- How I Fixed My Floppy Fauxhawk Fail into Fabulous. Last Friday night I was getting gussied up for a night out and I wanted to sport a fauxhawk. I learned how to do it from a pro in this video • In The Hair Chair: A M... Unfortunately, I do not possess professional skills. The clock was ticking. I was out of time and had to make this hairstyle work. Failure was not an option. The end result can be seen here • Red Carpet at the Zoom... Since I don't have a time machine, I recreate the look for you here as best I can (Ironically, while shooting this video, I was on my way to a really great fauxhawk) and I think I got pretty darn close. I still haven't learned how to do the perfect fauxhawk, but I hope I help you learn how to run with your mistakes and maybe the end result is better than what you thought you wanted originally! Monique, you have to use this powder called Big Sexy Hair Powder Play and you will be able to get that faux hawk as high as you want. It makes your hair feel like sh*t, but it does the job. I have the same sort of hair and this is how I wear my hair on a daily basis.
