Great review, as always! Regarding the cleaning performance, will doing multiple passes pick up all of the debris eventually? Or does the build of that model (suction power, brush density, etc.) mean the vacuum is only ever capable of extracting that percentage of dust and debris, particularly on carpet?
That would depend on the carpet type and type of debris that need cleaning. It will do better on hard surfaces than on carpet. The percentages you see are just a reprentation of the porential performance. Your results may vary depending on the caŕpet and debris type
If it gets full while cleaning will it alert me? It’s mapping my whole house and I’m sure it needs to be emptied but I’m bot sure if I can pause it to empty it.
@@CordlessVacuumGuide I really hope so. The S6, S6 Pure & S4 Max aren't listed anywhere on the UK Roborock Amazon page. On top of that, the prices are ridiculously high over here. £360 ($484) just for the regular S4 on the official store
Will it go back to the charger and finish where it left off after it is charged up again? Mine got 3/4 the way done and it went back to the charger and I have not seen it since? Is there a setting? That is very disappointing, I am thinking of sending it back.
Do not purchase this product! I did and was having issues with erratic cleaning patterns on carpet. I contacted Roborock customer service and was told this model is NOT recommended for use on carpet. It’s low profile creates drag and effect it’s performance on carpet. According to them it’s designed for use in hard surfaces like wood and tile only. Wish their website gave that information.
Just got mine today! Just did the map and so far so good
One of the best reviews I've seen..lots of useful info

7:37 the top of the lidar covering is actually a button so when it hits something that it can't get under, it will turn around
Thanks for the info.
should I pick S6 Pure over S4 Max even if I don't use mopping features? Do you think the S6 Pure cleans better?
I'd go with the S4 Max if it's cheaper.
@@CordlessVacuumGuide how much cost s4 max?
Hello, how far the roborock S4 Max is better than older Roborock S4 ?
thanks for your channel
360 S5 (2020) vs Roborock S4 Max 😎
I just return my 369 s5 it cannot charge when I open the box

It doesn't have a sensor, so you'll have to check. There's a pause button on the app that let's you pause it mid run.
Thanks for the detailed review. If it has better airflow than s5 max then how come it scored lesser than s5 max in carpet deepcleaning? Any idea?
Maybe the S5 Max has better suction? Just a guess though
I'm looking another method to measure suction. Once I find a consistent methodology other than airflow, I'll share it in a future video.
Can someone help show how to empty and open the dustbin?
There's a front door. Open it to empty contents.
I wish this was available in the UK. I made the mistake of buying an S4 in August
I think it will be soon.

Good thing I have hard wood.😎
@@timothybrown8424 You will be good. Just know it will not run in thick carpet.
