I agree with Dan Heng in this situation. We just want to help them. But if they don't want to, that's fine. We will leave, but all the lost will go to them (Amphoreus). Also, if Aglaea killed us, they would lose more. I only choose to stay because Phainon genuinely apologize to us and asked for our help to stay.
aglaea was never actually going to kill dh and the tb even if they lied all 4 times. she explains this in the story herself (i believe while speaking to tribbie), how she only planned to exile them if they lied, and her saying death was the punishment for lying was just as a means to test the tb’s will.
Aglaea didnt planned on really killing us. She said herself when chatting with tribbie. Everyone knows that if trailblazer died, it would activate the stellaron and would just make amphoreus' situation worse.

Ngl, the choices i made weren't even intentional but my genuine response to Aglea and i triggered this ending. The trailblazer and dan heng helped defend their city even though they were also complete strangers to us. Just one random dude had the indecency to look into another person's personal album and WE are sentenced to die. They are the ones who brought us here and wanted us as allies. Heck even Aglea already tested our sincerity about not leaking any information with her golden threads in the bath scene. Yet she just immediately took such a drastic action and needed to test us further. That genuinely made me not like her and not pull for her.
It was not a test. She did this to increase the bound between the party. She knows the true feelings of everyone involved. The astral crew doesn't care about the world, they value their friends more than anything. Castorice who is not close to anyone is surprisingly attached to the MC. And Phainon is deeply scared. With her act as "villain", she exposed the true intentions of everyone. - The Crew will not stay for the world, but for their new friend, Phainon who "saved their lives". - Castorice chose to save the MC instead of following her orders and protect the city. - Phainon found new friends that will face gods with smiles in their faces, just because he asked. She not only created the strongest party, but she even treated their mental health. A true Goddess.
@@navalhabr she didn't do this to increase the bond between the party members seeing as we barely knew each other, not all of the chrysos heirs were present and the trial would've taken place no matter what happens. She only changed the the punishment from banishment to straight up death when she learned that Castorice approached Phainon. The trial would've taken place regardless and was about us being potential enemies. She didn't just act like a villain. She WAS the villain. She already tested our sincerity once with her powers in the bath. There was no need to test us again. She already saw Phainon vouching for us time and time again. She saw us protecting her people and her city. However despite all of that, she took us to trial and didn't trust us at all. She was even withholding information and wasn't willing to inform us of the dangers. However despite that, we didn't pressure her for information. She doesn't know the true feelings of everyone involved since the astral express doesn't seem to be part of that everyone you said. What she did wasn't justifiable no matter the reason. It was straight up betrayal in the face of Dan heng and the trailblazer. Her original plan was to banish us over a crime we didn't commit intentionally. She can sense our emotions and soul and see our sincerity but was still not trusting us. Moreover, she lied straight up to our face. She said we shouldn't inform the others of the worlds beyond the sky so as not to give false us but in reality she was worrying about us being enemies and bringing destruction to her city.

There's currently nothing wrong with my complaints about Aglea's actions even considering that cutscene between Tribbie and Aglea. Looking at it from the trailblazer's perspective, she's wrong. Looking at it from Aglea's perspective, she still did wrong. Nothing about what she did helps her. Remember the trial was about us leaking information about the worlds beyond the sky and it was very unnecessary and straight up insulting to her potential allies. She still wanted to test our resolve to help her despite being able to sense our emotions and thoughts and after already testing us once. Moreover her methods were wrong.
Honestly i didnt realize how fucked Amphoreous would be if they were to actually kill us like first of all we have Himeko that weilds a godamn orbital laser which has shot down a giant robot before and also Welt who literally has the power of a blackhole in his cane and ntm the fact that we are a literal ticking nuclear bomb which could basically destroy all of Amphoreous like Yarilo-6 in an instant and is probably also the thing that is infecting the titans in the first place

A flawed character isnt so bad, agleae is lowkey shooting herself in the knee with all this paranoia, but still i hope she gets some good character development, flawed characters are usually very satisfying to see their stories
To be honest, I'm a little annoyed that I have to help them. Literally, if Phainon had been 10 seconds late, we would have been dead. The trial was not fair and as Dan Heng said, Amphoraeus is not the only planet to go to. But as surely the only way to help March is to cooperate with them and I don't want to let my wife die... Saying that exposes you to be an HSR player yourself since you know your own best, which throws you into this demographic as well. The interrogation improved nothing. It does not change the fact that they're journeying together, which would help both parties to know each other better anyway. All that did was remove herself from that picture. Unless Aglaea really plans to sacrifice herself for Amphoreus in the future, this decision makes no sense.
She has every right to be worried tho. Their planet is on the brink of destruction. For all they know we could very well be the “curse from beyond the sky” that cause their titans to go haywire or invaders that sought to take over their planet. Either way we weren’t in their prophecy and she is afraid of outside variables that altered their fate.
But she has a reason. Potential allies are only potential. Once you know for certain that they are on your side then you’re not under scrutiny. To blindly trust outlanders is a bigger threat than having reservations to their motives and how they act.
I wouldn’t trust TB and Dan Heng either. Last time someone or something came from beyond the sky everything went crazy. They could be potential allies but they could also bought disaster.
Aglaea's too focused on order that she failed to recognize that she was pushing away people who were helping to save lives. By sentencing Dan and the Trailblazer to Death, over ONE broken promise, she had shown what lies behind her warm and welcoming demeanor. Even though Amphoreus has Titans and not Aeons, she would make a fine emanator for Ena.

@@vincentwijaya5479 To be fair, we don't know at what point in our journey March's condition started to go the way it does by the end but the fake ending seems to suggest she was still just feeling ill when we returned, plus we know full well there's other places to go to refuel. The only ones who get a guaranteed bad ending out of us leaving is this world because without the trailblazer's abilities they can't fulfill the prophecy.

Seeing people's reaction to Aglaea was interesting. I personally chose to stay not because of Amphoreus, but for the whole Trailblaze fuel problem we have. Going to Lushaka or (the other choice that i forgot the name of) would only delay the inevitable of our fuel running empty, so I see it that it's more beneficial that we stay to get our fuel. I'm basically treating Amphoreus like a gas station pit stop...
I'm kind of torn on it. On the one hand, she wants to protect her city because the last time people tried to leave Amphoreus, a whole city was leveled. I can understand that. On the other hand, she had us make a promise with no context as to why or even a plausible cover for us when asked where we were from. She could've explained that to us and why it was so taboo. Honestly we did everything we could've been expected to reasonably do, it was hardly our fault that some crazy idiot decided to start shouting at the top of every building he could find because he saw a some photos of March.
Same here, I liked that her decisions made discussions in the community. I kinda get what she comes from but I feel like the whole interrogation thing can be avoided if she explained the consequences. Sure DH and MC should been more careful especially dying civilization that relied heavily on fate and gods. However, I felt her decisions was on the roll of a gambit here. Still I can't wait for future patches of this character. If she gets worse, I don't mind it.
Really funny that we saved a citizen's life and the person in charge at no point acknowledged that, and it was due to their negligence for never monitoring the social media site which Tribbie acknowledged herself right before the interrogation scene, there was a dude ranting about national secrets nonstop on there left completely unchecked and the government makes 2 random schmucks who don't know anything take responsibility. THEY were unable to locate the problem nor pacify Damiosis before he nearly willingly threw himself to his death so we were FORCED to step in despite never actually doing anything wrong. Him seeing the picture and jumping to a ton of conclusions can't reasonably be blamed on us, especially given how little information we were given regarding the consequences of the promise being broken and the authorities had numerous opportunities to step in and prevent the situation from becoming out of hand and spreading and didn't, instead they were too busy secretly monitoring our behaviour instead of just like... saving their own damn citizens from an actual threat I get the point is that they were being unfair deliberately due to suspicion/distrust of outsiders but like wow that interrogation was a farce. The questions were open ended, which makes it borderline impossible to answer with the sincerity she wants, and "half truths that omit things" wasn't mentioned in the briefing as something deserving of getting murdered over. Not only that, but like Dan Heng said she never actually mentioned the consequences for breaking the promise so any sane human being would prioritize saving someone's life over a promise that SEEMS light. The interrogation was a cool scene but in context Aglaea just seems woefully irresponsible and honestly bad at her job, she just seems really bad at relaying rules when they're contingent on whether people live or die. If she had fully explained that the consequence of leaking the truth about space leading to mass casualties, as well as our executions, we definitely would have been more careful preventing the information from spreading (never would have shown others the camera in the first place), might not have stepped in to save that jackass from his impending death if we knew both of our lives were at stake rather than just his own
Not to mention if she was that worried about it, they could've given TB and DH some clothes to fit in. This dude only made himself known to us because our strange clothes tipped him off we weren't from around here.

I don't hate Aglaea for interrogating us. Heck, I find it understandable. I just hate that she made Castorice the one to execute us. Castorice believed in Aglaea and really thought Aglaea was serious in killing us which is why she contact Phainon to stop her.
Seems like it was as much of a test for the two most important heirs as it was for TB and Dan Heng. Castorice was chosen not only because of efficiency, but also to test her character. Which I believe that she failed, as evidenced by Aglaea saying to her smth like "I expect you to speak up about your feelings next time." looks like she has trouble properly expressing herself which is a major weakness. As for Phainon, I'm guessing that he passed since his actions were quick, decisive and determined. He immediately put his thoughts on the table and delivered a reasonable argument.

I'm so glad and not that I didn't pick this option. Glad cause there was no delays in the story quest, and I was able to finish it before bed, and mad cause I just wanted to leave at that point, but the shakiness in phainon's voice and castorice's sorrowful words almost made me tear up. their voice actors are amazing. This is the exact reason why Aglaea should be the main boss of Amphoreus. She shot herself and her people in the foot so many times due to her own paranoia that she failed to see the benefit in allowing assistance from outsiders not tied to the fate of Amphoreus to help her

Would the Xianzhou be able to locate Amphoreus though? Only Memo keepers can remove the illusion Amphoreus was under and Black Swan likely left like this ending too, though Caelus/Steele’s stelaron nuke would probably wipe out most of them

Aglaea pissed me off so much I actually did wanted to choose this option, but didn't for the sake of the story. But damn how I was EVEN MORE pissed off at her when she said to Tribbie "Actually I didn't wanted to kill them, it was just a test, I knew Castorice and Phainon were going to save them." GOSH how I hate her. Can't believe I liked her in the beginning of the quest 🤡
Nah it was a good change of tone and heightened the tension in Amphoreus. It showed us how serious everything are by going as far as to show the heights Aglaea will go to just to make sure everything goes according to her plan. It established 2 important things, us despite being 'aliens' doesn't have ulterior motives, and the fact that the chrysos heirs who vouched for us fully trust us on a deep level, deep enough to defy their de-facto ruler. It's also a great way to characterize Aglaea as an iron-fisted demigod ruler who was jaded by all their past failures, to the point where she will take extreme measures to make sure their mission isn't being compromised, albeit through harsh methods. I don't know why people are taking it personally as if Aglaea went to their room and personally slapped them in the face. I feel like I'm reading through kids' opinions with how much they lack media literacy.

This got me feeling devious for some reason so here's a comprehensive guide on how to inflict maximum pain on Castorice. Let's start. Judging by her actions in the story, it would seem that Castorice is a slightly timid individual with problems expressing herself. And of course, her touch of death. We'll use her own curse to break her down completely. As evidenced in the trailer, it would seem that TB is immune to her curse and we can use that to our advantage. First, let her realize that you're truly immune. If she wishes to confirm it several times, do not refuse. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Once you've established yourself as her sole source of physical comfort, make her realize that what is so significant to her is completely pointless to you. Casually be touchy with other people while in her sight. By doing so you are essentially gaslighting her into thinking that she's a fool for wanting something as simple as physical contact which will lead to her being even more distant from others and cut off any possible help. Next, it's time to turn things up. When she attempts to touch you, exercise your boundaries and refuse to comply. This will make her think that SHE is the weird one for not getting things right. Last but not the least, every trailblazer has their own cute waifu who goes by the name of March 7th, so use her in your diabolical plan. Intentionally be sweet and friendly with her in front of Castorice, just enough to not confirm anything. Why is this important? Because people are their own biggest enemy! After noticing your actions, the subject will likely begin to get paranoid and her imagination itself will fill in the blanks. This is better than outright confirming. Finally, leave Amphoreus unceremoniously to make it clear that this place isn't special at all; just one of the planets saved by the Astral Express. Now, the subject is left all alone just like before, except now she won't be able to endure the solidarity after having a glimpse of companionship. It's like giving gatorade to a snake-it'll forever continue looking for the strange and delicious treat, never to find it again.
Maybe its duly noted, we should always experience the “leave”, “end”, or “finale” in main trailblaze missions because it always brings us back anyways, and why not get to experience a different route, though if you want to continue the story with no interruptions, you do you

They probably didn't really put much consideration into that given they were just gonna loop us back to make us keep going. Would've been kinda amazing if they went full bad ending on us and told us the Trailblazer and Dan Heng got everything set up to leave only to get shot out of the sky a second time and didn't survive the second crash, and either the stellaron in us destabilized and took out the world, or without our help the prophecy was never fulfilled and the world ended for them. Guess they aren't ready to go that dark on a fake ending.

Guys, have you noticed there is something weird going on with the whole flamechase journey? Since it's pretty early in the quest, it's possible that things take a different turn, but have noticed how out of 6 coreflames that were retrieved prior to the arrival of the Trailblazers, only 2 remain in Ocheima? I think it's likely some of the demigods have left Ocheima. Sure, some might be doing some mission outside or just minding their own bussiness. But it's likely not all Crisos Heirs are willing to blindly trust a profecy that no one knows anything about. Who made the profecy? What will happen after all titans fall? What is the nature of the black tide? None of these questions is answered. I, for one, am reticent of trusting a profecy that commands me to overthrow the gods of the world, putting myself in danger, when I cannot even be sure if I am just working for the particular agenda of some evil schemer.
I'm fine with flawed characters, it's their character development that is usually harder to win me over. I wasn't planning on pulling her but depending on how this story handles Algaea, I may consider a rerun.
I don't mind it as well but we should be flawed as well. We continue to help because we're nice but the concept 'Trailblazer will remember that' should also be present. Man im so excited for agalea but damn did i lost my interest with her personality, but its nice to have a story where we dont get trusted easily. I hope in 3.1 we can show our distrust and hesitation with Agalea and not the others.
Bud we did get trusted fairly easily - by Phai and Casti - by the virtue of us fighting side by side with them against an outside threat. It's just that Algae decided to act like a greek goddess in addition to looking the part. And she wasn't even going to follow through on her threats, and I don't know if it makes it any better. I personally feel that she made an unnecessary risk, got next to nothing out of it, lost a lot of goodwill, all with a non-negligible chance of making TB and DH decide to leave (or start a fight (and maybe even win, lol)). I don't even know what was the best case scenario for her there, but it's fair to say that whatever she got was not it.

Aglaea is a psychopath and literally chose to torture us into loyalty instead of at least trying to maintain your relationships with the few allies you have. There is no logical reason for her actions, and she literally admits to changing her plan to a much more brutal one at the last minute out of pure whim. I despise her for her rudeness, but I despise her even more for the fact that her disrespect for her own allies could have cost her people their lives if we hadn't been so heroic and nice. I don't think there's anything she can do to fix that relationships. Thank goodness for Phaenon, at least I don't feel like my character is risking her life for some jerks that don't cost my time

I know people hate Aglaea for what she did but for some reason I want to pull for her. I don't know why but her face feels familiar. Like a Stelleron Hunter I travelled with since the beginning.
The fact that we can just leave just says a lot of how bad of a decision Aglaea has made. I kinda understand why she did it but it's just not the most rational choice. If you want to test the stranger who can be potential ally or even savior, you don't just threaten them with execution on the first day you met them... I was so tempted to leave right there but since I already expected that she did for "greater good" I just stay and look the results of leaving on youtube instead.

People’s reception to Aglaea is funny if you know Kuro Games changed the start of WuWa because CN complained everyone was too mean and distrusting of Rover. People argue they should have ignored those complaints because it would have been better than what we have now, everyone glazing Rover. I thought people wanted characters to have flaws? That’s the complaint about Mavuika right? That she doesn’t have any? Now Aglaea has some pretty blatant ones and people hate her for it.
Nobody with 1 nerve hates Aglea, it just seems weird that after she basically screwed everything up we had to directly choose whether we stay or go. This is actually so dark. All of the secret bad endings are. Not joining the crew at the space station - everyone dies (presumably) and the trailblazer lives a normal and boring life as herta loses interest pretty quickly. Fake first ending of penacony - that’s just creepy. Here? March dies I guess since they didn’t say she got better after leaving amphoreus. Everyone on the planet probably also die or whatever is supposed to happen later in the story. Express makes its final warp jump and ends up in a unhabitable place? Peak cosmic horror for me.
I know that this scene made a lot of people choose to not pull for Aglaea anymore but honestly while I find her actions odd I also understand them, buuuut at the same time I adore flawed characters, I enjoy seeing them in the story and I enjoy seeing how the writers play around with characters having paranoia who are distrusting of everyone, I enjoy seeing characters be complex and make bad choices because that's what happens irl as well, I was debating whether or not I should pull for The Herta or not, since I do enjoy her gameplay, but this scene, funnily enough, made me completely sure that I'll be pulling for Aglaea
Her action is understandable but it was directed against us as the main character i want to imagine myself in this situation and it was just annoying in every way possible, i didn't choose "i promise" rather i said i will try and when i failed they basically kidnapped us because we deserve death for not being "trustworthy" when we made our actions more clear than their vague words
As I see, we weren't guilty of breaking the promise to Aglaea, we gave some guy a camera and He himself looked at the photos, we didn't tell him a thing, yes we did tell him, when he was about to jump of the roof, but only to save this idiot. This was the only time for me, that i've broken the promise. And then Aglaea lures us into a trap, beforehand talking about how trust between hers and us is very important, then uses our trust to restrain us and possibly kill us. Of what help can you talk after a move like that?

To save the trouble basically it's the same thing as penacony. I understand you can't leave as it's the story and it is just a funny joke but why even give us the options? Aglaea truly is a character of all time, like in Penacony I chose to leave first, because I basically went: "🦆 this schmidt I'm out". In Penacony it was because I really distrusted Adventurine and I really didn't want to cooperate with him over Acheron and here it's because of Aglaea basically being a racist 😂

I agree with Dan Heng in this situation. We just want to help them. But if they don't want to, that's fine. We will leave, but all the lost will go to them (Amphoreus). aglaea was never actually going to kill dh and the tb even if they lied all 4 times. she explains this in the story herself (i believe while speaking to tribbie), how she only planned to exile them if they lied, and her saying death was the punishment for lying was just as a means to test the tb’s will.
Aglaea didnt planned on really killing us. She said herself when chatting with tribbie. Everyone knows that if trailblazer died, it would activate the stellaron and would just make amphoreus' situation worse.

Ngl, the choices i made weren't even intentional but my genuine response to Aglea and i triggered this ending. The trailblazer and dan heng helped defend their city even though they were also complete strangers to us. Just one random dude had the indecency to look into another person's personal album and WE are sentenced to die.
They are the ones who brought us here and wanted us as allies. Heck even Aglea already tested our sincerity about not leaking any information with her golden threads in the bath scene. Yet she just immediately took such a drastic action and needed to test us further. That genuinely made me not like her and not pull for her.
It was not a test. She did this to increase the bound between the party.
She knows the true feelings of everyone involved.
The astral crew doesn't care about the world, they value their friends more than anything.
Castorice who is not close to anyone is surprisingly attached to the MC.
And Phainon is deeply scared.
With her act as "villain", she exposed the true intentions of everyone.
- The Crew will not stay for the world, but for their new friend, Phainon who "saved their lives".
- Castorice chose to save the MC instead of following her orders and protect the city.
- Phainon found new friends that will face gods with smiles in their faces, just because he asked.
She not only created the strongest party, but she even treated their mental health.

@@navalhabr she didn't do this to increase the bond between the party members seeing as we barely knew each other, not all of the chrysos heirs were present and the trial would've taken place no matter what happens.
She only changed the the punishment from banishment to straight up death when she learned that Castorice approached Phainon. The trial would've taken place regardless and was about us being potential enemies.
She didn't just act like a villain. She WAS the villain. She already tested our sincerity once with her powers in the bath. There was no need to test us again. She already saw Phainon vouching for us time and time again.
She saw us protecting her people and her city.
However despite all of that, she took us to trial and didn't trust us at all.
She was even withholding information and wasn't willing to inform us of the dangers.
However despite that, we didn't pressure her for information.
She doesn't know the true feelings of everyone involved since the astral express doesn't seem to be part of that everyone you said.
What she did wasn't justifiable no matter the reason. It was straight up betrayal in the face of Dan heng and the trailblazer.
Her original plan was to banish us over a crime we didn't commit intentionally.
She can sense our emotions and soul and see our sincerity but was still not trusting us. Moreover, she lied straight up to our face. She said we shouldn't inform the others of the worlds beyond the sky so as not to give false us but in reality she was worrying about us being enemies and bringing destruction to her city.

A flawed character isnt so bad, agleae is lowkey shooting herself in the knee with all this paranoia, but still i hope she gets some good character development, flawed characters are usually very satisfying to see their stories

The trial was not fair and as Dan Heng said, Amphoraeus is not the only planet to go to. But as surely the only way to help March is to cooperate with them and I don't want to let my wife die...

(You can make an argument here and say that TB and Dan Heng can fall under this logic when they confronted Damionis which is fair, but the difference to me is that they did it because they valued the lives of Amphoreus's citizens as much as their own, and it's hard to find the promise so importamt to keep when the crucial information behind why such a promise must be made was gatekeeped by Aglaea, the one who supposedly works on the system of trust)

Stop right there please. The interrogation improved nothing. It does not change the fact that they're journeying together, which would help both parties to know each other better anyway. All that did was remove herself from that picture. Unless Aglaea really plans to sacrifice herself for Amphoreus in the future, this decision makes no sense.
She has every right to be worried tho. Their planet is on the brink of destruction. For all they know we could very well be the “curse from beyond the sky” that cause their titans to go haywire or invaders that sought to take over their planet. Either way we weren’t in their prophecy and she is afraid of outside variables that altered their fate.

Aglaea's too focused on order that she failed to recognize that she was pushing away people who were helping to save lives. By sentencing Dan and the Trailblazer to Death, over ONE broken promise, she had shown what lies behind her warm and welcoming demeanor. Even though Amphoreus has Titans and not Aeons, she would make a fine emanator for Ena.
One broken promise that could have costed her the lives of her people.

Seeing people's reaction to Aglaea was interesting. I personally chose to stay not because of Amphoreus, but for the whole Trailblaze fuel problem we have. Going to Lushaka or (the other choice that i forgot the name of) would only delay the inevitable of our fuel running empty, so I see it that it's more beneficial that we stay to get our fuel.
I'm basically treating Amphoreus like a gas station pit stop...
I'm kind of torn on it. On the one hand, she wants to protect her city because the last time people tried to leave Amphoreus, a whole city was leveled. I can understand that. On the other hand, she had us make a promise with no context as to why or even a plausible cover for us when asked where we were from. She could've explained that to us and why it was so taboo. Honestly we did everything we could've been expected to reasonably do, it was hardly our fault that some crazy idiot decided to start shouting at the top of every building he could find because he saw a some photos of March.
Same here, I liked that her decisions made discussions in the community. I kinda get what she comes from but I feel like the whole interrogation thing can be avoided if she explained the consequences. Sure DH and MC should been more careful especially dying civilization that relied heavily on fate and gods. However, I felt her decisions was on the roll of a gambit here. Still I can't wait for future patches of this character. If she gets worse, I don't mind it.
I wanted to pull for Aglaea because I wanted a good lightning dps, but after this i think I'm gonna wait for another Jing Yuan rerun.

Really funny that we saved a citizen's life and the person in charge at no point acknowledged that, and it was due to their negligence for never monitoring the social media site which Tribbie acknowledged herself right before the interrogation scene, there was a dude ranting about national secrets nonstop on there left completely unchecked and the government makes 2 random schmucks who don't know anything take responsibility. THEY were unable to locate the problem nor pacify Damiosis before he nearly willingly threw himself to his death so we were FORCED to step in despite never actually doing anything wrong. Him seeing the picture and jumping to a ton of conclusions can't reasonably be blamed on us, especially given how little information we were given regarding the consequences of the promise being broken and the authorities had numerous opportunities to step in and prevent the situation from becoming out of hand and spreading and didn't, instead they were too busy secretly monitoring our behaviour instead of just like... saving their own damn citizens from an actual threat
I get the point is that they were being unfair deliberately due to suspicion/distrust of outsiders but like wow that interrogation was a farce. The questions were open ended, which makes it borderline impossible to answer with the sincerity she wants, and "half truths that omit things" wasn't mentioned in the briefing as something deserving of getting murdered over. Not only that, but like Dan Heng said she never actually mentioned the consequences for breaking the promise so any sane human being would prioritize saving someone's life over a promise that SEEMS light. The interrogation was a cool scene but in context Aglaea just seems woefully irresponsible and honestly bad at her job, she just seems really bad at relaying rules when they're contingent on whether people live or die. If she had fully explained that the consequence of leaking the truth about space leading to mass casualties, as well as our executions, we definitely would have been more careful preventing the information from spreading (never would have shown others the camera in the first place), might not have stepped in to save that jackass from his impending death if we knew both of our lives were at stake rather than just his own
Not to mention if she was that worried about it, they could've given TB and DH some clothes to fit in. This dude only made himself known to us because our strange clothes tipped him off we weren't from around here.
What you cooked there was delicious friend, Aglaea can honestly go fuck herself. She said she did it so our bonds with Phainon becomes stronger? If anything, it made me dislike his entire planet. I'm still going to help him obviously but, in my head at least, I'm not giving Aglaea any time of my day after that shit. I'm just glad that this time Hoyo gave us a cathartic ending to satisfy my bloodlust hahahaha
I don't hate Aglaea for interrogating us. Heck, I find it understandable. I just hate that she made Castorice the one to execute us. Castorice believed in Aglaea and really thought Aglaea was serious in killing us which is why she contact Phainon to stop her.
Seems like it was as much of a test for the two most important heirs as it was for TB and Dan Heng. Castorice was chosen not only because of efficiency, but also to test her character. Which I believe that she failed, as evidenced by Aglaea saying to her smth like "I expect you to speak up about your feelings next time." looks like she has trouble properly expressing herself which is a major weakness. As for Phainon, I'm guessing that he passed since his actions were quick, decisive and determined. He immediately put his thoughts on the table and delivered a reasonable argument.

Realistically, nobody would want to stay in Amphoreous, but Phanion and Castorice’s reaction (especially) Phanion makes me want to cry 😭

I'm so glad and not that I didn't pick this option. Glad cause there was no delays in the story quest, and I was able to finish it before bed, and mad cause I just wanted to leave at that point, but the shakiness in phainon's voice and castorice's sorrowful words almost made me tear up. their voice actors are amazing. This is the exact reason why Aglaea should be the main boss of Amphoreus. She shot herself and her people in the foot so many times due to her own paranoia that she failed to see the benefit in allowing assistance from outsiders not tied to the fate of Amphoreus to help her

Would the Xianzhou be able to locate Amphoreus though? Only Memo keepers can remove the illusion Amphoreus was under and Black Swan likely left like this ending too, though Caelus/Steele’s stelaron nuke would probably wipe out most of them

Nah it was a good change of tone and heightened the tension in Amphoreus. It showed us how serious everything are by going as far as to show the heights Aglaea will go to just to make sure everything goes according to her plan.
It established 2 important things, us despite being 'aliens' doesn't have ulterior motives, and the fact that the chrysos heirs who vouched for us fully trust us on a deep level, deep enough to defy their de-facto ruler. It's also a great way to characterize Aglaea as an iron-fisted demigod ruler who was jaded by all their past failures, to the point where she will take extreme measures to make sure their mission isn't being compromised, albeit through harsh methods.
I don't know why people are taking it personally as if Aglaea went to their room and personally slapped them in the face. I feel like I'm reading through kids' opinions with how much they lack media literacy.

This got me feeling devious for some reason so here's a comprehensive guide on how to inflict maximum pain on Castorice.
Let's start. Judging by her actions in the story, it would seem that Castorice is a slightly timid individual with problems expressing herself. And of course, her touch of death. We'll use her own curse to break her down completely. As evidenced in the trailer, it would seem that TB is immune to her curse and we can use that to our advantage.
First, let her realize that you're truly immune. If she wishes to confirm it several times, do not refuse. THIS IS IMPORTANT. Once you've established yourself as her sole source of physical comfort, make her realize that what is so significant to her is completely pointless to you. Casually be touchy with other people while in her sight. By doing so you are essentially gaslighting her into thinking that she's a fool for wanting something as simple as physical contact which will lead to her being even more distant from others and cut off any possible help.
Next, it's time to turn things up. When she attempts to touch you, exercise your boundaries and refuse to comply. This will make her think that SHE is the weird one for not getting things right.
Last but not the least, every trailblazer has their own cute waifu who goes by the name of March 7th, so use her in your diabolical plan. Intentionally be sweet and friendly with her in front of Castorice, just enough to not confirm anything. Why is this important? Because people are their own biggest enemy! After noticing your actions, the subject will likely begin to get paranoid and her imagination itself will fill in the blanks. This is better than outright confirming.
Finally, leave Amphoreus unceremoniously to make it clear that this place isn't special at all; just one of the planets saved by the Astral Express. Now, the subject is left all alone just like before, except now she won't be able to endure the solidarity after having a glimpse of companionship. It's like giving gatorade to a snake-it'll forever continue looking for the strange and delicious treat, never to find it again.

They probably didn't really put much consideration into that given they were just gonna loop us back to make us keep going. Would've been kinda amazing if they went full bad ending on us and told us the Trailblazer and Dan Heng got everything set up to leave only to get shot out of the sky a second time and didn't survive the second crash, and either the stellaron in us destabilized and took out the world, or without our help the prophecy was never fulfilled and the world ended for them. Guess they aren't ready to go that dark on a fake ending.

Since it's pretty early in the quest, it's possible that things take a different turn, but have noticed how out of 6 coreflames that were retrieved prior to the arrival of the Trailblazers, only 2 remain in Ocheima?
I think it's likely some of the demigods have left Ocheima. Sure, some might be doing some mission outside or just minding their own bussiness. But it's likely not all Crisos Heirs are willing to blindly trust a profecy that no one knows anything about.
Who made the profecy? What will happen after all titans fall? What is the nature of the black tide? None of these questions is answered. I, for one, am reticent of trusting a profecy that commands me to overthrow the gods of the world, putting myself in danger, when I cannot even be sure if I am just working for the particular agenda of some evil schemer.
I'm fine with flawed characters, it's their character development that is usually harder to win me over. I wasn't planning on pulling her but depending on how this story handles Algaea, I may consider a rerun.
I don't mind it as well but we should be flawed as well. We continue to help because we're nice but the concept 'Trailblazer will remember that' should also be present.
It seems we are still nice to Algaea but it is better if we show our uneasiness with her after what she did, because she said she don't care what thoughts we have of her, so okay, i don't care for you either, I'm doing this for castorice

Man im so excited for agalea but damn did i lost my interest with her personality, but its nice to have a story where we dont get trusted easily.
I hope in 3.1 we can show our distrust and hesitation with Agalea and not the others.
Bud we did get trusted fairly easily - by Phai and Casti - by the virtue of us fighting side by side with them against an outside threat. It's just that Algae decided to act like a greek goddess in addition to looking the part.
And she wasn't even going to follow through on her threats, and I don't know if it makes it any better.
I personally feel that she made an unnecessary risk, got next to nothing out of it, lost a lot of goodwill, all with a non-negligible chance of making TB and DH decide to leave (or start a fight (and maybe even win, lol)). I don't even know what was the best case scenario for her there, but it's fair to say that whatever she got was not it.
I was more mad that she gave us a cold response to that "we get two steps?" joke.

Aglaea is a psychopath and literally chose to torture us into loyalty instead of at least trying to maintain your relationships with the few allies you have. There is no logical reason for her actions, and she literally admits to changing her plan to a much more brutal one at the last minute out of pure whim. I despise her for her rudeness, but I despise her even more for the fact that her disrespect for her own allies could have cost her people their lives if we hadn't been so heroic and nice. I don't think there's anything she can do to fix that relationships. Thank goodness for Phaenon, at least I don't feel like my character is risking her life for some jerks that don't cost my time

The fact that we can just leave just says a lot of how bad of a decision Aglaea has made. I kinda understand why she did it but it's just not the most rational choice. If you want to test the stranger who can be potential ally or even savior, you don't just threaten them with execution on the first day you met them...

People’s reception to Aglaea is funny if you know Kuro Games changed the start of WuWa because CN complained everyone was too mean and distrusting of Rover. People argue they should have ignored those complaints because it would have been better than what we have now, everyone glazing Rover.

Nobody with 1 nerve hates Aglea, it just seems weird that after she basically screwed everything up we had to directly choose whether we stay or go. It's kind of like "bro give me reasons to stay, show me at least a panorama of the world and a couple of kids playing so I feel sorry for them" Because there are directly 0 reasons to trust Aglea (Which I like since I like to see more real characters but obviously I'm going to refuse to help)

This is actually so dark. All of the secret bad endings are. Not joining the crew at the space station - everyone dies (presumably) and the trailblazer lives a normal and boring life as herta loses interest pretty quickly. Fake first ending of penacony - that’s just creepy. Here? March dies I guess since they didn’t say she got better after leaving amphoreus. Everyone on the planet probably also die or whatever is supposed to happen later in the story. Express makes its final warp jump and ends up in a unhabitable place? Peak cosmic horror for me.
I know that this scene made a lot of people choose to not pull for Aglaea anymore but honestly while I find her actions odd I also understand them, buuuut at the same time I adore flawed characters, I enjoy seeing them in the story and I enjoy seeing how the writers play around with characters having paranoia who are distrusting of everyone, I enjoy seeing characters be complex and make bad choices because that's what happens irl as well, I was debating whether or not I should pull for The Herta or not, since I do enjoy her gameplay, but this scene, funnily enough, made me completely sure that I'll be pulling for Aglaea
Her action is understandable but it was directed against us as the main character i want to imagine myself in this situation and it was just annoying in every way possible, i didn't choose "i promise" rather i said i will try and when i failed they basically kidnapped us because we deserve death for not being "trustworthy" when we made our actions more clear than their vague words
As I see, we weren't guilty of breaking the promise to Aglaea, we gave some guy a camera and He himself looked at the photos, we didn't tell him a thing, yes we did tell him, when he was about to jump of the roof, but only to save this idiot. This was the only time for me, that i've broken the promise. And then Aglaea lures us into a trap, beforehand talking about how trust between hers and us is very important, then uses our trust to restrain us and possibly kill us. Of what help can you talk after a move like that?
So what happens after?
You go back to home screen and go back to when they are asking you to stay but you don't have the option to leave.
I learned the hard way, dont trust on a mother ruined like Phainon, great husbando and a mother ruiner!

It's probably like the Penacony secret ending, you'll see this little "fake-out ending" and then basically reset back to an earlier point.

To save the trouble basically it's the same thing as penacony. I understand you can't leave as it's the story and it is just a funny joke but why even give us the options?
That being said Aglaea is kinda a bi.... big help for us. No offense I understand why she's the way she is but in reality I definitely wouldn't choose to stay if you don't even trust us a little.
Edit: after playing a bit more I do know understand why she was liek that but to be honest I kinda hate characters that do that crap, just be honest with us. Again I understand it as we're the first outsiders to Amphorous in probably a long time as far as we're aware but still
It's funny how I changed my perspective a lot towards Aglaea. I like her then hated her for this then like her again later because she just intentionally make us hate her 😅. I like Castorice the most cause she really cared about us

Not a secret ending, it's a secret bad ending because where do you need to refuel the express
And march's condition her illness is most probably will only be fixed on amphoreus

To me i feel like the lore of this world has some 40k references but less dark. In 40k, imperium citizens are not allowed to know anything about the chaos if someone does then they will be eliminated right away .

Aglaea truly is a character of all time, like in Penacony I chose to leave first, because I basically went: "🦆 this schmidt I'm out".
In Penacony it was because I really distrusted Adventurine and I really didn't want to cooperate with him over Acheron and here it's because of Aglaea basically being a racist 😂

@ Aglaea is in a position fo power who has a motive: to keep the peopoe of Okhema safe. The other two also have their own motives.
