FYI: Looking at the FAA website (uasdoc.faa.gov/listDocs) I don't see the 'DJI Mini 4K' listed as having Remote ID.
I'm kind of confused here with the Mini 4K. What is the difference between this and the Mini 2? It seems like a rehash of the Mini 2 all over again. Are the Mini 4K specs the same as the Mini 2? Thanks for the video.
Yes, seems like this 'Mini 4K' will be very similar to what the 'Mini 2' was (which DJI has stopped selling on their website). I think the bottom line is simply, this new DJI Mini 4K is positioned to be an affordable option for anyone looking for 4K video capabilities. All I really know at the moment.....hope that helps...Honestly, not sure what DJI's logic is on this one.
So what is the difference between the mini 2 and the mini 4k the only thing is the price, so why is the mini 2 price still at 600 dollars, make it make sense and why nobody is talking about the likeness of this drone and the mini 2 the content creators are not mentioning the mini 2 but they are mentioning the mini se and the mini 3 and 4 but not the mini 2. At least they could have given it ocusync 4.

The only differents I see is that the mini 2 was discontinued and that the mini 4k is just coming out
Yeah...really not sure why DJI did it this way.
Fun fact, you can get a ship mini 3 with a bonus ssd for 330 at Costco
But the deal will be discontinued after the 29th of april

Does the camera of the coming mini 4k release rotate for IG reels and other platforms on social media use? Or its stick with landscape only?

This is just a mini 2
They stole my idea. Last year I made a plug and play 4100 mah battery for the mini 2. I got 59 minutes of flight and over 6 miles out 1 trip and back. I put the video up and dji stole my invention. They r ripping me off. I have videos on here proving what I did. I hold the world record max flight time on a mini 2 totally stock except a battery we designed. I'm furious about this. Its not rid bc a drone under 250 grams dont need rid
I agree I don’t get why it would be just for rid.. although for those who do want to fly registered for Commerical use will NEED a rid.. so maybe that is why.
PS. Do you make any of these long flight time battery’s for the mini 3/4? Or do you show how you did it so I could make my own?
I already have been 3d printing my own mini 4 battery cases.. I just need to figure out a board and battery
@@BiffsEquipment only mini 2. You can physically make 1 for the 3 and 4 but dji locks out aftermarket batteries now so it's useless. Mini 2 is a trooper
@@w.e.s. yah I found that out doing some research the other day. Sucks. I thought about trying to install a plus lipo battery on the non plus battery board.. I wonder if the new RID system on the mini 4 is activated by the circuit board of the plus battery or if it goes by the mah. Either way I think it will work because Iv seen a few guys modify the original battery for a mini 3 or 4 by putting a second battery in parallel and the drone still thinks it’s got the mah of its original battery. So this being said it might work swapping the plus battery on the regular batterys’ circuit board to get a little extra flight time with out the RID being enabled in the drone/controller
