@@leontrotsky8676 He knows it's improv, the whole show is. But with improv, the best takes are usually not the first ones, but the laughter suited this particular scene extremely well and it's nice to see these guys making each other genuinely laugh and seeing it make the final cut
I watched Jeff laughing for real on a chat show and every comment was about how he must be embarrassed by how girly he sounds and that's why he doesn't laugh like that on the show. When Funkhauser says, "She's dumb" that's Jeff's real laugh.
"She gives to charity!" I love the improv and the real laughter from Larry. One of the funniest scenes in the history of the show. Funkhouser killed it!
Jeff has the best real laugh. When Super Dave asked if Richard has set aside a day to look at his own girlfriend’s face I lost it and so did Jeff. It made me laugh even harder.
"Have you made a date to finally look at her face?".... "What does she give, milk?".... One scene, two minutes, two out-loud laughs.... How good is this show? First, ten years of Seinfeld; then 10 years of Curb. Greatest comedic mind in televison history: Larry David.
Funkhauser killing this scene like a genius!
super Dave!
He can pull off dead pan like nobody else.
ikr? "Chaplin was a great pole dancer"
"Dance for underprivileged kids"
"Have you set a day aside when you are finally going to look at her face?"
sattfield : Larry’s great writing 👍😊
rip
this had to have been the first take
jeff's laughter is too real
funkhauser's lines seem to catch him off guard for real
Its improv.

“how is she?” “she’s dumb”.
"She gives to charity!" Love Funkhouser's reaction!
I give to Charity too, but on Charity's night off I give to Tiffany.

Aaaaand...rimshot!
@@therussmeister
That joke is going in my toolbox. I'll be using it for the rest of my life.
therussmeister You will be a good dad with jokes like that
She dances for underprivileged kids
'Oh yeah Chaplin was a great pole dancer' is a low-key gem right there.
That was the funniest line for me but it seemed to cut straight to the next line
Was looking for this comment😂
Really shows how great their improv is. All the laugher is real
Tommy Nico how can you tell the difference between improv laughing and scripted laughing. Are they not good actors?
I think it's obvious that Jeff's laughing here is 99% genuine. He's not that good an actor but he is a good audience
Jeff was laughing talking. 😁. I do that sometimes when my friends are sooo dumb...
I watched Jeff laughing for real on a chat show and every comment was about how he must be embarrassed by how girly he sounds and that's why he doesn't laugh like that on the show.
When Funkhauser says, "She's dumb" that's Jeff's real laugh.
@@thebluefus I've watched enough Larry David and Jeff Garlin interviews to know their real laughs
Richard is straight gold. He always gives credit to a good joke, no matter the situation.
Yeah but he's dead now..
Larry, Jeff and Funkhouser - the dream team.
Don't forget Richie Boy
Like the Jordan, Magic and Bird of Comedy.
George Graham ehhhhhh not so much.
George Graham
Can't forget leon aswell 🙋🏿♂️
RIP FunkMan :(
*What does she give, milk? "
Haha, this scene is great, pure joy
RIP Bob Einstein aka Super Dave aka Funkhauser.
tru dat
Aka funkman
Yeah, I don’t think he ever got enough credit... very funny man and good actor
Now Richard can spend time with super Dave about his girlfriends charity
'Have you set a day aside when you are finally going to look at her face'
"She gives to charity!" I love the improv and the real laughter from Larry. One of the funniest scenes in the history of the show. Funkhouser killed it!
watching these 4 guys together is like watching a legendary jazz quartet jamming together. they way they riff off each other is so great.
These 4 guys are comedy gold . Could watch them over & over. Funk man & Richard are comedy treasures - hysterically hilarious!
i love how every conversation with richard and larry starts with something serious and just derails
Lmao always 🤣🤣🤣
"chaplan was a great pole dancer" haha
Chaplin moron, have some respect.
Guillermo Sanchez don't call Chaplin a moron. Have some respect
@@guillermosanchez8843 What have you done in life that even approaches Chaplin's accomplishments?? Respect Chaplin!
God I love this clip.......just so spontaneous and natural the way they filmed it......arguably the greatest comedy of modern day
The foursome of Larry, Jeff, Lewis and the Funkman is priceless!
This has gotta be one the most natural scenes in television show history.
"What does she dance for? Dance for underprivileged kids." Bob Einstein the legend.
By far one of Curb's best scenes! The Funk man was brilliant in this one!
Jeff's laugh when he says "she's dumb" 🤣😁👍
hey mandy
Hey back!
RIP Super Dave. He owned every scene he was in.
Couldn't exactly hang up and say I want to go to a salad bar. Lol
To a suicidal ex!
I love that the laughter makes it in, coz that’s how it is when 4 friends get together. Pure brilliance.
Jeff's laughter is contagious throughout this scene
RIP Richard Lewis. Don't know how he didn't lose his shit here. What a great comic
Jeff has the best real laugh. When Super Dave asked if Richard has set aside a day to look at his own girlfriend’s face I lost it and so did Jeff. It made me laugh even harder.
u got blue eyes?
@@flisko123
I have blue and green eyes. Some days they’re more blue, some days they’re more green 🤷♀️
thats quite rare two different eye colors @@BigRedShadevil
RIP Funkhauser, the world has lost a great comic. You will be sorely missed
Super Dave! 😁🎬📺📹
“ Have you set a day a side when you’re finally going to look at her face..?🤣thank you Funk ...RIP❤️
"Chaplin was a great pole dancer!".....I laughed for hours!
“She gives to charity “they all burst out laughing classic
"Chaplin was a great pole dancer!"....Jesus! That is funny!
Larry: We don't need a hands in
Hilarious!
Damn man. Thabks for the laughs funkman and richard❤
This is one of my favorite improv scenes in the show. They don't even try to keep it together
You know Bob Einstein was really funny because he could make comedians laugh. RIP Marty.
Love how Jeff said yes instantly
So much brilliance in these four guys!
"Dance for underprivileged kids" brilliant
“You’re always in love” 😂
This skit never fails to make me laugh. The riffing between these 4 amazing comedians is just the best.
Jeffs laugh is so contagious 😂😂😂
Did they ad-lib this scene? It seems so natural.
The whole show is ad-libbed
Maybe my favourite ever Curb scene. Just so funny on every level
Two classic lines form Funkhauser, LMAO !
Funkhauser brings the heat in this scene.
"Have you set a day aside when you are finally going to look at her face" is probably the best line from the entire show.
Love Richard Lewis!! Of course the rest if the cast is awesome too.. 👍🏻😁
1:18 I think that laughter is genuine, which makes me think the line was improvised by Bob 😂
They don't make 'em like Funk or Lewis any more - RIP fellas
One of the best scenes in the show in my books
Tons of zings in this one. Never gets old.
Every Woman Richard Lewis dates on curb is the one
This scene is incredible. Totally real, totally hilarious!
"What does she give, milk?" that kills me every time.
1:15 their reaction to that was definitely genuine. Surprised they didn’t have to take a second and collect
I’m convinced these scenes are totally unscripted.
Hmmm.. interesting.. you may be on to something
They write 7 page outlines per episode and then riff on set so yes a lot is unscripted
Mostly improv. You can't write chemistry. Genius show. Don't know how they managed to get any episode done on time lol
Curtis Armstrong is in the background. Hes a VO actor, American Dad. Hes also known for Revenge of the Nerds(1984).
Marty bringing the Funk as always. HILARI😂US!!!
"Have you set a day aside when you're gonna finally look at her face?..." LMAO
This was such a natural conversation. Amazing.
The look on Jeff's face when Lewis is saying 'her brians, her sense of worth' like ...... 'what a wierd way to think about a woman'!
I’m addicted to these “Curb” clips, I never watched the original series. Luv Mr. Lewis & Super Dave!
"Have you made a date to finally look at her face?".... "What does she give, milk?".... One scene, two minutes, two out-loud laughs.... How good is this show? First, ten years of Seinfeld; then 10 years of Curb. Greatest comedic mind in televison history: Larry David.
Seeing this four men togheter is amazing
I love how much of this scene they left in when the guys broke or had to repeat themselves etc. utterly perfect
This is so great cuz this is how friends actually talk to eachother. No one liners or catch phrases or unnaturally witty comebacks.
Everybody said what I was gonna say This was action packed for 2 and a 1/2 minutes
"Ur not my suicide call" 😂
'A lot of people call me when they are suicidal"
this show used to make me cry. its criminal to humanitry they stopped this show.....
funkhouser richard lewis and the rest
Funkman had Jeff laughing his ass off throughout the scene 😂
What does she give to charity? Milk? LMAOOOOOOOOOOO
I need way more Bob Einstein in my life
Chaplin was a great pole dancer cracks me up every time 😂😂😂
Jeff’s giggle should be trademarked.
2 comedic legends gone too soon
I don’t know how they don’t break every time Richard speaks lol
"That's funny too!" always makes me laugh
The improv in this scene is S tier.
I love how Richard always has “reasons” why he dates these hot ass women, and they always call him out on his bullshit 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Funk man was a Godsend.....
"Have you set a date aside when you are going to look at her face?" might be my favourite line in the show.
I love how they left Marty's "hands in" hanging.
"we don't need a hands in". Gonna use that next time
Funk-Man was absolutely on fire this clip.
After Funkhauser's first zinger he's thinking' 'this scene is in the bag' and just listens. Then the 'charity' line is just too much to keep out of!
This is Curb at its best.
This show makes me so happy....thankyou Larry David
.eeehhh...we don't need a hands in 🤣😂😂
I don't know how any of the people on the show can keep a straight face long enough to do scene. I'd be rolling on my ass laughing the whole time
Yes, Richard is always in love!
Funkhauser! Miss him man! And Richard is gold.
She gives to charity 😂😂
One of my favorite scenes
Funkhauser was a comedy GOD. Hope you're enjoying China, brother :-)
"She's dumb." LMFAO!
Larry's face at the last second, he nearly cracked up 😂
lmfao at 0:12, jeff is laughing and the next cut hes face is like a baloon
The black guy in the background is blissfully unaware he’s about to be drawn into Larry’s chaotic world.
every time I watch this clip I forget both the black guy and the guy who wants his computer watched are in it
