Advice from a King player: Once the animation starts just start mashing 2. You’ll get out of the last part which is where the huge damage happens, you’ll eat a little bit from the first two parts but comparatively it’s worth not losing most of your life bar.
You can change the last one and not do RDC but a nice damage variation grab. You can hold 2 all the time since the grab starts and it will tech the RDC
RDC is not busted dude. You can opportunity to break it 3 times. And if you cannot, it's your fault. Remember that breaking throws is as important in tekken as learning combos or learning movement options.
Us grapple player either make or break depend on the opponent.... At the end of the days is just a knowledge check as countering a frame move, but in this game even grappler has combos so we dont need to sniff too much glue... Just enough
Watching both you and lil majin NOT use the heat smash combo extension after back 1,2 (usually opt for forward 2,1 or forward 2, down 1,2 instead) makes me 90% sure I am missing something. Can you please explain why you wouldn’t or can’t do the heat-smash extension?
@@jasonnash4452 true but these high level players know the combos and meta game sooooo well. The addition of a single hit that triggers a powerful new mechanic seems like something that would be obvious to them.
@@keystonelyteNo, it’s the same damage. King has a couple moves that have blue spark, and it changes the damage. But rdc being changed from double button inputs, to single button inputs have the same damage.
@@quincyjacobs6994 I mean, RDC is infamous because the input was always easy. It's literally 2, 1, 1+2+3 for the Chicken Wing Face Lock, and then 1+3, 3+4, 2+4, 1+2, 1+2+3. You can actually just hit 2, KC, KC and then 1+3, mash KC. KC = ki charge. The new input isn't much easier tbh. @@keystonelyte Are you mental? It’s never been infamously easy, the rdc input has to be done correctly or it doesn’t come out. Well it's kinda busted. You forgot there can be newbies that could get matchups against pro players and don't know how to escape y'know? And there are some people who don't know the inputs to escape it and the inputs are very timey and precise, and finally that dmg is very insane you have to admit

Ive absolutely had someone ragequit on me during the animation of RDC before they lost.

That break window is small as hell remember that too lol
wym not busted look at the damage for completing it
Touching grass is important too
Right
Man, it must be embarrassing with all this Mishima drama and in the final battles King defeated them with that move 1:30 🤣
His rage art in Tekken 2 was a one hit KO.
Jack 2 also had a throw in Tekken Tag where he folded the spine which was also a one hit KO.
Seems like something Tony Ferguson would do.
roling and jump is from tekken1- 3 see the intro of tekken 3 ( namco never seys rolling but it is)
can someone explain how he did this grappling move with king at the beginning
It’s move 188 on his combo list, I forgot the name lol

Rolling Death Cradle or RDC. Been around for a while since Tekken 2?
do the v jump in the tekken 1, it is possible

because there are better ways to spend your meter
Can you roll on the ground infinitely if you're skilled enough?

No. It's a fixed duration and fixed damage
That kick jin did near the end was sick ad fuck the like back flip thing i havent played yet im so excited
