the new gun sounds are better than the old ones but it misses some extra punch especialy when compared to gun sounds from WoT PC. In addition, there is no sound for loading a shell into the breach. WG should have copied WoT PC gun sounds into WoT Blitz. Less effort, even better outcome.
WG said that they cannot put the same sounds on WoTB (the ones from WoT PC to WoTB that’s what I mean). But modders can. Surprised that ppl doing mod without working for money/WG, could do a better job than the actual developers of WoTB. Because there’s a lot of mods for gun sounds, done by modders xD
When tanks like 60TP, Yoh or Ho-Ri got released of course they were performing great (they were new in the game and people didn't really know how to counter them) and they still are, but those are GOOD tanks, not BROKEN, now players can actually find ways to fight against them because they discovered their weaknesses. But the Type 71 is another story: even now, after 2 months since its release, it is very hard to counter and nothing has really changed in finding new weaknesses. It is the same broken armor, that lower plate as small as a needle as its one of the only frontal weakspots and the dumb turret and upper plate. Like wtf? Shouldn't Maus have better armor than the Type since it is so heavy and slow (also taking into consideration that you can go through Maus' upper plate and turret like butter using gold shells, and through Type's not really)
I think its beacuse when they adding new tanks they make it extremely goood then other X tanks meaning Wargaming wants player to Research the newest (better X) so they keep playing i guess idk. 😅😅
Just got the ho ri type 3 a few days ago, holy crap, this makes the badger not red anymore, its fast, trollish armor, 2 sec aim, high pen, it feels versatile
I prefer to have a free OP tank, with a technological tree, rather than a premium one, where I have to spend 25000 gold. In this way only those who spend can have the OP tank, usually the incapable people who do not even know how to use the various types of tanks in play buy it ...

The e5 still has a purpose man still can go hull down and not be as weak as a type its faster than a type on top speed has reactive armor has about the same dpm as a type has the same reverse speed almost just minus the traverse speed and you have a type with a slightly bigger lower plate and a slower reverse speed🥱

Type71 is good "in the right hand", just like all the other tanks. I don't think they need to nerf it, because it already have a lot of weak spots and you can penetrate those spots even with a light tank, and it's never a problem to penetrate it with premium shells. Really don't think it's a imbalance tank in the game

And it's very difficult to penetrate weak points with normal shells due to the brutal traverse speed. So I think a nerf is really necessary.
@@quijanobricenoeduardoemman4904 but you also have to know, there is two weak spots on the left and right of type71's hull, and you can penetrate it even with 240 pen ap shell. Yea it requires your aiming skill but you can practice for that. That two weak spots is a big holdback for me on type71

If he didn't directly face at you, you can even hesh that part with 183, 4202, or centurion7/1. If he face hug you, try to detrack it and go around. Obj268/4 has a really bad aim, i think it's even worse than t30, so players in it need to fight in the frontline. That's already a big drawback for it
I don't agree with that Type 71 is dominating the battle field, but i do agree why am i still here? before i can get in matches with normal tanks, everyone is tech tree and everyone is on a grind of playing their favourit tank. Now i play games were there are only 1 or 2 tech tree. Tanks with fancy legendary camo, and tanks that just makes sence.
71 cheeks are easy to pen with premo or high caliber guns Ap rounds butter through them if using calibrated shells , if you are bouncing try shooting turrett ring or just use ho ri lol . I im low key greedy to use premo but once i switch to premo most 71 dont peak me anymore . But again not every shot with premo will pen. Most of us use gun rammer for high damage but now i feel more comfortable with using calibrated shells
60tp bitch slaps the type 71. Just stick that massive gun in its face so he shoots your gun then slap him through the cheeks and if you can't do that then go hull down since 60tp is a much better hull down tank
Completely disagree to nerf the Type 71. It has no huge alpha damage, weak penetration values, and mediocre dpm. It does not have a good gun, and yet they want to nerf the armor? If this nerf happens it will be similar to an E5.

Type 71 is fine rn as is if you remove the suspension and just give it the gun depression The suspension allows you to take your armor profile and angle it and wiggle to find ridiculous angles and troll bounces
Type 71 and Type 68 have Major Flaws in design. And it’s the Suspension Equipment. Like literally. If you don’t equip that, Type 71 and 68 were just very balanced. But WG being WG, they will add those. And what WG nerf is on the tank itself instead of the Equipment. Equipment give too much buff on Type 71. I think it shouldn’t make it also affect terrain resistance, if you remove those, terverse speed will be a lot slower. Terrain Resistance is why Type 71 is insanely mobile. WG can remove terrain resist and the tank will have more balance terverse. Or remove the equipment entirely and replace with something oh IDK maybe Turbo Charger? Work’s similar to Gear Oil. Or maybe reactive armor, where it decrease the incoming damage by 5% makes Type 71 a bit tanky, or maybe spare tracks, +50% track repair speed. It means Type 71 will have 3s of track repair without using repair consumables. Or Wet ammorack, completely eliminates ammo damage and Ammorack totally. Trade with more gun depression. To balance this factor, makes Type 71 easier to get ammo damage, maybe same level as 60TP. So player now have to choose. Gun Depression or Immune to ammoracks. Or replace gun depression one to Body suit armor, makes Crews immune to any injuries. After changes that we can buff Type 71 back to its usual Test stats where it has 120mm side armor with 40km/h max speed.
Its just pointless to play tier 10-9 with that thing around. I'm 57.95% on NA server; but even brainless 50% players with that thing can turn around a match because its so effing broken. Not to mention playing ratings which are usually a combination of hulldown meta (Kran, Type 71, stb-1) and bs collectors. At least most of them can be worked around, but type 71 its just ... killing the fun basically
The type 71 can keep its armour but the problem is the mobility maybe they can nerf it’s power to weight make it bad or keep the power to weight and nerf the top speed make it noo to versatile

To me it is clear: money. The Japanese tech tree is relatively new and you must spend a lot of resources and quickly to get that, curiously "end of the branch", expensive tank before it is get nerfed and here we go again with another new tech tree. This is the game.
Lol cope. Its a free line and 2 months is more than enough time to get it for free. Wg was clearly going for a heavy yolowagon with this release, the problem is that the lower plate is too small and track wheels have reinforced armour.

I stopped playing tier X heavies until they nerf it, that tank even bounces IS-4/E5 prammo. The same reason I stopped playing lights when the LT100 entered the game, it was pointless to even try to fight the thing.
the only heavy im playing is the Type 71 bcs it had the true heavy tank armor, impenetrable in front and you can build a tank to fast attacks or hulldown, the turret is meh and hatch is a weak spot, VERY poor DPM yeah the true heavy

The concept you have better maneuverability forward and backing up than the type you have better haul down capabilities you have more damage Per minute you have more dpm an insanely accurate gun statistically more side armor due to the angling I can go on and on
And the armor profile is weak on the type in a face hug you can pen the upper plate the turret ring the cheeks etc. when it goes hull down the “turret cheeks” the massive hatch even the turret ring on flat/hulldown just hit the bottom of the gun mantlet most shells will ricochet down into the turret ring if you do it correctly. On flat you can pen everything with prem with all t10 heavies even the IS7 can do it. Even with standard most tier 10 heavies will pen the little side plates and the lower plate on flat ground.
Q:what's the point of playing any other tier 10 but type71? A:well,Type 71 can't do 900 average damage in one shot,and got the satisfaction of hit the Hesh
Hi Pantouf I kept track of the tank's statistics on armor inspector, and no they totally NOT nerfed It before releasing it. I heard some testers being angry to wg when they released It like this, now i played It and i can say i can guess why they were so angry.
here what i want to nerf on the thing: 1 nerf the armor(not all the armor),making the cupola weaker and once pen will alway damage the tank instead of the module it self,making there a weak spot on the turret front like how they did on the stb1,making the side skirt and side armor thinner and less like a maus frontal plate 2 removing the special equipment and just give it straight up a 8 degree gun depression 3 nerfing the mobility of the tank,reducing top speed down to 35 and nerfing the engine hp down to 900 but keep the traverse the armor wont become like e75 armor,trust me the armor will still be OP since im only nerfing the side,cupola and the turret underside cheek mobility wont be bad since it mobility originally already decent enough for u to reach any where on the map i do notice the gun on the tank is pretty shitty so might as well just decrease the dispersion down to 0.305 max with the decrease dispers thingy,pen and other thing make the gun balanced pretty much
Yeah, bcs type 71 is mbt that still use today by JSDF (japanese army). Type 71 is broken bcs it has mt size, good mobility, broken armor and good dpm combine all together
I've seen the new tds in testing and they look too busted, completely red all over the front of the tank, hope it doesn't get in the game in that state
There a lot of useless tanks in T10 imo. Maus, 215b/183, Wz113/G ft (controversial) - no GD so cannot utilise dpm and armour is weirdly crap, obj.140, 100LT, E100 (inferior 60tp), E4, E5, Vk72, B-C (why play it over progetto/TVP?)
Bc has more dpm and with shell reload boost it gives 930 damage in under 4 secs and hides with it's amazing camo value also better mobility, gun handling and view range .also it has a very small profile with kinda trollish upperplate under certain angles. The only downside is the gun dep . Otherwise it's a amazing tank
@@deadlymemes2269 I think the TVP and Progetto are straight up superior. The TVP has better damage output (1300) with 4 shells which doesn't seem like it makes a huge difference but it does. It really allows you to run in and take out 4 players whilst still being forgiving as it has the extra shell. Only thing better about the B-C is it's size and camo (not that useful until end game). The B-C sucks in 1v1s which E50M and wz121 force you into where you get rammed and HE'd. I do not think the B-C really has a place in the meta. TVP is better at burst, Progetto is more diverse, Leo is a better sniper, E50M is a better brawler, Vickers is a better light tank. I'm not saying its bad but I have always seen B-C's as prey and taken them out easily since they are not fast enough to get away from other mediums. I think it needs a speed buff so it can get in and out without losing all its hp.
tbh they should nerf upper plate and lower plate. that’s all i want. and i’m a type 71 player. the cheeks are so troll if u try to hit it. they should give back the speed and do the nerf i suggest, or nerf the cheeks as well.
Pantouf, I think I know the reason it bouncr at 2:12... If you look closely it has a slight red in it which had a high chance of bounce, but then turret angle it at even more vulnerable angle it decrease its probability of bounce and increase its penetration probability but a chance of bounce is NOT ZERO so it can happen
Seeing the replays of 71... I don't find this tank exciting to play. Yeah it is strong, but I prefer high alpha, mobility or clipping potential. Not going to grind this line any time soon.

I actually don't play tier X or IX anymore except when I'm grinding up a tree... I have 12 tech tree tier X and I haven't even played half of them even once... It's just not enjoyable anymore imo. I'd rather stick to tier VIII and make a few more credits with premium tanks along the way.
I dont think that you have to play tris tank, for example for me, e100 is good tank, I love 640 dmg per shot, or yoh, t57... I think we have bigger problems like obj 268/4
gun sounds suck without headphones but sound great with although some of the larger caliber guns could def use some more oomf to them but we should just have pure good sounds with or without headphones /:

Yeah i agree most ppl forget calibrated shell exist. And they also forget that TD exist for this job. I think its harder to deal with E100 compare type 71.
Just remove the armor on the hull make it like fv215b ineffective and get it's max speed to 33-34 and maybe increase reload with 1 - 1.3 seconds. Shouldn't be a problem anymore and relay on teamwork.

66k free xp is not much tbh, I would wait for the Italian TD’s because they seem to be easier to play based on what we know so far. Just make sure to not spend the Free XP on anything other than tank modules.
I have faced the new italian T10 "Minotauro" and even though it is still in testing and it can change, I couldn't pen that thing frontally with my Concept 1B, same as the Type 71, so I would definetly wait for the new italian td's if you want to be in the 1st line
Some of you in this comment section are speaking as if the Type 71 is invincible, it's not.... at all. The type's best feature is it's armor, that's its only slightly above average stat. The gun handling is mid, the dpm is mid, the mobility is mid without the equipment. This tank is however, easy play like most heavily armored tanks in the game, with little knowledge of hulldown and sidescrape you can make the armor work. I would recommend to everyone complaining about this tank being unbalanced to go into armor inspector and find the weakpoints.
Its a free tank so grind yourself one instead of complaining! What's the point? there is the Concept 1B for ppl to cry about! Sure this new tank is strong but countering it is a feasible task
Funny that many people crying about FREE op tanks and then stop playing them once WG nerfed them to the dirt. Take the Emil 1 for example, people used to whine about how op the tank was and there was teams filled with them. Now after the nerf the tank is harder to find than a Siberian tiger.

I don't really see the problem of Type 71. Yes it has good armor profile but from other hand gun is very average and mobility is ok. Good tank but nothing op and what is most important everybody can play it. It's better to have good and strong tanks in game that everyone can play than all the same average and mediocre.

They were spammed in comp all the time before the type existed. both tanks have bad accuracy and not necessarily the best dpm, but they have great armour and that's what mattered.
Uninstalled about 2 weeks ago. I had a good winrate and good avg damage. Just got boring. Got tired of all the nub players at tier 10 and all the mundane events. Tank Company is coming out soon.

The e5 still has a purpose man still can go hull down and not be as weak as a type its faster than a type on top speed has reactive armor has about the same dpm as a type has the same reverse speed almost just minus the traverse speed and you have a type with a slightly bigger lower plate and a slower reverse speed🥱

Let’s take a look at the evidence then as it stands .You can buy the concept 1B by chance or design in a crate etc add it could be a small fortune however the the type 71 is in the tech tree ,for a relative smaller outlay

Type71 is good "in the right hand", just like all the other tanks. I don't think they need to nerf it, because it already have a lot of weak spots and you can penetrate those spots even with a light tank, and it's never a problem to penetrate it with premium shells. Really don't think it's a imbalance tank in the game
You said "it's never a problem to penetrate it with premium shells", meaning the only safe way you can penetrate a type 71 is by using gold, and a high penetration one, because I'm pretty sure an is7 won't penetrate it like a type 71 could with its premium shells. And it's very difficult to penetrate weak points with normal shells due to the brutal traverse speed. So I think a nerf is really necessary.

If he didn't directly face at you, you can even hesh that part with 183, 4202, or centurion7/1. If he face hug you, try to detrack it and go around. Obj268/4 has a really bad aim, i think it's even worse than t30, so players in it need to fight in the frontline. That's already a big drawback for it
I don't agree with that Type 71 is dominating the battle field, but i do agree why am i still here? before i can get in matches with normal tanks, everyone is tech tree and everyone is on a grind of playing their favourit tank. Now i play games were there are only 1 or 2 tech tree. Tanks with fancy legendary camo, and tanks that just makes sence.
71 cheeks are easy to pen with premo or high caliber guns Ap rounds butter through them if using calibrated shells , if you are bouncing try shooting turrett ring or just use ho ri lol . I im low key greedy to use premo but once i switch to premo most 71 dont peak me anymore . But again not every shot with premo will pen. Most of us use gun rammer for high damage but now i feel more comfortable with using calibrated shells
60tp bitch slaps the type 71. Just stick that massive gun in its face so he shoots your gun then slap him through the cheeks and if you can't do that then go hull down since 60tp is a much better hull down tank

Type 71 is fine rn as is if you remove the suspension and just give it the gun depression
The suspension allows you to take your armor profile and angle it and wiggle to find ridiculous angles and troll bounces
Type 71 and Type 68 have Major Flaws in design. And it’s the Suspension Equipment. Like literally. If you don’t equip that, Type 71 and 68 were just very balanced. But WG being WG, they will add those. And what WG nerf is on the tank itself instead of the Equipment. Equipment give too much buff on Type 71. I think it shouldn’t make it also affect terrain resistance, if you remove those, terverse speed will be a lot slower. Terrain Resistance is why Type 71 is insanely mobile. WG can remove terrain resist and the tank will have more balance terverse. Or remove the equipment entirely and replace with something oh IDK maybe Turbo Charger? Work’s similar to Gear Oil. Or maybe reactive armor, where it decrease the incoming damage by 5% makes Type 71 a bit tanky, or maybe spare tracks, +50% track repair speed. It means Type 71 will have 3s of track repair without using repair consumables. Or Wet ammorack, completely eliminates ammo damage and Ammorack totally. Trade with more gun depression. To balance this factor, makes Type 71 easier to get ammo damage, maybe same level as 60TP. So player now have to choose. Gun Depression or Immune to ammoracks. Or replace gun depression one to Body suit armor, makes Crews immune to any injuries.
After changes that we can buff Type 71 back to its usual Test stats where it has 120mm side armor with 40km/h max speed.
Its just pointless to play tier 10-9 with that thing around. I'm 57.95% on NA server; but even brainless 50% players with that thing can turn around a match because its so effing broken. Not to mention playing ratings which are usually a combination of hulldown meta (Kran, Type 71, stb-1) and bs collectors. At least most of them can be worked around, but type 71 its just ... killing the fun basically

To me it is clear: money. The Japanese tech tree is relatively new and you must spend a lot of resources and quickly to get that, curiously "end of the branch", expensive tank before it is get nerfed and here we go again with another new tech tree. This is the game.

I stopped playing tier X heavies until they nerf it, that tank even bounces IS-4/E5 prammo. The same reason I stopped playing lights when the LT100 entered the game, it was pointless to even try to fight the thing.
It has weak spots literally go ask any top comp team it’s easy as hell to pen with almost every single heavy even the maus🤦♂️
My fav tier 10 is the Jagdpanzer E100 and when i meet a Type 71, i dont bother with prem ammo, i just spam with HE,more cost effective.

The concept you have better maneuverability forward and backing up than the type you have better haul down capabilities you have more damage Per minute you have more dpm an insanely accurate gun statistically more side armor due to the angling I can go on and on
And the armor profile is weak on the type in a face hug you can pen the upper plate the turret ring the cheeks etc. when it goes hull down the “turret cheeks” the massive hatch even the turret ring on flat/hulldown just hit the bottom of the gun mantlet most shells will ricochet down into the turret ring if you do it correctly. On flat you can pen everything with prem with all t10 heavies even the IS7 can do it. Even with standard most tier 10 heavies will pen the little side plates and the lower plate on flat ground.

here what i want to nerf on the thing:
1 nerf the armor(not all the armor),making the cupola weaker and once pen will alway damage the tank instead of the module it self,making there a weak spot on the turret front like how they did on the stb1,making the side skirt and side armor thinner and less like a maus frontal plate
2 removing the special equipment and just give it straight up a 8 degree gun depression
3 nerfing the mobility of the tank,reducing top speed down to 35 and nerfing the engine hp down to 900 but keep the traverse
the armor wont become like e75 armor,trust me the armor will still be OP since im only nerfing the side,cupola and the turret underside cheek
mobility wont be bad since it mobility originally already decent enough for u to reach any where on the map
i do notice the gun on the tank is pretty shitty so might as well just decrease the dispersion down to 0.305 max with the decrease dispers thingy,pen and other thing make the gun balanced pretty much

There a lot of useless tanks in T10 imo. Maus, 215b/183, Wz113/G ft (controversial) - no GD so cannot utilise dpm and armour is weirdly crap, obj.140, 100LT, E100 (inferior 60tp), E4, E5, Vk72, B-C (why play it over progetto/TVP?)
100LT I play like the E25, side hug and keep shooting.
E5 is the best among them, vk72 and fv215b are by far the worst

Bc has more dpm and with shell reload boost it gives 930 damage in under 4 secs and hides with it's amazing camo value also better mobility, gun handling and view range .also it has a very small profile with kinda trollish upperplate under certain angles. The only downside is the gun dep . Otherwise it's a amazing tank
@@deadlymemes2269 I think the TVP and Progetto are straight up superior. The TVP has better damage output (1300) with 4 shells which doesn't seem like it makes a huge difference but it does. It really allows you to run in and take out 4 players whilst still being forgiving as it has the extra shell. Only thing better about the B-C is it's size and camo (not that useful until end game). The B-C sucks in 1v1s which E50M and wz121 force you into where you get rammed and HE'd. I do not think the B-C really has a place in the meta. TVP is better at burst, Progetto is more diverse, Leo is a better sniper, E50M is a better brawler, Vickers is a better light tank. I'm not saying its bad but I have always seen B-C's as prey and taken them out easily since they are not fast enough to get away from other mediums. I think it needs a speed buff so it can get in and out without losing all its hp.

Pantouf, I think I know the reason it bouncr at 2:12... If you look closely it has a slight red in it which had a high chance of bounce, but then turret angle it at even more vulnerable angle it decrease its probability of bounce and increase its penetration probability but a chance of bounce is NOT ZERO so it can happen
Seeing the replays of 71... I don't find this tank exciting to play. Yeah it is strong, but I prefer high alpha, mobility or clipping potential. Not going to grind this line any time soon.
Yea same. I have tanks that are basically better than the type 71 except for the "armour it has" . The 37 kmh top speed currently is pretty crap tho

I actually don't play tier X or IX anymore except when I'm grinding up a tree... I have 12 tech tree tier X and I haven't even played half of them even once...
It's just not enjoyable anymore imo. I'd rather stick to tier VIII and make a few more credits with premium tanks along the way.
I dont think that you have to play tris tank, for example for me, e100 is good tank, I love 640 dmg per shot, or yoh, t57... I think we have bigger problems like obj 268/4

I think its harder to deal with E100 compare type 71.
Just remove the armor on the hull make it like fv215b ineffective and get it's max speed to 33-34 and maybe increase reload with 1 - 1.3 seconds. Shouldn't be a problem anymore and relay on teamwork.

66k free xp is not much tbh, I would wait for the Italian TD’s because they seem to be easier to play based on what we know so far. Just make sure to not spend the Free XP on anything other than tank modules.
I have faced the new italian T10 "Minotauro" and even though it is still in testing and it can change, I couldn't pen that thing frontally with my Concept 1B, same as the Type 71, so I would definetly wait for the new italian td's if you want to be in the 1st line

Some of you in this comment section are speaking as if the Type 71 is invincible, it's not.... at all. The type's best feature is it's armor, that's its only slightly above average stat. The gun handling is mid, the dpm is mid, the mobility is mid without the equipment. This tank is however, easy play like most heavily armored tanks in the game, with little knowledge of hulldown and sidescrape you can make the armor work. I would recommend to everyone complaining about this tank being unbalanced to go into armor inspector and find the weakpoints.
im f2p and i cant use armor inspector for t9/t10 cos then i need to pay for that. Workarounds?

Funny that many people crying about FREE op tanks and then stop playing them once WG nerfed them to the dirt. Take the Emil 1 for example, people used to whine about how op the tank was and there was teams filled with them. Now after the nerf the tank is harder to find than a Siberian tiger.

I don't really see the problem of Type 71. Yes it has good armor profile but from other hand gun is very average and mobility is ok. Good tank but nothing op and what is most important everybody can play it. It's better to have good and strong tanks in game that everyone can play than all the same average and mediocre.

They were spammed in comp all the time before the type existed. both tanks have bad accuracy and not necessarily the best dpm, but they have great armour and that's what mattered.
