I was just telling some friends about all of the training you guys do and how it can really help them to get into brewing. As I was explaining it, I thought about how nice it would be to see you guys set up an equipment kit with the ingredients and have customers pre-order the kit. Then you could go through the complete process and walk them through the process of making a batch of beer with all of the equipment they just purchased. It could be a series. Then, since it is on your channel, anyone wanting to purchase the equipment could buy it and follow along. Is this something you are interested in doing?
I remember when I bought my RoboBrew from you guys and almost threw it away because I kept getting stuck Wort. You later solved my problem by talking about using rice hulls; I wish I had this information before ruining my first couple of batches.

I started fermenting in a carboy. I got a conical a few years ago. I recently purchased an extra corny keg. All of this is to make better NEIPAs with less oxidation and easier dry hopping. This X3 is the ultimate upgrade!

Looks like a perfect upgrade from my PVC conical fermenter! I really like this one!
Biggest gripes on the X2 was mos def the trub collector (replaced mine with a 2 inch hop bong because the fit was so much better) and the v-band clamp which had to be exactly on the spot to hold pressure. Fortunately that was only needed on pressure ferments as it would hold 1-2 psi without being exactly on the mark but anything over that is needed a lot of adjustment and retightening to get correct placement. These look to both be solved with this upgrade. I have 2 X2's already but I will be looking to upgrade soonish. Great job BrewBuilt and MoreBeer!

This would be an amazing upgrade for me. I expect this will allow me to have greater control of the ingredients AND allow me to more readily move to kegs. And, this is also the sexy type of conical I desire to brew with. LOVE it.
I install a DERNORD Immersion Cartridge Heater 120V 300W , used in RV water heaters, in my side port Uni Tank. Works great and cheap!

I'll continue to love my X2, but this definitely solves some of the minor flaws.
1) Band clamp to TC - probably everyone's favorite evolution!
2) Flared legs will definitely help provide more maneuverability with butterfly valve & flex chamber and more stability when empty, and with spunding valve (it gets very top heavy with wheels!)
3) TC flex chamber is also a huge plus. the screw top on the current version can be a bear to try and open sometimes
Wow, love the changes and would like to try brewing a 14 gallon batch, just need to either get bigger kegs or a bigger kegerator!
Have to agree this looks like an awesome upgrade to the x2 and a massive upgrade to my personal setup. That port game is crazy for sure. Wouldn't know what to do with that many options.

I just saw that the X3 was released, and wow. With the X1. I felt limited with the few TC ports (built and automated pressure sensor/relief, and I wanted a dedicated O2/CO2 stone). Then the X2 came out, and I was excited, but had not jumped on it just yet. Now, with the X3, I'd have so much room for not only a dedicated stone and my pressure setup but also a few other toys I want to build and code. I'm excited for this new fermenter; hands down, it appears to be the best on the market, especially at the price point

I need this so bad. I just fermented some dark wheat beer in a 17gal tub for feed and seed. It works but so hard to get everything out of a bucket. Keep the great products coming.

Another fine example of bringing pro quality tools to the home brewer! Do we need these awesome tools to brew great beer? Absolutely not but boy does it make the brewing and post-brewing process easier to control and above all else, brings a new level of consistency that we all struggle with from time to time.

is there an 'envelope' size of this thing fully connected for cooling? i.e. how much floor/cabinet space do I need to dedicate to have enough room to hook up the cooling ports and let this sit while fermenting (since I don't have a dedicated brew room).

The X3 line of conicals look great. Wish there was a smaller version for the brewers out there that brew batches under 5 gallons.
I have done 3g in my 7g X2 and it worked fine. Was doing a half keg for a test batch. Cooling was a little slow due to lack of surface area on the jacket but it eventually got down to temp and fermented clean. I did use pressure as I knew the contact surface might be an issue but that lager was good IMO.

Have been going to my local more beer for almost 20 years, recently my wife was diagnosed with celiacs disease and I have made the decision to run a gluten free brew house. I know it would not be ideal but do you guys ever plan to sell gluten free all grain packages. There is several dedicated gluten free malt house and even one in Southern Cali. I would really like to see some gluten free kits from you guys. And trust me I know due to cross contamination it would be a big endeavor but the gluten free home brewers need more outlets. Thanks guys. Looking forward to the after dark segment sounds like it's gonna be a hit.
Besides looking so cool, I've never been super clear what advantages a fancy fermentor has over the basic carboy. I'd love a deep dive into what some of the advanced equipment gets you, targeted to someone who hasn't really considered them.
I have the Anvil Brewery, but that only makes 10 max but usually about 7.... But the 14 gallon looks so much more enticing.
