    I like looking at keys.
My favourite key is the bakelite ex-army key marked as, Key. W.T. 8 Amp No 2 MkΙΙΙ which I bought for 7/6d (37½p) when I was aged 16 (52 years ago) and knew no Morse. I just wanted a key. It's what I use today.
Another is a brass key marked, DCS or DGS on it's wooden base. It has the Navy knob and came on a larger wooden base with a 4 pin valve and holder and a Mullard audio transformer, a torch bulb socket and space for a battery as a practice set. 9 to 18 Volts h.t. works well plus 2 Volts for the heater. The key was black with grime when I got it. What a great find.

Looks like a Nye Viking key.

Thanks a lot Dave. I was scrolling my feed and thought that key looks very familiar!
I took note on the screws, those were replaced by me.
    The spring is there.
About cleaning the contacts (not the terminals) without knowing better I’d guess they’re silver. What would you suggest? I’m thinking Braso and a coffee filter.
