Awesome video man. I like other youtubers as well, but you definitely bring it in a way that 90% of the snowboarders can relate without back flips or crazy jumps that is out of the ability of most people. Thanks again.
@@ChrisEyres I have been long boarding safely, and Monday I will get my electric longboard. I am in NJ, but going to Savannah, GA tomorrow for two months. Hopefully the resorts will open in the north east to be able to snowboard again. I am 50 years and I am really bad at it, but still love it.
Came for snowboarding...left with life advice: "do the cleaning and then eat the cake. Then the hard work is done". Both the advice and snow are sooooo deeeeeeep
Great video, and love (but jealous) watching you guys in JP. Was in Hakuba riding 4 years ago, and planning on a 2021 trip to Niseko and Rusutsu. Pick up some Royce Chocolate, it will blow your mind!
Hey Chris, we will be in Rusutsu in jan next year. Where is the best to take an appartment/hotel on a budget? We will be moving with public transport. Many thanks for any tips!
Hi, can you tell me somes good hotels near the ski station with a cheap price? For 3 persons. Not so small, around 20m2 it's ok. Also if I can with family and small childrens, they can play in the station, I mean there is some good activities for childrens 6 years? Thanks for your answer
Chris, if your knee is bothering you, trying wearing G-Form knee pads. They will provide stability for your knees and keep them really warm, which will promote blood flow and healing. Snowboarding with them actually made my bad knees better.
I will check them out. Before my injury I used indoor volleyball pads which I loved. I usually ride with my expensive knee brace which is great for stability but doesn't help too much with warmth unfortunately
@@ChrisEyres I hope they work as well for you as they have for me. My knees got really bad before the start of the season and I wasn't sure if I would be able to snowboard at all. I could barely walk at times. But my knees feel just fine snowboarding with my trusty G-Form knee pads. And I noticed that my knees would feel really good for up to a couple of days after snowboarding with them. With just about 30 days of riding this season so far, my knees seem to be almost 100% again. Snowboard therapy?
Thanks! There is a mix of gopro 7 & 8s. Most was filmed in my old 7, but the bits with Kevin, or where we were riding together was on his 8. Thanks for the comment 🙏🏂
hi @@ChrisEyres I would like to buy a powder table and I would be undecided between Capita SLUSH SLASHER 151cm and K2 cool bean 150cm. which one would you recommend between the two
no mean to disrespect but you clearly haven't seen many resorts to call a resort the best ski resort in Japan, the central and north part of Hokkaido has amazing resorts without crowds. Also The Japanse alps are pretty insane too. But like i said, no mean to disrespect, Japan rules!
Wow the bluebird day looks amazing!
Ya got one blue bird day so nice
Yeah we got one blue bird and one stormy powder day, both fantastic for different reasons
Nice video and perspective on Rusutsu Chris. When I make it there, Rusutsu is on the top of my list of places to hit. Nice content 👍
Thanks Rob, Rusutsu and Hanazono are my two favs so far
Yesss on the list for sure

Thanks Cookie Cracker. I know I can improve my riding skills but I do hope to "keep things real." Are you biking in the summer?

Rusutsu has not as much chairlift as Niseko, but is well known for tree riding. BTW, the blue sky is so so beautiful
Thx Chris
Love this one man, keep them coming!!!
Such an entertaining vid
The start of an album.....?
Man those views at the top of the mountain look all time!

Sorry I cannot, we didn't stay there. I just rode at the resort. It has a lot of stuff to keep the kids occupied

Hey chris
Did your epic pass actually work at the lifts. Or did you need to get a different pass from the counter to use as the epic pass for the day?
You have to go to the ticket office and they give you a 5 day replacement pass
love music in this video Great taste. I was in japan around the same time you were and also hit rusutsu and niseko. I hope I see you next time!
hope so too! thanks for the comment, i had a neighbor tell me about nozawa onsen, sounds beautiful
What board are you on?
Hey Chirs! You posted the wrong link to your Jones Snowboard. Which model/size is that?
Thanks I'll check it, I use a Jones Storm Chaser 157

Terrain is definitely on the mellow side, but that’s general the case on Hokkaido
