You are a lovely perfume reviewer. I really appreciate your opinion as well as the depth and balance of your reviews. I also love that you are not trying to sell or push products. All of this makes you a credible reliable reviewer. You are definitely my favorite fragrance reviewer. I purchased the Barrakat version by Fragrance World, and I love it. I find it very wearable for evening or special occasion fragrance.
Hey. Nice review. Have the Ministry of Oud, the Barakkat and the Baroq. All 3 very powerful and long lasting fragrances. The quality of Barakkat is slightly smoother than the Ministry. The Baroq - in comparison to Ministry and Barakkat - is slightly more synthetic, but the quality is still good. 🙂 I recommend to everyone to buy the best offer (price) out of those 3. Baroq is more powerful than Barakkat.
Fantastic, nuanced, detailed review! I have the Ministry of Oud version and really like it but remember wanting to get the Barakkat version at the time. More Fragrance World and Paris Corners are at the brink of starting to emerge in my country and there's a 50ml of the Barakkat verion I'm going to get to compare the two. LOVE your channel, it's brilliant 🥰

I wasn’t familiar with this scent profile but I blind bought Zimaya‘s Impulse Oud and Ministry of Oud Oud Satin. @@AFragrantGlance hi darling 😀 I went to the perfume shop and tested barakkat satin oud . I don’t like the opening but I adore the dry down . So I think is a miss for me 🥹😊 I hope you are well sending you hugs 🤗
I have Satin Luxe by Pendora as well as a decant of the original - they're pretty much identical. The openings are the same, decadent rosey and sweet, then they both dry down to the powdery, soapy smell - for that reason I don't like it. I'd love it if the opening lasted longer, but I don't like the powdery direction it goes in.
Great videos as always my dearest May I kindly ask you if you came across any dupe for Orchidee Vanille by Van Cleef and Arpeles I m a huge fan from Cairo, Egypt ❤❤
Thank you for watching beautiful, I'm very happy to hear you enjoy my videos 🤗🌹❤️ I haven't tried Orchidee Vanille unfortunately so I can't give you any dupe recommendations, I know Paris Corner & Maison Alhambra dupe a lot of niche fragrances so you might have some luck if you look there. Let me now if you find anything 💫
Oud satin benefits alot from maceration. Always macerate your fragrance. Tell me bout the performance if you macerate it for 1 to 2 months. Nothing else comes close to the performance
Thank you for watching! 🌹❤️I haven't tried it unfortunately, can't tell you much about how it is and how it compares to other, but I've heard good things about it. If you decide to try it let me know how you feel about it 💫
I'd say that Barrackart Satin Luxe leans the most masculine because it has that added oud accord that is very pronounced and overall it's a tad darker and colder as it develops, also that baby powder smell it not as pronounced. I'd love to do a review on Shaghaf Oud Azraq but unfortunately it's not available yet in Romania. Thank you for watching ❤️
I have Baroque Satin Oud by Maison Alhambra. I blind bought it and have never tried the original. I wish I knew how it stacks up against these others in comparison. When I was looking for a dupe it was so hard to find one here.
I have both, it’s extremely close to the original. I went in looking for differences , hoping to pick it apart and I was shocked. Very well blended and cannot tell the difference from wear. I don’t know how they did it. I’ll be getting a backup bottle, although I hear Ministry of Oud is more fem leaning with a powdery note. Sounds interesting.
@Portrait of a Lady thank you kindly for your reply. It's been driving me nuts since I got it because it's unlike anything else I have and I was so hoping it was a good representation of the original.
Of course. I just tested them out again so my memory is fresh. To be honest, OSM smells sharper than BSO at the opening. After the alcoholic part dies down in BSO, which lasts several seconds, it becomes smoother. To my nose, the smell is identical, except it's as if BSO has been on your skin longer right after you spray it. This doesn't mean it doesn't project; it just smells more refined. On the other hand, OSM starts off with a punch and gradually smooths out. Judging by wear alone within the 1st 30min, if I didn't know I'd think BSO was the original. However, the strength of OSM is the reason it lasts until the next day. Lol
@Portrait of a Lady I so appreciate your description of them in this way. Even though I haven't tried the original I feel I know exactly what you mean. I feel good I ended up with this interpretation OSM then and that it will do the original justice.
Thank you for watching dear 🌹❤️ Unfortunately no fragrance with a heavy caramel nuance comes to my mind, just caramel in different mixes (Ishq al Shuyukh Gold - caramel with sugar, a metallic feel & suede), Ameerat al Arab Prive Rose (sticky caramel with deep fruity nuances and amber), Shaghaf Oud (praline with rose and saffron). However a gorgeous vanilla scent that's simplistic but amazing is Moattar Dhahab for Women by Junaid Perfumes, it works amazing on its own or layered with other fragrances to amplify the sweetness. If you enjoy the smell of Vanilla 28 by Kayali I feel like you'll enjoy a lot Moattar Dhahab as well (even though they're not dupes).
Ministry of oud is a beast mood fragrance. Get the actual bottle and stoo using decant. Macerated Ministry of oud is eternal in performance. It lasts all day 12-20hours on the skin with huge projection for 8hrs
Have you thought about the fact that the bottle it was decanted from was already opened for a while & it got time to macerate? The performance of a fragrance can depend on lots of factors from climate, skin type, hormones and more, also on men fragrances then to last much longer in general as they stick to the hairs on their arms/chest. Thank you for watching 🌠
@@AFragrantGlance I do understand what you're saying. But you've got hair you do spray on which is equivalent or more than what I got on my arm. Spraying on your hair will show you what exactly I'm talking bout. First, when I got oud satin I felt kind of disappointed cos it lasted for like 8hrs but I loved the rose 🌹 and scent profile, I used it a bit, left it and when on to use my other fragrance but after a month or so, I went back to it and mind you I don't work in construction, wore Oud satin to work with all the sweat and grims this thing was still projecting from my body after 14hrs Shift. As I closed from work one of my co worker complimented me on the smell and asked me if I topped off the perfume and I smiled and waved bye to him with lots of confusion in my face, I couldn't believe it. Then getting him and went to shower as soon as the shower hit my body and neck area this thingy started smelling again and I was blown away. That made my bought 3 more bottles of oud satin and it's the beast of out all the long lasting fragrances I've second beast is Ysl y EDP
Thank you for watching! 🤗🌹 I haven't tried the version from Alhambra, between the 3 in the video my 2 favourites are the one with the added oud accord (adds a beautiful statement nuance) and the Ministry of Oud one. ✨️
Oh really? Never tried oud based laundry detergents but I do have a concentrated scented fabric softener in the Oud Satin Mood scent family, it makes the clothes smell amazing! 💫 Thank you for watching❤️
@@irisgoed8483 It'a by a brand called Cashemere Aroma, they're based in Romania but I think they ship everywhere in Europe. The fabric softener scent inspired by Oud Satin Mood is called Satin Oud, they also have fabric softeners in the scent of Bitter Cherry, Erba Pura, BR 540, Black Orchid and many more. It's an amazing brand and the scent actually lasts on clothes 💫
Thank you for watching ❤ Out of my mind I can't think of any rose oud fragrances with fruity notes, I will have to look through my collection and come back with some recommendations if I find any, I don't think I've tried many scents in this category 💫
Hi, thank you for watching ❤ The version of Oud Aswad with the Arabic writing has amazing performance, beast mode type of scent, the version that is currently sold I haven't tried it but from the feedback that I got is a tad less strong. Both have rose & are very beautiful but they go in different directions, however Oud Aswad is stronger and can be more challenging for some. Let me know how you feel about them if you try them.✨
@@AFragrantGlance Thank you for your answer ❤ A few days ago I bought Shaghaf Aswad bach 2019 with Arabic letters..But I haven't tested it yet because the weather is quite hot 😀
Yes, I think they could work amazing especially when you want a more bold strong scent! My advice would be to just apply them on different parts of the body so they don't overpower eachother on the skin, but in the air they will blend beautifully. Let me know how it goes 💫 Thank you for watching ❤
Depends what you enjoy in general but I would say the one with oud is a safer option for man as the oud there grounds the composition a little bit and it adds depth, making it more complex and taking a little bit of the shine away from the rose+candied violets duo. Thank you for watching ❤️
To me yes, it's a very feminine leaning fragrance because of all the sweetness however I got feedback from many men who enjoy wearing it as well. Thank you for watching ❤️
Oud Satin from MFK? I find it unisex even leaning slightly feminine because of the sweetness of the candied violets and the vanilla but yes, it lasts very well and it projects very far, it's a very loud scent. Thank you for watching dear 🤗🌹
If you've noticed you say "this" and "that" during conclusion where you are holding different decants in your hand and it's impossible to know which one you are talking about. You realize that people literally can not tell which one is which right? You haven't even said a single ones name in the conclusion so we could at least use deduction.
I'm not sure if you just wanted to state this out or if you actually have a question about any of these fragrances in particular, if you have a question you could've just asked. Thank you for watching!
PLEASE don't cut your beautiful hair. Just pur the front up with Bobbi pins, or something. I could do so much with your hair. You're extremely lucky to have it. Please don't cut it. 😥

Hi I like your presentation, I have barakkat satin oud it's luxurious, you were spot on. Keep up the good work
I appreciate your kind words, thank you for watching. ❤️ Glad to hear you enjoy Barakkat Satin Oud!
Oud satin doesn't perform so great on me sits close to the skin however barakkat satin oud is a beast I love it and will buy a backup bottle tfs doll
Thank you for watching beautiful and thank you for sharing your thoughts on them🌹❤️
Oud satin benefits alot from maceration. Always macerate your fragrance.
Tell me bout the performance if you macerate it for 1 to 2 months. Nothing else comes close to the performance
Hi Beauty. Have u tried Baroque satin mood from Alhambra,if u have how is it,compare to all of those
Thank you for watching! 🌹❤️I haven't tried it unfortunately, can't tell you much about how it is and how it compares to other, but I've heard good things about it. If you decide to try it let me know how you feel about it 💫
So the ministry of oud is the sweetest?
Yes, it's the sweetest and the most easy to enjoy. Thank you for watching! 🌹❤️
Which would you say leans more masculine out of the 3? Also, can you do a review on Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Azraq?
I'd say that Barrackart Satin Luxe leans the most masculine because it has that added oud accord that is very pronounced and overall it's a tad darker and colder as it develops, also that baby powder smell it not as pronounced. I'd love to do a review on Shaghaf Oud Azraq but unfortunately it's not available yet in Romania. Thank you for watching ❤️
Please between club de nuit intense
(limited edition)
And Afnan not only intense
Which of them has a better sillage and projection?
Thank you for watching ❤️ Unfortunately I haven't tried any of these fragrances so I can't compare them.
Do you study the perfurmery? Really professional approaching!😊
Thank you very much for your kind words! ❤ I don't study perfumery but I'm very passionate about everything fragrance related. ✨
I will try to look for a sample of Baroque Satin Oud by Alhambra to test it as well, heard great things about it so far! 💫 Thank you for watching 🌹❤
Hi, can you recommend good caramel, sweet perfumes please
Have u tried the maison alhambra one? Wich is best? Thanks
Thank you for watching! 🤗🌹 I haven't tried the version from Alhambra, between the 3 in the video my 2 favourites are the one with the added oud accord (adds a beautiful statement nuance) and the Ministry of Oud one. ✨️
I love this fragrance
Glad to hear that! 💫Thank you for watching ❤️
Hello, could you please suggest a few middle eastern perfumes with good sillage and projection for ladies only, thankyou
Thank you for watching dear ❤🌹 Let me know what kind fragrances you enjoy in general so I can give you recommendations that will work for you 💫
@AFragrantGlance Thankyou for the reply, this is actually for someone else, i would say something sweet or floral :)
I'm currently experimenting with oud laundry detergents and fabric softeners! I have to figure out how to get the omo detergent into the US 😅
Oh really? Never tried oud based laundry detergents but I do have a concentrated scented fabric softener in the Oud Satin Mood scent family, it makes the clothes smell amazing! 💫 Thank you for watching❤️
@@AFragrantGlance This sounds amazing! What's it called? I will hunt for it ;) Thanks in advance!
@@AFragrantGlance Thank you so much, sweetie! This sounds so great!
Can you recommend a rose Oud fragrance but with fruity notes?
Thank you for watching ❤ Out of my mind I can't think of any rose oud fragrances with fruity notes, I will have to look through my collection and come back with some recommendations if I find any, I don't think I've tried many scents in this category 💫
I wonder if there is any dupes of MFK Oud Cashmere Mood or Oud Silk Mood…
I don't know of any dupes or inspirations of those ones unfortunately. Thank you for watching ❤
Hello, I am planning to maybe buy oud satin ministry, does it have better performance than Shaghaf aswad?Which on is stronger parfume?
My favourite way to wear it is layered with Shaghaf Oud the gold one, if you have both give that layering combo a try, it smells amazing 💓
Do you think layering OUD Satin and Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud would work?
Yes, I think they could work amazing especially when you want a more bold strong scent! My advice would be to just apply them on different parts of the body so they don't overpower eachother on the skin, but in the air they will blend beautifully. Let me know how it goes 💫 Thank you for watching ❤
Which is better for men?
Depends what you enjoy in general but I would say the one with oud is a safer option for man as the oud there grounds the composition a little bit and it adds depth, making it more complex and taking a little bit of the shine away from the rose+candied violets duo. Thank you for watching ❤️
Oud satin by ministry of oud, it’s a feminine fragrance?
To me yes, it's a very feminine leaning fragrance because of all the sweetness however I got feedback from many men who enjoy wearing it as well. Thank you for watching ❤️
The best is satin oud buy barakkat!!!! Hands down
I haven't tried that one yet but good to know! Thank you for watching ❤️
Love the hair❤❤
Thank you! ❤️
You have very cute voice you sound like a pretty cartoon character
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching! ❤️
Will you compare it to Alhambra Baroque Satin Oud
If I will be able to get a sample of it yes, I will review it and compare it to those 💫 Thank you for watching ❤
@@AFragrantGlance nice thanks
Oud satain is only for man? It's true is a 💣?
Oud Satin from MFK? I find it unisex even leaning slightly feminine because of the sweetness of the candied violets and the vanilla but yes, it lasts very well and it projects very far, it's a very loud scent. Thank you for watching dear 🤗🌹
Yes mistery of oud@@AFragrantGlance
❤️🌹❤️
Thank you for watching dear 🤗🌹❤
Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate them! ❤️🤗🌹
I smell boozy violet in the opening
I smell boozy violet in the opening
I can see why, the booziness I think comes from the benzoin there. Do you enjoy it? 💫 Thank you for watching ❤
@@AFragrantGlance nope . Only the beginning is good I think .
