OMG I love you ladies! You always have me on the floor laughing. I totally agree with you when it comes to Geoff. This is still my favorite cover he's done but his newest release, "High & Dry" is a really close second. It will really blow you both away, I promise. You should also check out VoicePlay's newest release "Carry On Wayward Son". It is in my humble opinion one of, if not the, best song they've ever done.

There's an anthropological theory that women are "programmed" to physically react to tall, deep-voiced men because they are better hunters, providers and protectors. I would have to personally agree -- he makes my inner cavewoman very happy. My late hubby was 6'4", and I have to agree. Him, Geoff, Tim Foust, and Avi drive me nuts in the best kind of way!

Please watch Pentatonix’s Hallelujah. It is probably one of the top 5 best versions of that songs ever. But just so you have some knowledge going into PTX:
Scott: Tall Blonde Boy, sings Baritone. He has been friends with Kirstin and Mitch ever since 1st grade. He has a separate channel called Superfruit which is just him and Mitch.
Mitch: Boy with Dark Hair, sings Tenor/Counter Tenor. He changes his look almost every video so he almost never looks the same, but it’s always him.
Kirstin: Only female in the group, sings Mezzo Soprano. She changes her look the same of not more than Mitch.
Matt: Black guy, sings bass. He wasn’t always in PTX. He joined the group in late 2017- early 2018 after the groups og Bass, Avi, left the group.
Kevin: Other Black guy, does vocal percussion/ sings tenor. He is insanely talented. Before joining PTX he had just graduated from Yale and was going to Med school. He plays the cello and the saxophone. He also speaks fluent Chinese and Mandarin.
Avi: Shorter black haired guy, has a beautiful beard, sings bass. Avi was the groups orginal bass, from 2011-2017. He is a trained opera singer. He has a basso profundo voice which means deep low bass. That means that his low chest range is really rich and powerful compared to Tim/Geoff, even though Both can go lower than Avi. He left PTX on good terms, so there is no hate between anyone. His solo projects are absolutely beautiful. If you want to check out his solo stuff I suggest starting with Change on the Rise.
Pentatonix won the NBC’s season three Sing Off. After that they began posting RUclips videos of them singing acapella. They also coached Home Free through the finale of The Sing Off season 4, which Home free won. Tim also taught Avi how to expand his range and taught him how to do growl techniques.
I agree!!! But pentatonix is my favorite .. lol so I love everything they do!!!
The average vocal range is 2 octaves, 2 1/2 if you're really blessed. This dude hits 3! That's insane and very rare! The only other person who could do that, that I know of, was Julie Andrews. No wonder he can be an entire choir!
this dude has 4, Geoff is literally insane, VoicePlay's "Oogie Boogie Man" song and "Little Mermaid Melody" really show how incredible Mr Castelluci's voice is

I don't know if you noticed, but on that last note you could still say it was a sung word not just a sub harmonic rumble... By that I mean his diction was still solidly audible, from the "N" to the "T" of the word night.
