A Day in the life of A Medical Affairs Manager

Alexia is an experienced applied health services researcher and epidemiologist with a background leading and designing real world data and evidence synthesis studies. She is currently the Real World Data Operations Manager for Pfizer UK, where she identifies opportunities to build strategic partnerships, develop resources for generating, monitoring and assessing impact of real world studies across medical affairs. Prior to this she held various roles in academia, NICE, Health Canada and US CDC with a focus on public health initiatives ranging from immunization coverage, infectious disease surveillance and alcohol harm reduction. She’s published extensively in various high impact journals.
Alexia has a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Leeds and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Toronto. She lives with her husband and son in Yorkshire. In her spare time you’re likely to find her running through the local parks or trails, stretching on a yoga mat or indulging in a creative pursuit (currently that’s learning to sew).
