Probably the most innovative new product at the ProWing Show was this scale Microlight from Punkair / Cefics. It is still in development and not available to buy until Q4 2023. I was told that price would be around 2000 Euro. The trike will be a kit and the wing will arrive pre-assembled. Anyone interested in this new RC aircraft should sign up to the newsletter on www.cefics.com

I remember flying these at the lake back in the 80s. You don't see them out there as much as you use to. They are fun I'd recommend everyone try to fly one and there are very easy to fly. Those are cool models and great videos as usual.

From a distance, it looks like a real, full-size microlight.
At the RC “flying field” I used to go to in San Antonio 15 years ago, a paraglider guy used it to take off and land land too.
So gotta make one of these few stunt kites some rods get granny’s sewing machine out be great fun , won’t obviously look that good but worth a bash

Ah so different to see now models when it used to be real people love it.
These things need a camera attached to it to make the videos more interesting to watch.

It's an RC Show so no option to do that. I hope to buy one of these myself so can put an FPV camera in it.
I've been experimenting with an old delta kite and some left-overs of a Hobbyking autogyro fuselage to construct a Microlight. Still at the very early stages but it should be a viable project once everything is ironed out. The Cefics/Punkair machine looks and flies superbly but at 2000 Euros it's way overpriced in my opinion. I have their 1.8m Wilco foam winged hang glider which I like to fly but a good looking and performing microlight has always been one of my dream models. However, as I said above, not at the price proposed in this case.
Might be expensive for most but they will sell them. It's unique.

It would be excellent for FPV. That's my plan.
