/buying in the area. We are considering moving to Florida and weighing between the east and west coast. I am wondering if the red tide allergy affects go beyond the beach? Thanks.🙂

    • @TheDetourDuo
      @TheDetourDuo  Год назад +1

      Thank you. red tide is usually once or twice a year. typically August to December but this year's bloom was really late. Gulf side of Florida is definitely better if you ask us, and worth dealing with red tide once a year. It mostly hits from Clearwater and Sanibel Island. Farther inland isn't as bad for allergies.
