  • Join flower farmer and florist Georgie Newbery of Common Farm Flowers as she creates wedding flowers for a boiling hot day in August. Georgie loves colour in wedding flowers, especially at this time of year, and here she talks about why it's a good idea not to be too pale with flowers in the harsh, bleaching, low sun of August. And she doesn't just talk about it, she shows you. With tips for placing material as you work, making material work for you, watching out for a dangerous heat/buttonhole combo, Georgie makes the bride, bridesmaids and buttonholes for anotherwise DIY wedding for which she also supplied masses of mixed buckets (see previous clip for details of those in her August tour of the garden.) With dahlias and roses and masses of other great material all grown on her flower farm between Bruton and Wincanton in Somerset, this is a fun clip full of tips and tricks. And a big thank you to Tracy from Vancouver Island! Cheers Tracy! xxx
