Such a good video Barry, but I just had to ask something. Doesn't sushi rice normally need a rice vinegar-salt/sugar mix mixed in before cooling down to get that classic sushi taste? That's usually what makes the rice sticky and hold together so nicely when rolling the sushi on the mat.

I couldn’t think of anything I want more than a double bucket with a large hole so very useful! Though I think the best thing would be to keep until next Christmas and give to my wife as a present. What more could she want!

I know it must be pretty hard to try for a sushi roll but I would like to see a re-attempt or V 2.0 in the future with half the rice and triple the filling. You could even just do a california style one with seafood fishsticks instead of raw fish or flaked tuna.

It makes me mental that you use canned tuna for sushi. That is not sushi, that is canned tuna wrapped in rice and nori. I know tuna is expensive but there are cheaper fish or hell you could've done a California roll which uses imitation crab. I know it is a really dumb thing ttobe annoyed by but I seriously can't be the only one who this drives crazy.

There's way too much rice in that sushi, the ratio of rice to other ingredients should be more like 50/50. Also, it looks really hard to eat, but it's a fun novelty I guess. Should have used raw tuna though.

I actually watched this during my lunch break yesterday and literally was eating sushi but a sushi burrito. I attempted to make my own sushi once with a kit but it turned out to be monster sushi rolls that after that I left sushi making up to the pros! Some foods are better that way! But this! This beats them all!!! That was fun to watch!!

Barry you forgot to season your rice! When I was a sushi chef our sushi vinegar consisted of a generic sushi vinegar, sugar, lemons, and kombu.
