I like the one with the crossbar lock. The other one with the weak detent would definitely be a return if I couldn't strengthen the detent by bending the lockbar in a little. Have a good week Beez!

yes, they play in the 70 USD league. for the size comparison i would have expected the Firebird FH41 because it has a similar blade shape and model number.

I own the FT2103 in green G10.. I love that knife .. But if you don't watch your grip when closing it (end of knife pressed into palm while using fingers to pull down on axis lock) the tip of the blade will give you a little bite..

I’ve rarely cut myself just fidgeting with knives. The cuts for me happen when sharpening or actually using it. Sometimes I wonder if the bandaids are for show. I get it, I use bandaids when I’m cut but shortly after I take them off and use the skin glue stuff.
I bought my daughter a Pink Free Tiger Flipper and it was surprisingly amazing. Great detent and action and it was like $16. We have advanced from “would ya look at it!” To “would ya observe it!” Classy BeezBlades now.
I purchased both the green and carbon fiber version of the FT2103. The green one was not very good but the carbon fiber was absolutely perfect! Damn good for a $27 dollar knife! Its going into the rotation for my EDC.
Nice budget blades. I truly favor the Freetiger FT2103 in the black CF scales. I like the blade finish on the Green G10 model. Perhaps buy one of each and swap blades. Hmm 🤔

Just ordered a FT141 in jade just cause I’m finally collecting knives and have 10 and I’m trying to get a variety of colors/type and then chilling on the knife habit😅 for a few months.

I love the FT knives. Centering is good comes sharp and price is great. I honestly can't see spending hundreds on knives myself. Especially when you can get knives like these for less than $30 and I sure don't agree that they're gas station knives. Big difference. IMO
I just got a Kershaw leek/Cryo and some other Kershaw and a pyrite. I love the pyrite I want to get something similar figet wise with perhaps a different locking system. I've been looking at ganzo

When I first saw the 41 I started to fall in love, Especially for the price. That weak detent and over length studs (part of the surprise opening problem) kind of killed it. I am considering the 2103 in satin though

Great review. I received the black carbon fiber FT2103-CF yesterday. It is a great work knife with nice action. Very pleased with the knife overall.

The carbon fiber looks to be the best value. Free Tiger, Sitivien, Twosun and Remette are filling a void that the other brands have walked away from.
