Castle of Biar. 4K - 2020

Hello All,
Today I want to share with you my new discovery I made on the way form Alicante to Valencia - don't miss an opportunity to visit a picturesque town of Biar, with magnificent castle on the top of the mountain surrounded by old part of town.
This can easily be a half day trip or a full day with sightseeing around other beautiful spots around Alicante region.
Access to the BIAR castle (Castillo de Biar) can be a bit steep at times, but traditional Spanish stone cladding buildings on each side of the road will provide plenty of shade during hot summer days. Remember to make it to the top of The Castle, as the entrance is only 3 euro during high season and is totally worth it. The Main castle tower of Biar will give you a 360-degree panorama that is breathtaking.
Old part of town has a few good spots to relax, to grab a bite and a few refreshing drinks. Main square is spacious and beautiful. Couple of hotels are available to choose from. Easy connection with other castles only 15-20 min away if you want to discover more Spanish Gems on the way.
If you are traveling with kids make sure to stop by in “Parque Playmobil de Biar” with long stretch of greenery and set of playgrounds. Park will give you natural shade from the trees with few local bars close by.
