- An update to a previous video presenting the best leather cases for the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max series. The Leather MagSafe Case from LUMAZI is my new favorite, from the quality of the full-grain leather, to the design and functionality, to the color options. Taupe is my personal favorite this year. It's one of the pricier options, but you get what you pay for, including a lifetime warranty and free shipping. The company says they are working on getting this same quality of case to the Samsung Galaxy series "soon."

They look identical to Bullstrap, probably same manufacturer, you saying better quality? The policy is almost the same, like the taupe color, you think it would work with blue titanium?
I asked them about that. They said there are more leather companies than there are tanneries, and more case companies than there are suppliers, so yeah, inevitably they share some of the same manufacturing. I’ve only owned one Bullstrap case. They are about the same in terms of quality probably, but somehow I like these more. Definitely like the Lumazi color selection more. The taupe would look great on both the Natural Titanium and Blue Titanium. Probably why Apple chose taupe as one of its fine woven colors.
@@esthetech I just bought my first Bullstrap only because of closed bottom version as I worry about scratching the blue titanium, it is offered only in Sienna color which is a safe color but I am still on the fence about open bottom, however at that price if they offered a discount code in the future for the taupe color I would probably pull the trigger, enjoy your content as I love leather cases!
Thank you for watching! I’ll always keep my eye out for new cases like this and interesting new colors. I get wanting a closed bottom. With all 4 corners wrapped though, so far nothing has touched the titanium part on the bottom for me. I can’t think of a way it would be touched during a fall, but yeah I’m not about to do a drop test lol.
These look great, and remarkably like Bullstrap. The only issue for me is the branding, it’s quite tacky/obnoxious.
Interesting, is it the name? Logo? I get an opulent sensation from it. Like other brands from that region. I like it. I don’t have a problem with Bullstrap as a brand per se, but for me their marketing is tacky. But yeah, the products are top notch in both cases which I guess is what counts most. I read on IG that several of these companies have to share the same manufacturers and suppliers, so the cases across brands can look quite similar. The manufacturing standards and materials can still vary a bit though. Ryan London has a case that looks like these as well, but not as high quality IMO.

It’s a lot like the Bullstrap. Bit cheaper right now plus free shipping. The Pomegranate is a deep, rich red. I gave in and finally got it lol.
How does the finish feel? Does it have that velvety feel like Bullstrap and Blackbrook? Or does it have the typical slick feel like Andar or the old Apple leather cases?
Definitely that velvety feel like Bullstrap and Blackbrook. I have the Dune Bullstrap and they feel pretty much identical. I think Bullstrap and Lumazi source their leather from the same place. They both specifically mention European and North American tanneries. Easy to tell it’s full grain leather, unlike with the Andar which kinda feels more like top grain at best.

I thought I was the only one who thought the black metal ring on the Andar was an eyesore. Man this may add to the favorite leather case list.
Yup, I think I only wouldn’t mind the black metal ring if my iPhone was also black. But I wasn’t crazy about the quality of the Andar leather either. I mean it’s not bad, but there’s better out there.

Right? The patina is starting to develop on the Taupe one I’ve been using. This kind of case just elevates your whole iPhone experience. Feels great to hold, look at, etc. Class and sophistication, yet simple.
The Taupe is tempting!
For me, every other case just doesn’t look quite as good as it used to on the Pro or Pro Max after this one. Especially on the Natural Titanium and Blue Titanium (I bet the red looks awesome on the Blue Titanium as well). Taupe as a color in general got its popularity from its use on leather. Especially in cars.

No that slate grey from Bullstrap is more of a true grey. Like a very neutral grey. Also nice! But I like the taupe more.
