  • To be admitted to the St. Louis County Police and Municipal Academy, one requirement is to successfully complete a Physical Agility Assessment.
    Our Physical Agility Assessment has tiered testing standards for both males and females.
    • Males ages 20 to 29 must complete at least 38 sit-ups, 29 push-ups, and run 1-point-five miles in less than 12 minutes and 29 seconds.
    • Females ages 20 to 29 must complete at least 32 sit-ups, 15 push-ups, and run 1-point-five miles in under 15 minutes and 5 seconds.
    • Males ages 30 to 39 must complete at least 35 sit-ups, 24 push-ups, and run 1-point-five miles in under 12 minutes and 53 seconds.
    • Females ages 30 to 39 must complete 25 sit-ups, 11 push-ups, and run 1-point-five miles in less than 15 minutes and 56 seconds.
    • Males 40 to 49 mush complete at least 29 sit-ups, 18 push-ups, and run the 1.5 miles in under 13 minutes and 50 seconds.
    • Females ages 40 to 49, they must complete at least 20 sit-ups, 9 push-ups, and run 1-point-files in less than 17 minutes and 11 seconds.
    • Male applicants ages 50 and above must complete at least 24 sit-ups, 13 push-ups and complete the 1-point-5 mile run in less than 15 minutes and 14 seconds.
    • Females ages 50 and above must complete 14 sit-ups, 7 push-ups, and run 1-point-five miles in less than 19 minutes and 10 seconds.
