In regards to the meter: the camera is correct. You do not have enough light in the room for 100 ASA at 1/60th of a second, even wide open at f8, for the camera.

i love my nishika; scenes with dynamic content, like sparklers, flowing water, or falling objects are some of my favorites to shoot with the n8000. never wasted the time putting batteries in it though. definitely wouldn't shoot anything slower than iso400 in it, unless i was heading out into the florida sun. if you change your blending mode to "difference", it'll make stacking the layers much more straightforward. regarding the pivot point, that's always going to be image dependent and is often a function of how far you, the subject, and the background are positioned relative to each other. wish i'd picked up a few of these when they were practically giving them away. 100% agree that it is worth it, even at the current crazy prices. one of the most fun cameras to bring to any sort of gathering,
if you want to continue the fun camera exploration, i'd vote for picking up a swing lens camera like the horizon. tons of fun making panoramas and it is also interesting at gatherings.

I got this camera over a year ago and I've yet to use it. This video reminded me to shoot with it. Great video.

If I put a 35 mm and takes up to 36 shots
How many shots do I get out of it?

Better to get the Nimslo3D, a MUCH better and cheaper camera if you can get one

Also, the Reto3D app (free or pro version) to create the wigglepics once you’ve scanned them in from the negs

How can it be overlooked if its $300? It's the definitive fad camera. Cool but totally unnecessary.
