I would of not known about Mcnees if it wasn’t for your channel, so I’m grateful. The 3.5 looks great and is definitely on my radar. Sweet model you picked up, definitely a keeper
I finally got one of these for retail after getting beat out on like 4 separate drops lol they really do sell out fast. Mine should be here in a few days can’t wait to check it out
@@Southernknife_addict take it apart and clean it! The two I owned were the same way! Clean out the bearings with alcohol, put some KPL, and you will be good to go!
@@the_pointy_end yeah I did that i normally always do I can’t help myself lol. I tuned it back together and it’s perfect now. I ordered a geared backspacer as well to bring it all together 👌🏼
My buddy bought this knife, your hands don't do its justice on how big and blocky it is. Just a solid knife. One that you could bet will never let you down.
Awesome! Glad to hear it is working for you! Yeah idk what it is but these things need to be tuned… once you get it, it’s awesome. Experiment with different bearings / washers too! Not very expensive to do so and can really change the experience!
@@the_pointy_end I already have wide washers and bearings on the way from skiff, but honestly the action is so good I might not throw them in. I love the ratios on this knife, a full 3.5 inches but it closes up to the size of a PM3. They got it figured out over at McNees.

Nice! They are awesome knives. Let me know if you pick one up and thanks for watching!
@@the_pointy_end You bet! I’m eyeing the 3.5 w/frag scales, should be my next knife.

Awesome! Congrats! You won’t be disappointed. I have heard the grind on the new ones is wayyy better. Let me know how it is!
@@the_pointy_end I’m definitely digging it! The edge on mine is phenomenal action isn’t completely drop shut but I’m sure it will break in

Agreed! It is an amazing knife.. I have two of them now! I’m going to be doing a comparison video this week!
@@the_pointy_end really been eyeing that auto. Have one I can get but that's because I can never find the framelock.
Great review bro, glad you were able to pick one up 👊
Appreciate it! Have to send one of these bad Larry’s to you to review next 💪
Have the same knife and I find if you put any pressure on the lock bar you can’t flip it open with your thumb and yeah the thumb studs do hurt
Very true. One of the problems with a frame lock if you have big hands! Thanks for watching!
Great review. Subbed.
Thanks so much! You are #100!!!
Are these flat or hollow grind?
Flat! The factory edge is the worst I’ve seen… it needs work
Very cool 😎
My detent is SUPER. Stiff, could never reverse flip mine in a million years.
Have you taken it apart yet?
@@the_pointy_end I finally did. Loosened the tension on the lock bar. Now it’s the best edc knife in my collection by far.

Is there a version for MEN💪? You know, with a 4" blade?
😂 not yet 🤷♂️ just one that fits in a purse
@@the_pointy_end 😂😂😂
Nice knives, the_pointy_end.
Thanks for watching!
