Great song selection. Great work Erik. You have really inspired me. I bet Elan will always want to be in the caboose. You are a great dad. You are making so many great memories and moments for your son.
Wonderful!!! We have been running with 2 Plum Cove Generic Electrics and 3 pflats for about 18 plus years in our backyard Montana Eastern Railroad, very similar to yours. We have had so many train parties with cookouts and a lot of fun. I like what you have done with the loco body and that caboose is the ticket.
Very nice! It’s good to hear how well the Plum Coves have worked out! I think we’re planning on another one already and double heading so we can have maybe one or two more cars in tow with a couple more people. …And the yard parties and bonfires, we can’t wait!! We’ve already been doing quite a bit having all the neighborhood kids on for rides. The adults are still feeling it out 😂😂
WOW look at the smile on your face, that is awesome. You are the happiest of the the E&E. I would be as well, you have done a great job. It all looks great. Happy railroading.
Well, it may not be the longest 7.5" gauge road....but it's right up there with the widest. LOLOL Now to get the rest of the track laid and then it's fun time !!!
Look at your ##it eating grin on your face can't wait to get settled in Montana and get mine done. Keep up the great work Someone once said "Great things take time discover and pursue your dreams and never look back you only live once and Believe in yourself and always try to do your best" I elaborated a little on this quote it's 6 quotes I put into one. Great job.
Thats awesome to see everything rolling!!! Great work on the caboose, elan fits perfectly! Love the Burlington northern scheme on your loco! Great song too! Take Care E&E
Well, we weren’t satisfied with the lights we originally planned for the loco, so we have a new one on now and have yet to show everyone in a video. But we basically bought a “backup” light that you can put on the back of cars 😂

What type of head light did you use? Where from? Good work.

Also will you guys ever have a steam engine on the backyard Railroad
No plans for that, yet. But maybe. Steam is quite the journey.
Would you ever consider bringing the whole train consist to Train Mountain, that would be fun, and I feel like your son would love it as well
Yes! Absolutely! But there’s a lot of work to do to become more mobile and be able to travel. But yes, over time, it’d be fun to visit other places!
I actually want to get one of these and make it a 25 Tuner
