- I pick up a 1972 Suzuki ts 185 for $140 and starts first kick after sitting for 16 years.

We owned a green 1971 185 and a red 1972 185, I really like the blue. They always started on the first kick! I love that sound! When I was 3 thru 6 years old, I road double with my dad on the metal gas tank, for hours! Loved it!

I owned 2 of them back in the day. One of my favorite all purpose bikes.

Pshhhh everything is wrong with jb weld guys 😂 i bought a bike where some one jb welded the bottom of it "i didnt know it" got home rode 30 minutes until that jb weld stopped holding. And it ended up having a bad gasket, coolant getting in the engine, you actually helped me with figuring that out, it had more problems as well, i just use it as a parts bike now. Always look under bikes when i buy them now

I have a 1977 Suzuki ts185 its way to much fun. And it's wicked reliable always been good to me. Wish I could say the same about being good to it and it's not engaged bc it's a wet clutch I had the same problem when I got mine. It needs 10-40 oil in the case.

Then old Suzuki two strokes had really smooth sruning engines
Should make a funnel from silver foil then cling film it tight round the outer cable on clutch then pour oil in to the funnel ,keep it upright and it will make it's own way down the cable.

Yes, a Moped has pedals. A scooter does not. What you see riding around are scooters. Of course the DMV in its infinite wisdom give out license plates that says "moped" on anything under 50ccs.

"missing things" were the indicators bro..it was a 6v battery and they blinked once then died. We all removed them. I had the Ts250 back in the day

easiest way to tell 4 stroke from 2 stroke is the pipe. 2 stroke has expansion chamber and 4 stroke dose not.

Who takes the time to drill out a moped ignition, there's a loop wire right behind the head light you disconnect and it fires right up no key needed

Looks like the right crank seal is bad judging by all that smoke. Either that or its running way too rich or too much oil in the gas.

My brother and I had a '76 ts185 back in the late 90's that we pulled out of my grandpa's storage building on his farm. After cleaning the fuel tank, replacing the plugs, and playing with the idle, it fired every time. We actually broke the clutch cable a short time after getting the bike. We ran without it for years. We also mixed nitro (rc car fuel) in the tank, and the motor would run so hot that it would continue to fire after cutting the ignition. We tried everything we could to destroy that bike, and it took all the abuse we could throw at it. Great bike.

is that a 3 stroke or a 2 stroke or 87 stroke? don't worry im joking
its a 2 and an half stroke, with stock vtec turbo charger and fuel injected and only runs on 170 octane

Its a 47 stroke 15 cylinder 303,10,9 cc also the brand ofcource is Suzukaki and i runs on blueberry soup also has a 3000000cc turbo that is bigbored into 4000000cc
