Some counties do not require a business license - your state license is required by UBER I believe - also your state business covers you throughout your state so open for those areas who do not require a license.
Since 2015, the Nevada state business license has been required for all Transportation Network Company (TNC) drivers in Nevada (including Las Vegas area (Clark County) and Reno area (Washoe County). Some counties, such as Clark, also require a County Business License. One reason for this is the Las Vegas airport, currently called McCarran International Airport, is operated by Clark County. You cannot legally pick up or drop off paying passengers there without the Clark County Business License.
@@larian26 just one is REQUIRED. If you want to pick up or drop off at the airport, you're required to also have a county license. The airport is operated by the Clark County Commission, so I presume it's so they have some sort of say-so about what vendors operate there. 🤷🏻♂️ They've had this requirement since 2016, I believe.
@@dianemj18 And which of the two is required? Uber sent us to the State, but it seems the County wants one. Does Uber want the State and the Count also require another?
Terrible Video. So many questions on the form itself. They just help you find the code number and then leave us to make mistakes so they can probably get more money out of us. They need to do a question-by-question demo application.

So complicated 😔

Did you ever figure it out?

I have been doing trips. Finally started, but I just won’t go to the airport.
You're an independent contractor. You don't work for anyone but yourself. You own 100% of your own business. I hope this helps.

I don’t get the part about displaying the receipt. You can’t get approved to drive with lyft until you have the TNC number.

I still do not understand what you're supposed to choose on the state of business registration for only uber rideshare...
Is a delivery driver different than a courier service? They both have different NAICS codes but have a very similar description.
