Your channel become one of my favorites, it helps me to see art more healthily, I barely gave myself a chance to draw loose before and it took away all the fun that I had when I started. So seeing how beautiful and vivid your sketches are and listening to all your advice is such blass, I could only be thankful. It gives me excitement to look for groups like this in my city too, which seems to be a great way to practice more.

i'm not an urban sketcher, or any type of sketcher, really. i watch your videos because you're so amazing at capturing the feeling of a scene and it's captivating to watch. just wanted to say that i imagine, for you, being a dad is enriching your life in so many ways! plenty of time to travel later when they're older. :)
Love this! It’s a treat to learn about how other Muslims celebrate Ramadan. Loved your art and how you’re always able to make something special with the most mundane seeming subjects. Nice cameo of Teoh as well 🤗

I finally got my Fude Sailor 55 pen 😊 and converter so I’m excited to use it. Just waiting for UK weather to improve. In the meantime I step into your world of urban sketching. Some great spreads by all the urban sketchers. Your sketchbooks are full of treasure.
Sailor 55 sounds like an economical and popular pen to use. I’ve not used it. But usually the fude nibs I have are inexpensive. But the performance seems to be all about how it’s curved and angled. Let me know how the 55 performs:)
The drawings look really great. The washes you did with the brush pen and some ink from the nib are very nice. It's also nice to see that Kakimori nib being used to such good effect. What is the holder you have it in? Did you make it yourself? It looks a similar style to the wet noodle G nib pen you made. Thanks for the video, very enjoyable.
Thanks! Yeah the kakimori nib is a pretty good recent invention. It can produce nice line variation and very versatile. Ha you noticed the holder! Yes I made it myself from the same material (delrin) I made the black noodle years ago. The kakimori nib doesn’t fit in most regular holders. Only selected ones. So I made one myself:)
Looks like such a great idea. I've just been looking at the Urban Sketchers website and there's no chapter in my county here in West Yorkshire so I'll be looking into fixing that :)

Yeah it’s interesting to see how another culture does festivals. The mundane is sometimes the only thing I have to work with😂

There is a Yorkshire chapter. I sketched with them in Skipton in 2019. I continue to follow their events and they have outings in West Yorks.
