    I have been to Lake Isabela many times about 40 years ago, they had red warning lights around the lake to warn boaters of strong winds coming. Thanks for the tour and good memories.

    Your easiest way back down from Isabella should’ve been to just take the hwy 178 down to Bakersfield. It’s nice to see Isabella filled up again. Good update and happy exploring. Thanks

      I figured as much, since there were a handful of sailboats in the marinas and on trailers in the town

    You went in the most difficult way of four roads into the lake, not including over Grant's pass.

    Good vid! Whats the length of the boat, and what motor do you have on there? I've got a 16ft saturn with a yamaha 25hp, want to take it out on Isabella

      Thanks! Trying to shed some light on what the lakes have to offer! And it is a 13-foot with a 25 HP Suzuki. There is a video on top speed on my channel if you want to see more about the boat 🤙🏻

    I'm a local in Isabella. As other people have already said, my God I cannot believe how bad Google maps sent you all the wrong ways. My day job I'm a trucker, and I do use GPS to verify stuff, head on over to a truck stop and get a Rand McNally map book. The spiral type is my suggestion. I take a jet ski on that lake and early in the morning is the best because most of the time the wind isn't blowing and it's nice and glass like you had it. You also pretty much stopped at the right spot for your boat. While the lake is higher than when you were there, maybe not you but I'm able to go farther into those trees since im a jet ski

    Sawmill is a off-road trail. You would’ve never came close to making it.

    That lake is rarely like that unless it's early morning, an I have no clue why you would drive 100 miles out of your way to get here bro. Should have taken Walkers pass.

    • @SmallCraftCruising
      @SmallCraftCruising  Год назад +1

      I have no idea what walkers pass is. Not from the area and never been there before.

    • @bluntman99999
      @bluntman99999 Год назад

      @Small Craft Cruising it's right off the 14 outside of Ridgecrest. Safest way to get here from there. An Sawmill is not a road you would take, unless your going off-roading.
