Mann Jogi- Last scene was CINEMA!! What a strong conclusion! I'm in awe of how sensitively the issue of mob lynching was presented...had goosebumps watching this! Take a bow Kashif nisar ,zafar mairaj, Bilal , Gauhar , Sabina and Aasma ji. Through out the 9 episodes I enjoyed a lot . Lots of love from India.

In Duniyapur's last scene, the fall was a very dangerous fall.
Even if there were paddings underneath the clothes, and the tiles had some kind of cushioning effect, Khushhal fell quite badly and his head looked completely unprotected.
I sincerely hope Khushhal was provided the right kind of protective gear while performing that scene because it is absolutely not ok to jeopardise an actor or any other crew member's life for the sake of authenticity (we have seen what kind of action scenes this director and actor duo have achieved in their previous collaboration).
There are more than enough examples where these kinds of shoots have gone horribly wrong for the performer and/or the crew member, and if they are still live, how they and their loved ones are still paying a steep price just because the production house didn't invest in the right kind of safety measures.
Ali Raza mentioned in one of his interviews that Khushhal got burnt when the grenade went off accidentally and the treatment that was given was application of toothpaste on the burns!
If this is true and isn't exaggerated, this isnt funny at all.
When the team is shooting with guns and bombs, the backend medical support cant be a toothpaste!
There needs to be a medical team on standby.
And regarding similarities, I find more similarities with the core points of Godfather (the reluctant younger brother being forced to take reigns due to the older brother being too hotheaded and hence reckless, and despite his reluctance, the younger brother turning out to be a more capable, ruthless and effective leader...there is a similarly with Prakash Jha's Rajneeti in that sense) than with Ram Leela or Mirzapur which are anyway derivatives of any warring clans' stories, and there are a dime a dozen of those.
However, only one episode has been released so far; let the plot unroll substantially and then decide.
And even if then the story indeed resembles Mirzapur or Ram Leela, it should be ok, as that core plot point has been the main crux of so many movies and shows and novels for so long.
J P Dutta's Kshatriya and Yash Raj's Parampara had this plotline.
    One worked, the other didn't.

There's another angle to man jogi that I would like to point out, and I enjoyed it the most that shabbir, being all loud and aggressive throughout, ended up being the coward one. Asking his mother to clean up his mess and could not even face the situation. Bas yahan per mardangi khatam, while Ibrahim being completely opposite from shabbir did the complete opposite as well. He stood up for his wife and was ready to face literally anything and everything. How he protected and defended her. Surely, they portrayed very well that a real man is not the one who's aggressive but is caring, can be shy, soft natured, soft spoken, stands up for the right cause, and for sure doesn't run away.👏👏👏

Amna anh Hassan how come you have forgotten to mention the subtle message of the writer in MAN JOGI where molvi Sahab mentioned he started to earn to run his kitchen and he stopped taking his meals from people. If you are depending on people for your basic necessities then you are obliged to obey them .

Mann Jogi concluded as I wanted it to with molvi sahab confessing, and clarifying that Shabeer had put his ego above shariya. Secondly, people were made to rethink about their careless mob lynching mentality on the slightest provocation. Also showing police in a positive role was encouraging. Apart from correcting wrong religious beliefs, they showed woman empowerment, interfaith friendship, broke stereotypes in professions. It was a solid story told and shown in a beautiful manner. 👍 Congratulations to the entire team for making a high quality drama with good content.

Jafaa: Andaleeb is one annoying character. She thinks her life is all fairytale and the purpose of her life is to be loved. Not for once she has tried to understand Numair's personality and his odd brotherly behavior at times. Numair knows everything about Andaleeb but Andaleeb knows nothing about Numair. She just thinks Numair is her saviour and his only job is to love her and protect her!!

Exactly everyone is talking that why is Numair doing this or that . But no one is talking about deebu . She loves someone and wants that other person also love her . Then she forgets him and wants other person to forget her also. What a rubbish thing it is . And in her marriage she doesn't put any effort rather than managing her house or cooking for her husband . She never tried to understand Dr. Numair's mental conditions. She tells everything him without regarding what would be his reaction. And when it comes Numair to share his problem to deebu , he didn't notice any approach from his wife . So it is very difficult for any man to discuss this issue with someone who doesn't have any approach

Mann Jogi : Absolutely loved watching this drama .The finale episode was brilliant, climax scene gave goosebumps. They cleared everything about iddat period with dates leaving no doubts . Everything about the show is top notch .. writing, direction, execution, pace, acting, every actor gave their best . They covered many sensitive issues very sensibly with out getting preachy in just 9 episodes .
Bilal Abbas khan yet again proved his caliber and versatility. Ibrahim character growth was shown so brilliantly from meak to confident person yet not losing his innocence. He had very little to say , his eyes did the talking, he conveyed every emotion with his expressions and body language. Bilal is in his own league, no one like him. He gave us four different characters this year.. Shahmeer Sikander, Fazal Baksh, Fakhar Wazir and now Ibrahim, each character different from each other. He deserves every award for both Ishq Murshid and Mann Jogi .
The love story between Ibrahim and Aaliya was so beautiful , every scene of them made sense and took forward their relationship naturally and blended so smoothly into the story. We got connected to them and felt every emotion they were going through and rooted for their happiness and togetherness. Loved the chemistry between Ibrahim and Aaliya .

mann jogi: as for shabbir’s end, he is going to be abandoned by zubair because zubair does not want to ruin his reputation because of a scandal that has nothing to do with him. zubair’s whole purpose was to remove shabbir from the picture. when shabbir joined his party, zubair already achieved that. zubair will surely lie to the people and say that he was lied to by the mother and son.
and now because shabbir and his mom have created such a disgusting narrative (and lied in the face of religion and its followers) the mob is going to attack shabbir and his mom now. which is why the mother and son urgently block their doors with the furniture in the room. you can see the look of dread on their faces.
shabbir is most possibly dragged out and lynched by the crowd, where he may die or survive and face more humiliation and eventually end his life. they showed the 🔫 so many times. he could probably have used it on himself.

And yes there's something more for reveal in Hassan's character, it's not just about his disturbed childhood but origin to his aggressive nature is something else. Dadi is also a bit suspicious .. ghar mein mojud ek room ka starting mein zikr tha jiska lock bnd na hone pe dadi maid ko dant'ti hain.. ye sab bht suspicious sa hai and I wish k haqeeqat samne ajaye ab.

Jafa : In my opinion i didn't find Dr numar as someone who is forcing his wife to continue her studies. For me it seems like he thought she left the studies just because of an immediate decision of her marriage by her parents and secondly she is reluctant to face that guy who betrayed her in love. So he wants her to face him as well as all her fears not to just ignore her studies due to these stupid and irrational reasons. Secondly, he probably wants her to be busy in her studies so she doesn't think of having a child as he said that earlier in the episodes that ' I don't want children '.
Regarding the doctor's scene which was muted i thought he went for consulting a psychologist as he heard zara talking to someone about Hassan's condition so he is concerned about her.
But yes there is another picture of it as well because when debu came and told him what her ex boyfriend said about numair he felt a little uncomfortable and later he was thinking about that
'tumhara husband to namard ha' . So yes it's a bit confusing the makers should have given some kind of hint regarding Dr numar issue at this point.
As far as Hassan and zara are concerned, Hassan is cheating on her by not visiting the Doctor and she on the other hand is protecting herself but the irritating part was that she was constantly asking him about the appointment which was a bit too frustrating to watch even as a viewer.

Missed u amna.welcome back.mann jogi was a treat & congrats 2 the team 4 a great drama.it started &endedwith a bang rather abruptly & deserved one more closing scene.jafa has two men hiding their flaws from their wives & not willing to openly address them.men are human & can be vulnerable but soceity is unforgiving of weaknesses. Numair is facing sone medical problem & it seems like infertility which is more common than we realise.if this is the case it would make sense.hassan is lying downright & thinks a baby is a trap 4 a woman & would ensure zaaras presence in his life who is handling him rather badly constantly nagging & afraid in front of him.should she too walk on eggshells like dadi,no but she is rather good at triggering him not understanding him at all.numair pushes deebu to face her demons but is hiding himself.deebu is all over the place & needs guidance as she changes her mind on a whim.I think he thinks studying is great 4 her & she needs to get over moiz,as in his mind perhaps he wants to test her loyalty as he is insecure but shows it not.bismil is thrash & makes no sense based on sensationalism rather than intelligence.nothing adds up.TT is a cheap cheater who has outgrown his wife & like most such men wants his cake & his cherry too.reham is a dissapointment, written as a vixen that deserves this & TT as a hero rescuing his immoral damsel who is suddenly living her dream but will soon show more claws.the wives will fight as he will rise as the bechara & either way will win.will reham have enough dignity & independence to kick this cheater & lead a better life without him.is this drama that progressive.

After the last episode I think it's confirmed that Numair might be impotent or have some issues with his manhood. When Andaleep expressed her feelings about Moiz calling him NAMARD Numair's reaction was strange instead of getting upset his tone changed almost as if he felt guilty. I was uncertain at first but when he visited the doctor then it was confirmed that he has problems related to his manhood. So I believe both storylines will lead to separation. Hassan is also dishonest about his therapy showing he doesn't want to change, so Zara will likely leave him. After the revelation about Numair he and Andaleep will probably part ways too. So I don't see any happy endings for either storyline.

Dono khandanon ka dynamic was sooo similar to Mirzapur and joanpur dynamic! And it was implied that noman aejaz once worked for ramsha's father, and similar thing happened in mirzapur where if i recall correctly- rati Shankar shukla also worked for Tripathis once and later on betrayed them.
Edited: oh and i remembered that the mother of noman aejaz is the female version of akhandnand Tripathi, it seems she is going to pull strings from time to time, and going to shape the tides of this entire rivalry.
