haha, my friend was the girl that rolled in mud to get a free Oh Sleeper shirt. im tryin to find a vid of her doin that but i cant find anythin. nice vid tho, i wish i saw them but i got to the stage too late.
what's especially dope, is how fucking short james is too, cause shane is huge and cut, and james is little and red. Hilarious especially cause the guitars they play are so similar in size yet they look so different on the different musicians
@timothycoots on the contrary bro your right bout the boom pad but some bass players have a part of their equipment on their half stacks that turns up the actual bass so they can make that big of a boom when they drop like that man. fuckin brutal
@MultiMatt56 No, even when you glissando on a bass, and equalize is a ton to raise the bass- it's not the same as a sub-bass drop. All bass drops by these -core bands are always done by drum pad samples.
To use a bass drop live the drummer normally has a 'boom pad' which is sort of the same as an electric drum tom. You set it to play the '808 bass boom' sound when hit via a 'brain'. All the drummer has to do is hit it for that huge sound. It's nothing to do with the bass guitar at all.
no, he's too big for the guitar. When you're as tall as Shane is (6' 4"), most any guitar looks small on you but especially thin cut ones like what he's playing. It doesn't really stop him from doing anything though, he's a beast at guitar.
best band ever.........period
soooo good. amazing
what a band....please come to italy :)
Micah is so full of energy live :P
I just realized this was the concert I went to...o.O
those red cabinets are making me drool.
good to see shane playing the Ibanez
@timothycoots Yep, it just sounds like a muffled explosion pretty much. You can do it on a keyboard too.

God At 1:30 That Bass Is Bad ass
This looks like it was done in a backyard haha!
@thewererabbit I know! I met both of them and James is about my height which is 5' 5" and Shane is closer to 6' 5"(he actually is taller than Micah)

the drummer has an 808 pad that he hits when he wants it....
@VolvoRox when i saw them i thought they were one of the better bands i've seen live. maybe this is just an off day.

For real, why is he using such a small guitar?
haha, you can tell he was running out of breath. Him and Andrew Schwab are the two best lyricist in christian music!
