My cousin and I were the misfits of the family...for different reasons. That, and our love of music brought us together as best friends, and this song was one of our favorites to listen to and sing along with. She died suddenly and tragically at 29, and every time I hear this song, I feel her next to me dancing and smiling.
I believe don't stop believing was recorded in Nashville TN . I remember getting this for Christmas in 1976. at 55 I can say I have been a fan of this lady for 42 years and still love Olivia.
This album was another one of my favorites. I am a sucker for big blue eyes, blonde hair, combined with the sweet & innocent look. I believe it was 1980, when Olivia came out with the "Let's Get Physical" album. She changed her style to sex, which was not bad, but it was not the "Sweet & Innocent" look that I was crazy about. I still love her, but pre-1980 were my best memories. I actually met Olivia in 1978 in Malibu at her clothing shop for women. My girl friend at the time was trying dresses on, so I walked just down the way to a Café to get some coffee. As I went to sit down, Olivia was just sitting in a booth drinking a soft drink. I was 25 years old, and crazy about her. All I could say was: "Hello", and she was extremely nice, asking did I like her shop, etc. I am certain that I appeared like a "Space Ghost", but she made that vacation GREAT for me. In person, she was even sweeter and more beautiful than any album cover or picture that I have ever seen. To this day, she is the most beautiful lady that I have ever seen. I still love her and wish her all the best.
This LP is wonderful and Olivia interprets the songs in a very special and intense way, as well as the musical arrangements and their sound is brilliant, the selection of them is very good and Olivia's voice is a jewel, even the design of pasta and cover is brilliant; and regardless of the beautiful memories to my liking it is the best LP of all OLIVIA forever and forever more one day!💙💚💛🧡❤️🤍💜♥️🤍💖💓💗💐💐🌹🌹🥀🥀🌷🌷🌺🌺🎤💎💎💎👌🙆🙆🙆
