If anyone is having trouble with not seeing certain features or tools, like the toposurface/toposolid toggle BA shows in the video, make sure you have Revit 2024, not any other version. I had this same issue on Revit 2023, there were several things missing from the Environment plugin and once I installed 2024 everything was there.
Hi, when you say you can keep legacy toposurface elements, do you mean that you can keep legacy toposurfaces and their building pads? If so, where can I find documentation on that? Thanks!
Is there a possibility to take single 3D points of a point cloud directly as toposolid points? Currently the object snap is only in 2D, the height has to be entered manually. Can the Enviroment plugin do this? Or is there another possibility/plugin?
Is there a way for a traingulation on not highs with lines ? I wand to give Revit Points, and some lines to create a surface. The traingulation in APPs is closing smal holes, so it can help to make some lines between points that the triangulation knews to stop there,
This Toposolid is a nightmare for somebody who actually works with topography. Land surveyors as an example. Why did Autodesk completely remove Toposurface I have no... Oh no, wait. I have an idea. There is a payed addition for full Toposolid tool set. Heh.
This just seems like a whole lot of work. Civil 3D is a better more accurate tool for doing surfaces. Also, you can publish your civil 3D surface to BIM and bring it straight into your Revit model. Although I recommend creating a Revit model that houses your civil 3-D surface only and reference that as a Revit link into all your other Revit models as needed.
Most Famous Revit Channel in youtube but its the worst revit learning channel. Its not precise, not summarize channel. Containing over thousand videos to makes you confuse

just wow.... they really improved topo, FINALLY!
thanks but to be honest such plugins should come with the Revit licence, why do we users have to pay for everything on top?
Give Vectorworks a try if you are doing landscape. Half the price, twice the functionality - no plugins needed.

Does the modify topo solid option only works in flat toposolids? Can't be made in complex toposolids
Do you have a full tutorial for Revit environment?

This kind of sucks, because the price is basically the same as an annual subscription fee for Revit LT...

somehow the set elevation in this plugin suck, it freze revit and kill all the remanning ram
best
I don't get the point. You showed us how to create topography not how to use it. How to put building on it? How to cut toposolid?
And just like that they miss topo surface lol😅
Toposolids is a huge downgrade from toposurfaces, too bad.
