Congratulations to DAZN for no longer being a relatively new streaming service!
Well they are obviously paying for the praise

Fury has the most insane regeneration. especially wild being a heavy weight
He just fluctuates in weight
He wasn't knocked out in the wilder fight. Nobody that size is getting up fast after being fully asleep. He got caught and decided to go down with it and have a rest. These heavyweights have all trained together for decades. They know exactly who the best is
For boxing novices like me - what the heck does it mean that he has an insane regeneration? Like a starfish if an opponent bites off an appendage - he can grow it back?
That's because he is way bigger than all fighters
@@etamommy When he gets hit with a dangerous punch that knocks him down, he can get back up and continue fighting instead of losing the fight or being outright knocked out. Deontay Wilder, who is known for destroying people with his punching power, has knocked down Tyson more than once, but Tyson does not stay down. He gets back up and continues fighting, even winning sometimes. Most fighters cannot do that.
I very much liked the round by round breakdown with the judges scoring - very educational.
Rummy is good at what he does ✅️
exceptional breakdown too, I couldn't disagree with anything said here. Rummy might not know shit about boxing but this video suggests otherwise! (that said, I may have a bias towards Rummy, not least that he validated my views, which might have something to do with my praise!)
I turned on dazn yesterday and your video was the biggest thing on the main menu congratulations.
The beauty of this fight is whatever Fury has left in the tank will get left in the ring on Saturday.
Just like his twitching body
Depends on how much coke he snorts this time .
It's the same for Usyk as well, he's getting quite old as well.
@@god-of-logic99 Is only partially true, but not at all relevant in this specific case: Usyk is more or less Fury's age, but unlike him, Usyk doesn't get "in shape" only during the training camps before the fights, Usyk is always in shape, and has never indulged in any kind of excesses (which Fury has done multiple times) in boxing, the physique is also fundamental... to be durable, you can't always go "100 miles an hour", if you know what I mean... and Fury won many of his fights thanks to talent, not his physical preparation; only that for the first time in his career, Fury knows that he is facing an opponent who is more technical than him, and who will surely run out of energy long after him

Excellent analysis.

Somewhere along the line, the boxing world forgot the conventional wisdom about fighting shorter guys with shorter arms. If you take the fight to the inside against a shorter and faster man, you're only hurting yourself. It's what Joshua did against Ruiz and is also what everybody seems to want Fury to do. The talk now is that Fury should use his jab and reach but also come forward more, throw more punches, and make it more physical? Some of those are mutually exclusive and won't work regardless.
The more punches he throws, the more Fury will be open. In the middle rounds, Usyk tried to move out of range of Fury's attacks, but by the last third, he stood his ground and countered. The big shot in the 9th came off a two-punch combination from Fury, one of which landed, so it's not so simple as just throwing more punches.
Also, Usyk is a fighter who actually understands grappling (he grappled a little as a child and is a close friend of Lomachenko who is an accomplished grappler). Fury can't simply bully him because Usyk gets every advantage in the clinch. He gets good head position, frames off Fury, gets on an angle, and finds an underhook. He is too slippery to consistently lean on, and when you try leaning on something slippery, it only makes you tired. Rewatch the 12th round and see Usyk easily throw Fury into the ropes when Fury tried to clinch. He was the guy with the greater physicality by the end, and I expect this fight to be much the same.
My guess is that Fury starts this fight in much the same way and tires about halfway through.
Daniel dubois vs joseph parker is going to be a very good boxing match.🔥🔥
In the Heavyweight division and in boxing generally...styles make fights. I think Parker's style may be all wrong for Dubois. Daniel likes fighting against guys who come forward to brawl. He hates guys who outbox their opponents
Both boxers deserve a good pay day. Hope there's some good momentum with media and hype going into the match.
Great match, great mixup of styles. I give an edge to Parker here, but Dubois has been looking good and has that big power.
Daniel ate Joshua's big punches and still kept coming. His strong jab alone will push Joe back. An awesome fight for someone.
I think it'll be a good scrap. Parker more durable and versatile than AJ, and has a better tank than Dubois and a bigger skillset. DDD is a harder puncher and has the young mans legs and determination. It's 50/50 for me.
1:43 John walking out like it’s his night 😂
Man, I love this channel.
There is a couple of rounds in there that is worrying that they scored for Fury instead of Usyk.
I agree. The fight was no way a blow out but it was a very clear Usyk win
@chreyzor Your horse won and you still complain. You aren't boxing fans. You're Usyk meatgazers.
I agree I couldn't believe it when they announced that it was a split decision. Unfortunately the powers that be seem to want Fury to win. If I was team Usyk I'd be wanting Usyk to stop Fury, take it outta the hands of the Judge's.
That happens every fight in boxing
Fury won 6 clear rounds so watch it again only this time put your glasses on or remain blind
Perfect analysis of each round and including each judge scorecard. It made perfect sense.
What on Earth makes Rummy think that Fury was backed up voluntarily?
Thank you, this was a great breakdown. Hoping that Usyk can repeat.
*I really love ❤️ this video because it is not biased and gives credit where it is due !!!*
this is the definitive breakdown of the fight
It’s WAY too Fury biased. Just listen to how he’s spinning what is happening on screen. Whack.
BEST analysis video on RUclips in all of Sports.
Thank you for filling my journey home.
You are overstating Fury's success. He lost by a lot. The judges were straight up wrong.
Maybe you are straight up wrong?
Very wrong. Your right.. judges were Biased..
Cant just refute a 26 minute video of analysis with 1 sentence lol
@@bareknuckles2u No he isnt but you are.
Yes this was a clear usyk win 8/4 The deluded fan boys and bias commentators should watch the fight at half speed.
Another great video from Uncle Rummy
But what do I know 😂
usyk-fury sure wasnt close enough for a SD
Apparently Usyk only won by a point lol. Even if he legitimately was better in only 6 rounds then that knockdown makes it 7 for him.
@@stevekook-xw3is fr I scored it 115-113 or 116-112 live for usyk
@@stevekook-xw3is Fury was ahead by a couple points when the knockdown happened... and than Usyk coasted the last round giving it to Fury. The close scorecards made sense to me.
@@djlabs1975 how lol. Usyk won 1,2,3. fury 4,5,6. usyk 7,8,9,10,11. =8-4 for Usyk and a 10-8 round as well...
I really like this recap because it downright dismisses the myth that this fight was one sided, Fury was in fact winning until round 9 in a 12 round fight. This was absolutely not one sided, and was a lot closer than many want to admit.
Definitely not winning by round 9 , but good fight until then
Craig Metcalfe (who scored the 11th for Fury) should not be allowed to judge any boxing match ever again.
Fury is better .
Fury is a better fighter than Usyk
@@JoshBlake-wu5xwhaha no chance
Fury won the 11th, I watched the fight back at .25 speed just to make sure I saw everything correctly. Fury was robbed.
Stick to playing guitar poorly
All of that slow-mo really makes me notice how much the referee was getting in the way. No offense to Nelson but they need a younger man who can move a bit more in there. When you've got a giant like Fury stumbling around, he covers so much ring space quickly, you really gotta hustle to get out of there.
hes the same ref that got accidentally punched by a boxer
It wouldn't have changed the fact Fury after getting caught did a damn impressive job while rocked to slip most of Uysk's punches. I swear any other boxer would've gotten hit clean by all of that and put to sleep.
Anthony Joshua got saved by the referees 6 times against Ruiz and Dubois but still got knocked out/quit 😂
Seriously. Usyk literally had to push him out of the way mid fight. Terrible job.
Fury is coming I heavier for the rematch. This means Fury is going for and needs the KO. Fury will struggle to keep up with Usyk for 12 rounds being heavier so he will need the KO before round 8 in my opinion.
You're right, but i think this is a bad strategy on Fury's part. He should have kept a lower weight, focusing on improving his stamina and win on points. This way i predict that he will still not be able to ko Usyk and he will end up losing all the later rounds.
If I am right, Usyk has only got knocked down twice, in the amateurs. He can take a punch. Maybe because he concentrates so well, so he's always aware and braces well(?). Anyway, I see Usyk doing what he couldn't in rd9, and I'd say a KO/TKO will happen between rds 8-11. Second bet is a decision for Usyk, and its similar to you, because of Fury's weight, he categorically won't keep up with usyk, so I think he'll be a punchbag in last few rounds. Yet I can see him riding them because being heavier will help him soak up Usyk's shot
All the talk from the Turkey man leads me to believe that Usyk might get ripped off this time around.
Nah I think Turki is just protecting his investment by talking up the underdog (Fury) to maintain interest in the fight.
Everything I''ve seen and heard up until a few weeks ago, is that Turki prefers and favours Usyk as a person and a fighter.
He's promoting, that's all. You know when promoters lie? When their lips move...
What makes you say that? I’m genuinely curious?
What has the Turkey man been saying? 👍
The nearly ripped him off the first time. The cards were utter trash. I wouldn’t be surprised.
There's definitely a financial interest in Fury winning and making a trilogy of this. With Wilder and Joshua faded, there are no big names behind these two. So, if this one goes to the cards, I'd take Fury easy.
@weedyp
Quite a few times in this build up, Turki has said that everyone is hoping for a tyson win.
Personally I don't care, Fury was always his favorite, it can't be denied, at least he's being open and honest about it.
RUMMY "The Boxing Scholar" This was Clearly the Best Video of your career! Made me wonder if we followers even deserve you. Thank You so much for an Absolute Masterpiece ! ! ! ! ! I Enjoy the Fight today!!!! Love you bro.

Stoked to enjoy these historic fights with all of y’all.
Boxing is the only sport that sends me out of my seat screaming before I even knew that I was up and screaming.
This is the best analisys of a boxing match i have ever seen
Excellent job breaking down the fight.
Fury HAS to win - but nobody alive, or dead will be remotely surprised if Usyk wins again, he's my pick. I will be less surprised if it's a draw - do not be surprised if it's a draw - because 1 for 1 has less appeal for the box office - so boringly, for me Tyson will again be battered about the shop and yet win the split decision that went against him in the previous bout - to set up the inevitable bout 3, which Tyson Fury will lose. There are millions at stake. This is not boxing.
Sadly, I think you're right
Awesome break down . Too good mate. 👍
Great video as always Rummy 👍
listened to this while driving to work; the insightful analysis, the vivid prose, that unique voice and cadence . . . i didn't even need the video to get the picture. oof marone, this guy! what fkn talent!
Wow, usyk got the stamina, determination, speed and focus, that's his success story
Very clear win for Usyk. He had Fury backpedaling the whole fight and won 2/4 of the first four rounds and won the last 6, so I also agree 116-112 for Usyk. Usyk was the aggressor through most of the fight, threw more punches, landed more punches, landed more effective punches to the body and face. Many of Fury's punches were actually blocked in full or partially by Usyk.
I never really noticed how high Fury's beltline was. It's so high it works defensively to protect his stomach, which is a legitimate target.
Like the judges you gave fury more credit than he deserved, usyk won this bout 8/4 minimum and i say 9/3 in the rematch, furys dirty tactics and clinching low blows etc still couldnt deter usyk. I am graetful that this fraud was finally exposed.
That crazy looping left hook Usyk pulls out, whilst leaning forward and to the right is a bomb in the making, and reminiscent of Sugar Ray Leonard using it against The Hitman in their two fights. The Hitman could never see it or counter it! Hopefully Fury does better this time!
I think Fitzgerald did a really bad job as a judge that night.
Love your videos you always keep it real
Simply the best summary of the fight. Thank you
Thank you very much, much appreciated.
Great work Quasi. On point as always.
I wish we could see a rule change in professional boxing which would force judges to upload their scoring at the end of each round. This would give fighters the chance to see how they're doing in a fight in real time, instead of guessing, and it would improve strategy.
I’ve heard the argument against this that fighters knowing they’ve gotten off to an early lead can coast the rest of the fight without engaging much.
❤
Judges upload their scores at the end of each round in Olympics. Anthony Joshua lost to Savon and Cammerelli in 2012 Olympics but corrupt judges gifted him the gold😂
Scores should not be disclosed until the end,it is for the fighter and his corner to determine their status. There is a chance judges would be influenced by the others scoring if theory could see it rather than submit their own score. Judges can be scrutinised after the event, whereby nothing ever usually happens if it was dodgy.
It’s called open scoring, has been done. The WBC I think (or might be the IBF) title fights used to be open scorecards. There’s a huge negative though, when fighters know they’re up in the cards they coast and spoil to avoid the ko/10-8rd
10:06 If Fury wins, this is how.
I'll come back here on Dec 21st
It didn't work here🙄
Completely agree. Maybe not at the start of the round, but definitely think that upper cut while usyk comes in will play a massive role and might be the fight winner.
@areallybigdwarf4560 what happened? Fury still lost
Great video as always rummy! I think one of those overhand lefts in round 6 or 7 busted Fury's nose cause he fought scared and sloppy until he was put on his feet
Aj fans just replaced their Aj picture with Usyk.
Excellent 👌
Whatever helps you sleep at night, guy with a Fury profile picture.
Said the guy with Fury's picture lmao Get over it bro. You can't have your whole life revolve around "AJ is a dosser"
What?
Yeah we did!
Another great video, Rummy
As soon as Fury started head hunting in the last fight it was downhill. The body work was working well, then he stopped.
Because Usyk adjusted also Fury threw a few that were at least borderline.
@henryb1555 he didn't adjust, other than complaining. Fury just started head hunting. Just like the Dubious body shot that he pretended was low too. It's his only weakness it seems. It's far harder to avoid body shots than those to the head, it just leaves yourself more exposed because you obviously have to lower your arm away from your head to throw the body shot.
@@RockoBam1 lol, you are deluded, you will cry a lot after 21st Dec ... you big boy, biiig big booooylinky. :))
@@RockoBam1 He did adjust, you are blind. Usyk's has incredible ring IQ.
Usyk gets hurt to the body
Such a great video! Thanks!
The sizer difference never fails to impress me. Fury is massive, a giant, Usyk seems like a kid holding his ground against the Mountain.
Awesome, thanks for the upload Rummy!
Great recap; thank you.
The biggest mistake that Fury made in the first match was that he failed to keep his focus throughout the fight and this "nonchalance" cost him in the end... I am convinced that it will not happen again in this second match, that is, that Fury is very took this second fight seriously and will not allow himself a moment of weakness during the fight... In the first fight, Usyk showed everything that Usyk is, which is incredible focus, preparation and patiently waiting for Fury's mistake, which eventually happened. .. This time i am convinced that Fury will not allow himself to do that and that on 21.12. Fury will come out of that fight as a winner... And that's what all fans want, i.e. a TRILOGY... 😎
Brilliant break down, as usual
No rummy prediction? I was waiting on it...
I've been anticipating this video, have not watched it yet but wanted to convey the exitement, one of Rummy's awesome video's generates. 😮 But what do I know? I'm not ....
Great breakdown as we head into thw rematch. Thanks Rummy!!
Came back to see the post fight video and figured I'd stick around. Good shit, usyk
"Making Usyk Come to him " 😂 ... He was being pressured, he tried to hold centre ring in the first round and saw that usyk was all business . If he comes forward , he'd make Usyk's work easier
This is what many don't realise. Fury knows he can't just press. He'll walk into counters.
Thanks, Rummy…..what an exciting upcoming fight!
Excellent commentary!
Great breakdown :) Super excited for the rematch!
Absolute superb breakdown , where did you get thst footage. Very good 👍
I thought the fight was very close and could have gone either way / I think the right man got the decision.
We didn't see the same fight.
If Fury lost far more rounds, threw far less punches, LANDED far less punches AND got knocked down (almost knocked out) in the 9th ..... HOW THE HELL could he was WON THE FIGHT? XD
Wasn't very close actually. Try again.
Thanks for the brilliant analysis and video Rummy! ❤
My guess (writing this only hours before the fight takes place) is that Fury will hope to replicate his second match with Deontay Wilder.
Fury will go on the attack looking for the knock-out. He will chase Usyk around landing big shots.
If I were Usyk - I'd be moving, and investing in the body and trying to survive until Fury tires-out and madly going for the knock-out also.
Surely Usyk knows NOT to leave it in the judges hands this time, if he can help it.
All the talk around a "trilogy" between these two Heavyweights would have me pretty worried if I was Usyk...
As always, best boxing channel on RUclips... I agree the slight advantage is with Usyk. Hopefully Fury comes into the fight in good shape ready to rock, but Usyk looks like he's in the best shape of his life. Not to suggest that boxing is fixed at all, but if Fury can pull out a win or a draw, the third and final fight will probably be the richest fight in boxing history ....
I had Uysk winning the first 3 rounds🤷♂️
He did, fury rounds were the mid fight 4/5 /6 The nose punch totally changed the fight later on.
Usyk completely outlanded Fury in the first 3
Yeah, I had Usyk winning 1-3, Fury winning 4-7 and Usyk winning the rest.

Hey Rummy - love your insights and videos man. I have a question: are you sponsored by DAZN?
Rummy, I've been a boxing fan for 60 years. Of course, I've heard commentary from many sportscasters. You are top tier. When I see you have posted I stop everything and watch it, this one included!
Usyk will win again. He is a better boxer than Fury and knows how to get inside effectively. Why should this fight be any different than the previous one?
P.S., It's not the size of the bee in the fight, it's the size of its sting! Usyk has plenty of sting!
great video as always rum. saludos 🇲🇽
Brilliant video Rummy. I think the only way fury wins is to be able to add his clinch game, tie Usyk up and wear him out over time. If Usyk is allowed to dance, I think Usyk does it again. This will be a great end to 2024 boxing; one of the best years for the sport in recent memory.
Thanks Rummy, great breakdown.
Svaka čast..izvrstan pregled prvog meča..pozdrav iz Zagreba Croatia 🇭🇷✌
Fury's pissed now. I can absolutely see a Round 5 TKO for the Gypsy King. 👑 💯
Going for Usyk but I think it’s a true 50/50
How can it be 50/50 after Usyk dominated the first fight? XD
Makes no sense.
Great vídeo!
I scored the fight 8-4 in favor of Usyk and if we’re being generous to Fury maybe 7-5. I don’t know how anyone could score it in favor of Fury. Usyk was the constant aggressor, nothing Fury him with wobbled him like a DVD menu screen like Usyk did to Fury. Usyk won fair and square and should have gotten the TKO or unanimous decision.
Great analysis 👍
Great breakdown Rummy 10/10 👌
Yes, thanks Rummy. Fantastic video. But where is your Quasimodo prediction?
The title of this, coming from Rummy... I'm excited 😅
Outstanding breakdown, excellent work. Can't wait till Saturday night. Should be a great rematch. I'm going with Fury, but to beat Usyk will be difficult. Probably won't be surprised by whatever happens, these guys are the two best and they really match up great. Thanks!
Rummy the best in the business! What surprised me upon rewatching it tonight for the first time since the day after (3/4 times in total) was how Fury ended the fight looking like he had more in the tank. That was not the narrative i remember, maybe because the Boxing media have convinced me over the past month that Fury just about hung on.
Roll on Saturday!!
Two great boxers. In fact more than great, two legends. This gonna be a great great great fight
Best breakdown yet 👌
Fury is going to take this win down Rummy!
Fury managed to draw with bumsquad Wilder. Pathetic.
I'll come back here on Dec 21st
We’ll see i honestly don’t know
@sly_tendencies87 what happened? Fury still lost 😂😂😂😂
Well at least you put your head on the block. Usyk has shown this heavyweight division up. Fury has twice been beaten by a much smaller man. He held every physical advantage and yet wasn't good enough, simply not in the same league as Usyk when it comes to the art of boxing.
Regarding stamina, I mean, Fury is like the p4p stamina king. I don’t see how much he could improve his stamina given his size and weight. he’s never going to match up to Usyk there, but that’s because he’s lugging around 40+lbs more. Clear advantage to Usyk, but not actually one that’s Fury’s fault. Say what you want about Fury, but whatever he’s doing for conditioning training is clearly damn good.
Imagine if Zhang had Fury’s gas tank. Yikes.
Fury says he's floating around 295 this time to Usyk's 225. That's a huge difference in addition to his massive reach advantage.
Rummy, my man, I sincerely hope you read your comments because I would love your thoughts about this:
In my opinion, Usyk has already done enough to put himself in the conversation to be in the all-time top 10 Heavyweights. Even the people who think he's not top 10 would probably agree that he's just outside it, in the top 15 maybe. Assuming Usyk wins the rematch, and further assuming that Usyk does not immediately retire, how many more fights would he have to win before people would start meaningfully comparing him to Ali? Is there currently enough talent at heavyweight for him to get that kind of resume?
If he beats Fury twice, and then goes on to beat Parker, Kabayel, and Zhang (for example), is that enough? We are witnessing a third great era of heavyweight talent. If Usyk got a few more wins against quality competitors, could you see a place for him *above* Lewis, Holmes, Foreman, and Frazier? Above Holyfield and Tyson?
Usyk, in my opinion, is not motivated to be the greatest of all time in the way Ali was. I don't think he feels the same drive to prove himself (and that's a more complicated issue that involves the civil rights movements at the time), and he also hasn't had the same caliber of slugfests taking a toll on him that he needed to persevere through. On the one hand, we would like to see that he has that heart to fight on (and maybe we'll get that in the rematch with Fury), but on the other hand he would need to find someone who is truly on his level, and that hasn't happened yet.
(Lowkey I'm also asking for an updated all-time top 10 heavyweight ranking from you, love your channel, keep doing what you're doing.)
Rating Usyk all-time at heavyweight is a tricky proposition, and notwithstanding the pending rematch, I imagine opinions will widely vary on him in the future.
I may try and do a Top 25 Heavyweights at some point early next year.
It's really not a bad point you're making, I myself am wondering where I'd place him in the all time heavy weight rankings.
A big problem though is, everyone shits on the best of the heavyweight Era these days, Fury is washed, AJ was never that good, etc etc (not my opinion btw)
You cannot be considered great when your opponents are constantly questioned in terms of skill.
I personally would put him edging into the top 10, around 11 and 12ish, but I think things change if he wins the rematch.
@@RummysCorner If you do, I'll be the first one to click on that when it goes live.
Tyson comes back strong in rematches. If he can't here. He's probably done. My gut tells me he finds a way to win this one. Not sure why. Logic says uysk.
Both men are going for a KO this time and it’s gonna be brilliant for us to watch
I'm still surprised that Fury was able to land so many uppercuts. The camera's perspective is obviously different, but those long punches look telegraphed from miles away--a far cry from the short, crisp uppercuts of vintage Mike Tyson, for ex.
Maybe Usyk just figured that was the price he had to pay to get inside. For me that's a big key to the rematch: avoiding that punch.
One thing is for sure, Tyson had his trunks up waaay to high on his waist. I'm surprised it was even allowed.
To hide his greedy belly
it is because Usyk claims his balls are on his navel.
Perfect analysis of taking a knockdown it is almost always better for fighter to take a knee. Try to recover in 10 seconds then get a barrage of punches and try to recover while still getting a knockdown in this particular matter. I like Daniel Dubois who immediately takes a knee as soon as he feels rocked
I was just mentioning this fight this afternoon to some people. Glad to have this upload pop into my notifications. Right on time.
Thanks Rummy!
A much better fight than I first thought.
Good stuff as usual Rummy!
At the time, I certainly had this a very close fight, and in TRUTH, I actually thought Fury had JUST done enough, but wasn't 100% sure.
What I'd really like from the judges, is CLEAR uniformity on the rounds scored! They need to be UNANIMOUS in their decisions, round by round.
Three Judges all seated on one side of the Ring aren't going to deliver a score that accurately reflects the criteria for scoring when not all of them are going to see effective aggression, defence, Ring generalship, clean punches landed, in the same way, or as the same thing as each-other, Fury - Usyk 2 is going to have a trial AI Judge, how exactly that is going to be factored in we'll have to see...
I think Fury found the key to beating Usyk in this fight but it was too late in the fight and he didn’t do enough of it. Usyk has a high guard and being a southpaw he proved vulnerable to right hands to the body. Fury landed some nice ones that seemed to bother Usyk. I think any future contender is going to have to invest downstairs heavily and early. Also Usyk seemed to do his best work when moving forward or when he had Fury trapped in a corner. I think fighters are gonna have to do a better job of maintaining center ring. Also, I hate to say it but I think anyone who wants to beat Usyk is gonna have to make things more physical and tie him up immediately when he gets close if only to frustrate him and make him exert energy. Of course the rematch has already happened so we’ll see what the future holds. Thanks Rummy!
No one breaks the "sweet science" down like you Rummy! I see the first fight as Usyk KOing Fury out in the 9th. Any other fight with any other ref, would have either let Usyk finish or waved it off. IMO
