I unfortunately, got to see this one at the Peoria civic center in 2001. So mudvayne, so the rumor has it, convinced Rammstein not to play at the civic center. As people know Mudvayne is from Peoria IL and they hated the civic center and convinced rammstein not to play there. Super disappointing not to see rammstein and Mudvayne but on the flip side i used to go see mudvayne during the LD50 days all the time back in the day at the Peoria Madison Theatre. But dick move on their part.
@@drizzlebizzle Mudvayne & Rammstein no-showed at the Worcester Centrum, too! We did get to see American Head Charge, and Slipknot & System played extended sets. RIP WAAF 107.3FM Worcester/Boston
@@JohnWayne-vf5bs They deserved more success than they got, but they were sort of late to the Nu Metal scene which was something KoRn created in 1993. This band didn't come out until the early 2000s when Nu Metal was about to reach it's expiration date.
Malcolm Zzerosignal saw them in 01 on Pledge of Allegiance tour with Mudvayne, Rammstein, System of a Down, and Slipknot. It was a mystery back then. Loved them. Always considered them a good version of Papa Roach that wasn't emo. My friends and I that went to the show were huge fans.
They probably were just lost in the mix. at that time there was so much new amazing music coming out all at once. not like now where you get one rock song a year
@@TheRiehlThing42 I seen it at Cobo here in Detroit, That Pledge of Allegiance tour was insane, the perfect medicine we all needed at that time. Wasn't Kittie on that card as well? I've looked but I can't find anything confirm that other than my faulty old man memory.
@Texan White Panther Flare was a good friend of mine, passed from cancer in 2019. Had 3 girls, his wife Threse just passed away from leukemia this last spring.
Chicago/NWI scene in the early 2000's was a lot of fun. Saw these guys a bunch before they were signed. My old guitarist Kris M went to school with some of them. I remember the day they left to go on the Pledge Tour... this album needs to be added to Spotify!
I miss Flare man💔 Close family friend of mine and my mommas. Down to earth dude and always was an inspiration for my music. LONG LIVE FLARE AND HIS WIFE🖤
I LOVE NU METAL, FUCK I MISS THOSE TIMES WHEN NU METAL RULES THE WORLD, I MISS MY HIGH SCHOOL DAYS, MY TEENAGE TIMES ALL THAT ANGER, ENERGY , FUN AGE FULL OF REBELLION, I ALMOST 29 AND GETTING OLDER FUCKING SUCKS
Nobody(save for Korn) makes music like this anymore. It's a damn shame. Regardless, I love this single and the record as a whole. Johnny K gave the album a Disturbed like level of razor blade guitars, bass, drums and vocals. Thank you for this.
Saw em in Knoxville TN back when they toured with drowning pool when dave was alive lol gd i feel old i hung out with these guys while DP was playing they were cool as shit
Now its time to make myself feel old, remember catching them on the Pledge of Allegiance tour and having this on a VHS tape, had it till I left home for a week on a trip and my mom loaned out my VCR, it had the tape in it which I never got either back
I discovered these guys while showing up late to a Slipknot-System of a Down-Rammstein rock festival at the Philly Spectrum literally days after 9/11 and I caught the last few songs of their set and was blown away and immediately bought their CD which I copied and burnt their CD to a metal head buddy of mine and remember he loved this band too. Even though its heavily gimmicked, "Chemical" is an instant metalcore classic, and the first track of their CD is a hit in my opinion as well.
For the year that debuted this band there was already a lot of saturation of Nu Metal bands in the mainstream, they actually have many clichés from within the genre; the video and the band itself. In 2001 Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Godsmack, Mudvayne, Distubed had singles sounding hard even from their albums of 2000. Also in 2001 they debuted bands like A.A.A, Drowning Pool, Adema, Ill Niño , Saliva; and not to mention also that second albums from another bands such as: The Height of Callousness of Spineshank Toxicity of SOAD, IOWA of Slipknot, Satellite of P.O.D. , XX of Mushroomhead ... etc. Aside from bands that did not play Nu Metal, they released albums with a sound similar to Nu Metal like Machine Head with Supercharger, Slayer with God Hate Us All, Fear Factory with Digimortal. So this could be one of the reasons why this band was not commercially. successful.
I listened to their album for the 1st time yesterday but I've been listening to the single for over 20 years and I found a song on there that sounds exactly like this one and the rest of the songs also have the same problem.
It was 2001 in Dallas,TX reunion Arena...these guys were right before system of down followed by Rammstein then Slipknot closed. Thank you DAD. Memories for a LIFETIME!
well hot DAMN!!! according to wikipedia--No One is playing shows again!!! I would guess mainly in their home town but still---they are BACK!!! i dunno about one else who likes em but im checkin up on facebook and keepin myself "in the know"!!

still listen to this from time to time, freaking awesome :D wish that more music like this was played on the radio rather than all the pop punk and r&b rubbish that i can't stand, maybe then radio would be worth listening to :p
Except they sounded nothing like Damageplan. Whoever told you that needs their ears cleaned out. Damageplan had two of the most talented metal instrumentalists ever in Dime and Vinnie, and their album was a proud continuation of the Pantera legacy. Shame that they only were able to make one. These guys, on the other hand, are a generic nu-metal band among the sea of them that cropped up in the early 2000s. It's like they took the worst elements of Drowning Pool and Breaking Benjamin (two otherwise talented groups), threw in a little Limp Bizkit for good measure and said "yeah, this is good enough."

Will the album ever be on Spotify
I can’t the artists at all on there. Just looked.
Still not there
Saw in other comments, it use to be on there in 2018, now its gone.

Well they disbanded and their guitarist passed away, a couple years later their bassist passed away as well and the rest have been inactive as of 2022
if i'm not mistaken, all of the members are dead
