Cool, but i don't understand what you're clearing ? the clearance is between the composition right owners (or the composers/songwriters), each one is represented by his PRO/CMO, when the conflict ends, they all get their parts of the composition royalties, if you looking to buy a license and create a release, the license contract gives you 100% on master record rights, and 50% on composition rights, so there is no issue on digital/physical distribution, but when you try to publish your work into a publishing entity or you try to register your release on your PRO/CMO you will get issues because of the composition part of the work, cause i automaticaly submit all my musical compositions and my placements into my publishers (sony music publishing & beatstars publishing), who on their turn register the works into my CMO (SACEM), that's how the mechanism of the intelectual rights works, most of artists who use my works with no license ends with take-downs on DSPs and get walls with publishers and CMOs, but professionnal artists know this and they automaticaly sends me their IPI and their legal names to start the publishing process ... tha(s it, hope you understand what i'm talking.
