Thanks again. Just changed to Holly carb and remembered you did this mod. Was well worth it to buy your unit, eliminating the hassle of parting it together.
Andy, I’ve only just seen this video now, not sure how I missed but love the idea! I have placed an order and can’t wait to receive it here in London 🇬🇧
I had the exact throttle linkage but it's made by Total Control Products. I also had billet gas, brake and clutch pedal covers by Total Control. I upgraded again to a Lokar throttle cable system, Lokar gas pedal and Lokar brake and clutch pedal covers. My old Total Control parts are sitting in a box getting Dusty lol
This is perfect for me because I'm too lazy to source the parts myself. Lol! I just received mine, but I'm using it on a '64 Falcon, so as I expected, modification was necessary. Had to shorten it up by 3 3/8" and it works perfectly!
just ordered one, looking forward to putting it on. I commented on another video but ill say it here too, this video isnt available on the product page.
hey, I love your videos, and I just got my car a couple of months ago. I need to upgrade my throttle linkage like what you have above. But I'm running dual carbs and I need a linkage that needs to go to right around 8 inches.
@8.42 My linkage is connected to the (little) hole above the one you used.(Holley 4160) There is also a bigger hole above. How to know which hole to use for the linkage?
got my new throttle linkage today very fast delivery and will do the job but its not the one you advertise the one I got is a round tub that there is no way to hold to tighten the jam nuts the one I seen on your video was a much nicer looking octagon shaped throttle linkage that you can put a wrench on to tighten the jam nuts
The one in the video is that octagonal shape, but I can't get that piece anymore. I looked into having them made and it was so expensive that it the price to sell them would not be realistic. That's why they are called 'Gen 2' on my website, they're the second generation or second design version. Also, all the pictures of the Throttle Linkage on my site are of the round bar style. If I can get that hex shape piece in the future, I would like to sell both and let the buyer decide which one they want, but until then all I have is the round style. :)
I looked into having them coated, but when it was all said and done, I'd have to charge close to what other manufactures are charging for something similar, and it kept them out of that lower price point that I want these to be in. TBH, a guy could get a rattle can, give it a few squirts, and they'd be ready to rock. :)
Hey Andy, I bought this throttle kit off your site, but the fastener that comes with the kit does not fit in the hole of my edelbrock 1901 carb on the throttle linkage, it’s too tight 😢. Any ideas? So weird.
@@AndyKruseChannel I was thinking to do that! Also, does the throttle linkage have to be level? I’ve added a 1” spacer under my new carb, and now it’s sitting a bit higher than my old one was. So the linkage is slanted up towards the throttle on the carb. Should I reduce my spacer to half inch? Any tips? Thanks again!
@@daveyhen3518 Linkage does not need to be level, that's the beauty of the Heim Joints at each end of the linkage, it allows parts and piece to pivot as needed but keep the linked connection between the pedal and the Carb. Keep your spacer as is if it's doing what you need to do. I use a 1 inch spacer. :)
New time subscriber as soon as i seen this video i ordered it right away and looks like it will work great for my 67 302 👌, but what return spring are you using as far as the braket and springs, if you have a link or part# it would be much appreciated, love your videos keep it up 👍
I bought those return springs from an auto parts store (like Napa). It cam with two springs and a bracket to one end to while the other end is clipped to the throttle bracket on the Carb. :)
Good question. I do not know. However, if someone was able to use their existing throttle linkage on the Sniper EFI on their Mustang, I'd think this should work too. :)
@@erictatface1065 Oh, now I see. As long as the distance from your throttle lever coming out of the firewall and the attachment point on the throttle plate of your carb are within the adjustment length of the linkage, then it would work. You might need an extra bolt or spacer depending on the exact locations over everything, but based on a few pics I've seen, it looks like it would work. While I made these to fit the Classic Mustangs, I know there are lots of cars/trucks out there with very similar throttle linkage setups that this will work. The hard part is saying it will always work because there are lots of people who have modified their cars/trucks so much that stuff like this may not fit. :)
3 day delivery, 20 min install. Couldn’t be happier with your videos and products Andy! Thank you!
Awesome, glad you liked it! :)

Awesome! I’m glad it worked out!
Another great quality product from Andy. Nice! You are really building up the store!
Haha, thanks!!
Yeah, I've got a bunch of ideas, but getting everything made is proving challenging. :)
Ordered this recently - it arrived very quickly. Great idea and product.
Great to hear! 😁
Very nice, inexpensive upgrade. Exactly what I needed to get me motivated to start working on some bigger upgrades. Just ordered one!
Saw that, it'll go out today! :)
Just ordered mine maybe 2 days ago and is arriving hopefully tmrw! Thank you for the fast shipping, ill be ordering another!
Awesome, I hope you like it! :)
Nice looking upgrade 👍
Thanks 👍
Well done. I like eliminating the long attachment in the back.
Thanks!
Just got mine in the mail! Thank you so much!
Nice!
Dude; this is just what I’ve been looking for! The Scott Drake throttle linkage was ridiculously priced. I hope this hits the spot!
Haha, I think it's just what the Dr. ordered! :)
@@AndyKruseChannel and I’ve just ordered one too! It’s coming across the pond to the UK.
Yep, already shipped it! :)
Looks good Andy!
Thanks 👍
Fantastic video! Time to shop!!
Please do!
Nice looking part; adding to the purchase list.
Perfect, I'll need to find a big box for all these parts you're going to order. :)
Andy, I’ve only just seen this video now, not sure how I missed but love the idea! I have placed an order and can’t wait to receive it here in London 🇬🇧

I think we might be using "exact" a little loosely, but it's probably similar.
TCP makes great stuff, and so does Lokar. :)

Good luck with your new project! :)
Very cool piece. Develop a duck bill rear trunk spoiler to fit 67 Mustang coupe, and I'd buy that.
Thanks!
I've got a few ideas for stuff like that spoiler, we'll see if we can turn it into something. :)
Damn Andy, you got me again! Order placed! I just don't trust the stock linkage to not slip off the end.
This will be a great match for you Monte Carlo bar, adding adjustability to your ride that you can dial in to perfection! :)
@8.42 My linkage is connected to the (little) hole above the one you used.(Holley 4160) There is also a bigger hole above. How to know which hole to use for the linkage?
I don't think the bolt will fit in the small hole you described, and definitely not the larger hole above that. :)
Nice product.
I love it!

Have you considered making this part black?

Nope, no need for loctite. :)

Got one, unfortunately now that I finally have the engine in my car it's an inch too short for my application :(
Cool, time to move the engine back an inch. It'll make the the throttle linkage work and give you better weight distribution. ;)
@@AndyKruseChannel Now that's definitely a plan.

Do you know if this clears a sniper efi set up ?
Good question. I do not know. However, if someone was able to use their existing throttle linkage on the Sniper EFI on their Mustang, I'd think this should work too. :)
I plan on buying one for my Sniper as well. Seems like it should work.
I use something like that to strap my engine down so I don't keep breaking motor mounts. :-)
Is it right next to your electric power steering setup? That'd be the place to install it! :)
