- Meet MUSHU, an adorable little duck that is having a problem balancing. She was found abandoned in Central Park, so she's a city duck living the good life at Tamerlane Sanctuary. She has been doing her best for a while, lets see if a little adjustment can help her out!

The leading organization, in my opinion, that has Veterinarians and Chiropractors that become Animal Chiropractors is the Animal Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) They have a website with a "Find a Doctor" tab/database: www.animalchir...
This a good resource for all that are looking for a well trained doctor near them.

Mushu is doing great ❤ thank you Dr. Doug! She still loses her balance daily but has greatly improved from falling over and needing her wheelchair- she even walked up hill today without falling once ❤❤❤swimming is always the best therapy for water fowl and thats her time to always shine 💫💫💫💫
Yay! ❤ Go Mushu, go!
Have you had her checked for an inner ear problem(infection or water in the inner ear)? Sometimes that can lead to balance issues. Also, Idiopathic Vestibular Disease: which can signal an immune disease andaffecting the unique antigens presented by the vestibular nerve. Vets often use diphenhydramine . Diphenhydramine is a centrally active anticholinergic, antihistamine which helps reduce vertigo and nausea. For inner ear disease, the clinical signs caused by these diseases are similar, indicating the location of the disease rather than the specific cause. These signs are those of peripheral vestibular dysfunction, including head tilt, nystagmus, circling and imbalance. On the other hand, since the diseases which cause inner ear disease are usually slower in evolution, these signs are generally less severe than with idiopathic vestibular disease. The most common cause of inner ear disease in all species is secondary in inner ear infection.

Looks like she have vertigo, that is inner ear balance organ malfunction, for humans its easily to "fix", just need to do some "rolls" ;) Wonder if those works for ducks too. I have huge vertigo problems sometimes, so I kinda know how she feels. Hope she is doing better now.
Yes! I saw at end of video she was much more centered in her body with more confidence. Am glad to hear that she's doing well!
Duck: “that guy really…quacked me up”.
working on birds is ultra impressive
*You're a gift to the animal world.* A Master at this beautiful blend of science and art. PLEASE find a way to get some Apprentices to follow you to learn from you on your travels and treatments. SO important to learn this with the eyes, hands and heart. The world needs more gifted hands like yours. 🐎🦄🐆🐶
Wow Doc,the poor Guy was hurting😢.
You are so special I hope you know how many people and Animals you help to be mobile again.
That was a heck of a crack!
Bless your heart❤ Mushu.

Excellent idea…I hope he sees this.❤
Thanks Jo Jo! I'm trying!

Thank you so much! ❤️
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen:11 Gee that must have been a 5.0 on the quack rictor scale!! 😮 He must be feeling So much better!! God bless you!!
Animal Quacker. As much as i like to see humans being adjusted, i think i like to see animals adjusted even more.
Dr. Doug always shows his patients a wonderful......❤
🙏🏻❤️
Beautifully marked duck. Never seen one like that.
Yes she really is beautiful., with beautiful marking. Thanks for sharing degsbabe.
I love these videos. This is the best thing on RUclips
In a simplistic way that's how all our lives are.. we all fall and get back up.
She is like the duck version of Nugget. Doc, do you think she might have vertigo or a brain injury or neurological disorder? I’m amazed at how trusting Mushu (sp?) was during her adjustment. The hips don’t lie either. Crazy loud pop on that 😳 Mushu shook out too. Fun to see you work on Mushu. Nice video. ❤
I was thinking the same thing 😂
Hi Jeff, yes, I think it was the same thing as Nugget. Mushu was probably kicked in the spine and head.
so Mushu is a survivor 🙏😭
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillenHow awful!!! How can people be so cruel? 😣😫🤬
Give us an update on Mushu in a few weeks.
Pretty little duck. It looks like you helped her a little bit as she was walking away. I'm glad to see she is living in a great caring home where she will get lots of love!
Yes, thanks Jana! She is loved and cared for at Tamerlaine.
You are such a gift to all these animals that you help. I love the way you relate to them.
Dang! I heard that pop on the video! Maybe that will help Mushu some. Looks like a beautiful place to be. Take care!
Thank you Racheal, a wonderful place, the pop was so loud for such a small duck! 😅
I didn’t know that people dumped ducks in Central Park-imagine the terror they must experience!
Mushu is a very friendly duck-you’re wonderful to help all of these sweet animals!🥰
It is so sad, glad they could help Mushu!
I would be very interested to see if Mushu continues improving over the next week from this treatment. Great job, Dr. Doug. 🌈💜🇺🇸
Thank you Diane for sharing.
Aww, all the love for little Mushu! So nice, that you got her hip back again, Doc. And at least she is like painfree, seen from her bones side. And her bones are like functioning much better now. How she developes with her brain and her vertigo, we will see, right? And what a beautiful place there is.😍
@@niczuleger5287 Servus Nic, oh, so sad to hear about your current health concerns! I hope you will be better soon! 🙌🙏🌞
Thank you for asking me about myself!🌞🙋 I'm doing really good. It's a really challenging time for me, but so good and interesting. Probably the most livefull and heartfull time of all my life so far!😍
Greetings to beautiful Seal too!🙋
Hi Danka and Nic, thanks for being here. You are both so dear to me!
Doc
Thank you, Doc for your compassion and I loved the kiss in the end, I was waiting for it.
She's walking much better Doctor!!! Well done! Give her time to adjust.
Mushu is such a beautiful duck!
It's amazing all the things I've learn from watching you Dr. Doug. I never learned in my years of being in the animal kingdom as I have watching you which included me being a Vet. Tech. But it was on small animals not farm animals I worked around and not sure if that's why. Thanks for your passionate and gentle loving hands. I pray they and your body never stop working so you have a long life of giving back. Blessings! Sherry
That’s a great gift you have Doc. Thanks for helping all of these animals.
Aww what an adorable little sweetheart! I love ducks ❤ Those neck cracks phew. I think the ducko enjoyed the cheek scritches.
All birds love the cheek rub
Love it.
Hope she gets better
Me too!
Mushu is so cute, a pretty girl. I adore all the wobbly babies. Well done Dr D ❤
Yes, I liked her a lot!

Mushu definitely looks like she's happier and stronger in the right leg after being adjusted. Bless the people who work at the rehab farm, and so glad that you share your gift with us to watch your talent and care of all animals 🤗

What a sweet little duck ❤ I hope Mushu’s balance improves over time.
6:42 you can tell that Dr. Doug wasn’t expecting that at all😂Love watching you videos and how you help these animals. I have a cat that showed up pregnant and We saved her/found homes for the babies but I can tell her back is all tense and out of whack. I KNOW she would benefit from someone like you. Hope that you and yours have a blessed one along with everyone else watching 🙏Appreciate you so very much, Dr. Doug!!
Awww thank you so much Salt storm for the nice words, thanks also for sharing your story, I appreciate it.
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen Thank you so much for sharing your gift with the world! Your demeanor and attitude is such an inspiration! Hope that you and yours have a blessed one, Dr. Doug💯🙏
“Mushu the Falling Ducklet”
Should be a book 📕
Poor little thing. Its not that she falls its that she gets back up.
Poor Mushu😞Ducks are so sweet personalities. At least she is safe in Tamerlaine and she had always the chance to get treated by you Dr. Willen. She was clicking in every trigger point. I would love an update on how Mushu is doing....
We will see when I go back to Tammerlaine! Thanks V.
God bless Mushu and your work
What a wonderful service.
Thanks Connie.
May God Bless You Always Dr.Doug. Beautiful Duck!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Those little neck cracks were adorable🥰
Haha, weren't they??
Dr. D…what a lovely spot for Mushu to live at and I got a bit dizzy just watching this one but hope there’s some relief for her 🙂🙏🏼👏🏼🦆🪿
Sorry you got dizzy Judy! Thank you for watching this one.
Mushu! Way to go! I think you will be off and running in no time. Way to go Dr. Doug!
Thanks Ibird!
This little duck has more audible pops than some of the horses!!! Poor baby. She loved her treatment
I really think she did appreciate it! Thanks Jazzyphae.
I love ducks! Mushu is amazing!❤
What a nice man love watching you fix the animals they can't speak to say what's wrong with them so very lucky to have you to know
That was a huge surprise for me. It seems Mushu is on her way. Thank you Dr. Doug for helping her.
You’re welcome Nancy
Love the new intro. ❤ healing thoughts little duck❤
We have a lot of new videos coming soon!
Aww what a beautiful place. This would be my dream come true place. Beautiful land and helping animals ❤. No wonder you were tired when you were working on the donkey. 250 or so animals wow. Mushu kinda has the same issues that Nugget has. Thanks to the wonderful and caring people who help all the animals and thanks to you Dr Doug for all you do ❤.
It really is, I was so lucky to work there! Thank you Beth!
These animals have a better life than 80% of the people…
I am amazed at the perseverance animals have to live the best life they can no matter their disabilities.
Very well said!
She's a lovely duck. You're so gifted. And a lovely woman at the sanctuary.
Aww thanks Cyndi for the nice words
I've been in a very dark place emotionally this week, to the point that when I even try to take a walk in the beautiful nature I live amidst and see all the cute little animals running about, all I can think of is how they're all basically homeless and in constant fear for their lives and will probably each die a brutal death fairly soon, and of course nobody cares about that, it's just "the circle of life", even humans suffering from poverty and violence don't get the care from other humans that they need, so who's going to care about animals.
So, seeing you folks caring for animals as valued moral patients in themselves deserving of care for their own sake, toward no further instrumental need, is really quite uplifting. I'd like to fantasize about a beautiful future where not only all humans but every creature is lovingly cared for like you do for these lucky few.
Awww wow! Your comment is amazing Pfhorrest and touches me deeply! The world wouldn’t be what it is if it was possible. I‘m sorry you‘re feeling down, but behind the clouds, the sun is always shining. Thank you for being you.🙏🏻
Dr. Doug
I love the new intro, especially the kiss at the end. It’s a beautiful sanctuary there.
Occipital lift on a duck is a first. I little better at the end Mushu, hope you continue to improve & life gets a little easier.
Nic, Jeff I don’t know who was first😂 Maybe we were all waiting in case!
Hi Vaga!! I hope you are doing well. Have a great week!
Hi Vaga!
Hi Dellzy, Hi Nic, good to see you both. Hope all is well with you too & you’re enjoying the summer.
@@vagabond5493 hot in here!🥵
Glad you enjoyed it, Vaga! I'm glad you like the new intro. We had fun with it. I hope you are doing well, too. I'm good. Had a tough week with a friend in the hospital, (Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital) and a family member in a different hospital too.
Just love you and love what you do. THANK❤ YOU
Thank you Dr. Doug for taking care of all these animals, big and small. You can tell the animals know you are there to help them. Plus the way some of them "listen" to you when you talk to them you know there's a connection, a silent understanding. A true Dr. Doolittle!
You are so kind, glad you enjoyed this video!
Great Job! I love animals and the way you are able to help them! Greatings from Austria!
Doc!! You Quack me up!!! LOL I heard everyone of those clicks!! She definitely needed that!! I would never had guessed that a duck could be adjusted!! That's amazing!! It sure seemed like she was doing a ducks version of a horse shaking it out and licking and chewing... That's impressive!! Great job!! 😀😀😀

I think all kinds of people would watch this on TV. I wish I had enough money to produce a show for you. You should have a tv show, seriously.
Maybe one day!
Seeing Mushu was awesome. She is like me in that she can walk and loses her balance, but keeps DUCKING ON ❤💜🙂😉 I wish I could meet you...
Awww so sorry to hear, if you’re ever in NYC, stop by. Thank you Audrey.
Very sweet. Thank you!! 💜🪻🌻
@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen Please don't be sorry for me. I have had this balance thing my entire life 💗🌻😉🤣
She's very cute 😍
My best boy Chewie needs someone like you!!! He is the sweet and dopey Bull Mastiff that hangs his front left leg after playing and after waking up from his naps. He will spring around the yard playing just fine but when he’s done, he goes back to hopping. I took him to the vet, they had to put him to sleep because the vet couldn’t get him to bend his front leg. he was just too strong. They took 3 X-rays and couldn’t find anything wrong. I don’t want him to have surgery if he doesn’t need it. What earth could be wrong with him? I feel like if he were to get an adjustment, he’d be better! How does someone book an appointment with you, Doc??
Please go to my website, there you can find all the info you will need.

What a lucky duck for ending up in a beautiful place to call home with people who would think to call Dr. Doug to see if he could help her. I almost wish I was her. Good luck to Mushu on her road to recovery.
Aww thank you for the encouraging words Naomi.
What a beautifully loved duck and what an amazing healer! This world needs more of this 🙏❤️💥💯🦆🤙
Thank you!
Thank you for what you do❤
No problem 😊
Poor Mushu. I felt the relief in those cracks. Bless her to keep on waddling despite the fact that she has balancing issues. Wish they made tiny ducky walkers for ducks like her. ❤🦆🌞
That would be cute!
Dr Doug is the best holistic animal chiropractor, i have ever seen in action the way our animal friends trust and interact with him says a lot of his compassionate and professional input it's a real joy to watch these actions on the most fragile of our animals
Awww, thank you!
Such an improvement! You have magic hands!
I am so grateful that Dr. Doug cares for all of the animals. Every time I watch one of these videos I'm amazed. Oh, and I also want to meet Dr. Doug and give him a huge hug. :)

Such a pleasure to watch. Takes me away to a simpler time on my uncles farm in Kentucky
You did very well beautiful mushu ❤.
Thank you so much 🤗
Mushu is a pretty girl. That hip was a really good spot. She does seem to be walking (waddling) better. Several people compared her to Nugget ,so true. And just as adorable. Thank you for sharing 😊
Hi Babsi! I thought mushu was a he!🙈hope you had a nice weekend!
Yes she reminded me as well of Nugget in her way to move. Not sure if we can cure that. Thanks B. for connecting.
Hi Nic 😊
Sweet little duck 🦆She seems improved after her adjustment. You're the best, Dr Willen. You're the G.O.A.T 🐐❤
The GOAT with the duck! Haha! Thanks for sharing MS.
What a precious duck. ❤

You’re welcome Black!
Thankyou Dr Doug
Mushu is beautiful!
Mushu is a cutie. I hope he gets some improvement on his balance. Great job as always Doc.
I don’t know if we will be able to improve that, not sure. I‘ll try my best to help and take pain away, she seemed to appreciate it afterwards. Thanks for sharing Damaris.
I'm just feeling since Mushu couldn't get a "proper" shake out, maybe a little longer integration time, will yield more stability. Sending good vibes to your happy little quacker, Doc. Looking forward to more videos from this visit!
Thanks for watching!
So sweet. Hopefully they will figure this out.
I think she got some neurological damages, no sure she will completely recover. Thanks Karen.
Gorgeous duck and Dr. Doug is clearly an Earth Angel!
