Malaysia's record cannot be compared with China's.Tan boon heong did in in a relax situation without the hindrance of the net, while Fu haifeng did in in a match where stress and pressure occurs.
@@marcosundah4698 if the 332km/h smash of Fu Haifeng in 2005 was measured by new technology, it would reach more than 500km/h. And never foget that in 2005, the racket is not as modern as ones nowadays. If Fu did that smash by Lining 900c or Astrox 88d,... Honestly, i can not imagine its power!
Honorable mention that Cai Yuns smashes here look about as powerful as the "hard hitters" now a days. Even if the numbers say otherwise, I'm basing it on the visuals. Fu Haifengs smashes were out of this world.
@@satriannasri7157 nope, the play style is completely different… minions don’t play a powerful game, they are more likely tactical and short rally player with very strong front court player…
wow.. besides he has a hard smash, with his partner Cai Yun, they also have a good defense. i love when they against korean doubles Lee Yong Dae - Jung Jae Sung. that will be great match as well
I have a weak smash. Anyone can return my smash with a high lift. This forces me to keep smashing and I get tired very fast. People can even return my "netkills" or some easy midcourt smashes. Do I need to go to the gym or improve my technique. I think sometimes I accidentally slice the shuttle. Also smash is not steep enough. How do I get the explosive sound of a smash? Sweet Spot? Thanks Natty
You must improve your technique first then just improve your strength because without good technique, the strength is useless. Remember technique first just come with strength.
If you have a good technique, you don't really need to smash too hardly with your arms. A powerful smash also comes from your stance, from feet, to your knee, waist, wrist, adjusting to your sweet-spot etc...Other than increasing the strength of your arms, you could also improve on the accuracy and trickery of your smashes to kill off your opponents.
guru, u r fu haifeng fan? I know fu has been a heavy hitter in the past 10 years, don't know who else can do the same as him, do u have any hd 2006, 2007 fu's video? thx. jim
Damn what a beast, i missed the old combination of Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng so much!! The duo is absolutely unstoppable together, I still cant forget epic the battle for the Olympic Gold Medal with another fantastic duo of Lee Yong Dae-Jung Jae Sung, it sill makes me orgasm up till now
You mean World Championships 2009 in Hyderabad? They never played Olympic final. It was Fu / Cai vs Setiawan and Kido in 2008, and vs BoMo in 2012. Fu played with Zhang Nan in 2012 vs Tan / Goh.
anjoooo Well honestly he's right, just look at the korean pair jung jae sung and yong dae when they're playing against cai/fu, at least if fu smash succeeded it needs more than 1 2 3 or even 4 smash, unlike the denmark pair.
I think I saw some match cai and fu against denmark carsten mogertsen and his partner(forgot his name), I think fu exhausted, they lost the match because fu can't delivered the usual powerful smash..or is it he getting old..??
Age never lies, same goes as Lin Dan. This last 3 years 2017 onwards, Lin Dan completely changed his playing style to defense and rarely attacks or executes a jump smash. And 2020, he retired
@@diegosavage93 yes the old measurement use bwf radar to detect speed...now they calculate distance shuttle travel/ time..btw kph and km/h is the same unit..
Dude, Fu haifeng holds the record for the fastest smash (325 Kmph i think) in International Competition, by which I mean in a real-time game situation and thats the Truth. Whereas the Malaysian (Tan Boon Heong) did in a YONEX smash testing lab ( 400 + Kmph ).
Kumar Guru I think the speed of a smash in a badminton game was calculated as the average tempo of the shuttle flying across the court (from one racquet to the ground of the other side) and among those, Fu's one was the fastest (332 kmph) whereas the speed of Tan's smash (495kmph) was calculated as the tempo of the shuttle right after leaving Tan's racquet. If Fu's smash was calculted like that way, the speed would definitely be over 500kmph or even nearly 600kmph. Furthermore, Tan's strongest smash ever recorded in a game could only reach over 280kmph as i remembered, but Fu did it over 290kmph very often. No doubt that there would be no second man like Fu (after he retires) can smash at over 300kmph.
sinh nhat No, it is not calculated as the average "tempo of the shuttle flying across the court", do you know what extraordinary machinery and math would be neccessary to calculate that? Nobody knows where the shuttle will go before they hit. They calculate the average speed for a very short distance right after the shuttle went off the racket.
what i personally think is that fu hai feng are one of the best jump smashes in badmintonm. his techniques are always on point and he never misses
Agreed
Each smash he dictates and hits are like the sound of a whip. Simply amazing.

After Fu Hai Feng retired, China has not been able to produce another great double's player like him...He was fun to watch with his powerful smashes!
He really has monster smash....

Mario Gautama Fu Haifeng and Halim Haryanto Ho have absolutely terrifying smashes. Makes Goh V Shem's smashes seem like just above average.

One word.. INCREDIBLE!!!!!
what a rally! what a smash! incredible! look at that!
